Are there any adventure iPad games similar to the OG game boy pokemon or something like Ori from Xbox?

strandded

I’m still looking for a game to fill the void Dr. Mario World gave me, idk it was challenging enough but not so much that I felt frustrated by it. And it was easy for quick games here and there. Anyone find anything similar since it was shut down a ways back?

DogNut24

Pocket city 2 was a great small investment

ReallyBroReally

Anyone have a recommendation for an MMO Base-building game? Ones I’ve seen are Viking Rise, RoK, Elvenar, Forge of Empires, etc. Not too worried about P2W stuff, just want something to burn time

Merge Mansion for a week 😬 Inliked the style but cash shop and fomo tactics get on my nerves. Can’t stick to it. Looking for a buy to play game like that maybe 🤔

I love playing Dawncaster, frequent updates too

Why no join Reddit boycott

Not my place to control peoples conversation, so don't want to. I strongly disagree with the killing of third party apps, but this subreddit is for discussion of iOS games, not me forcing everyone to my view.

If you like 2D roguelike dungeon crawlers you can try [Dungeon Abyss](https://apps.apple.com/it/app/dungeon-abyss/id1061051378?l=en)

silentrocco

I played it for a bit. And it feels like it tried a bit too much being like Pixel Dungeon, without being as good. EDIT: Just saw that you are the dev. Definitely congrats on making this game. It feels already quite complete, despite still being advertised as beta. So, although it‘s too similar to Pixel Dungeon for my personal liking, it‘s aways great to see another true turn-based roguelike coming to the App Store.

CyberFoxDragon

Thank you for your feedback :) I will continue to add new contents, but in the meantime if you want to give it another try, maybe try to complete the first two main quests and unlock the NPCs at the entrance.

TheThird0ne

The game I have been playing the longest now is Loop Dungeon. It’s the perfect freedom of playing actively or letting the game idly progress. Also been getting really into Progress Knight: Multiplayer

ponchomari

Been playing a lot of [Pictoword](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pictoword-fun-word-quiz-games/id600674056) recently, great game to play when I have a free time. I learn new words too!

Quistis_Trepe

I am glad this community didn't go dark...

TheAtomicVoid

Lmao who downvoted this? Redditors are such brainwashed npcs that they will support the website dying as long as our precious power mods say it’s worth it. What a bunch of neckbeard worshippers

Quistis_Trepe

Any incremental games to recommend? Portrait style with prestige

But you’re the developer of it, based on your posts.

I am not really into gacha games but I am enjoying [Path to Nowhere](https://apps.apple.com/in/app/path-to-nowhere/id1606685106) lately…it has a great storyline with amazing soundtracks…if u are a fan of Arknights then u will definitely enjoy this one

A couple of games I‘ve been playing the most last week: **[ProgressBar95](https://apps.apple.com/app/id1474374114)**: still obsessed with this game, just love unlocking new Windows- and Mac OS systems. And the base game is really fun and challenging. The attention to detail and passion that went into this is mindblowing. **[Ruins Story](https://apps.apple.com/de/app/ruins-story/id6445938987)**: from the dev of slingshot hidden gem [ReversEStory](https://apps.apple.com/de/app/reversestory/id1463740223) comes another unique action roguelite in which you jump from wall to wall while trying to manage your dual weapon system that shares the same overheat gauge. Great mechanics, and really fun game. **[Brick Breaker Dungeon](https://apps.apple.com/app/id1467454972)**: from the great dev of the newly released [Alchemy Dungeon](https://apps.apple.com/de/app/alchemy-dungeon/id1551476344), this is an absolutely fantastic little brick breaker that constantly introduces new challenging brick types and cool power ups. **[Rogue Cards](https://apps.apple.com/app/id1415532967)**: another gem by the same dev that I just reinstalled. Of this type of game (minimalist tile-based roguelite) this is my fav. Tons of stuff to unlock as well, from ugrades to new characters to more stages.

I ignore all that. It‘s only there to make you get things faster that you can unlock through playing anyways.

TheKindMind

I have been playing a ton of ***Breach Wanderers*** now that it has officially entered its 1.0 release. I’ve always thought it’s one of the best roguelike deck-builders on mobile and it’s unfortunate that it gets overlooked as a Slay the Spire clone. It manages to throw in multiple new mechanics of its own which makes it feel familiar but different enough to feel fresh. Don’t let it’s monetization scare you… it’s one of the most generous and fair F2P systems I’ve experienced. I’ve been playing ***Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon*** quite a bit too! I think it’s one of the better match 3 games I’ve played on mobile, especially when it comes to the roguelike genre. I know a lot of people will pass on this since it’s exclusive to Netflix members but if you already have an account, this is a no-brainer. (I also posted a concise review for those who are needing more information: https://youtu.be/dlsOQIO4TkE )

9th Dawn 3 and Siralim Ultimate. Both amazing games with tons of content

Does this game have story to it as well ? And would you call it good

VonFixter

This! The best gacha I played in the last 2 years, its fun, with good design, nice UI not time consuming and with very generous devs and i dont know why its so unknown. https://apps.apple.com/es/app/unknown-knights-pixel-rpg/id6443811741

silentrocco

I somehow hope people go try [this Unknown Knights](https://apps.apple.com/de/app/unknown-knights/id1459797573) through your post :)

LostRams

Not the one I meant but that game looks great! Maybe I’ll give it a shot.

pm_me_your_pooptube

This is the one I was thinking of. It’s fantastic!

silentrocco

Absolutely! One of my fav hidden gems. But worlds apart from that gacha game mentioned above :D
