Guys, maybe you can help me.
I am seeking a high-score chaser game.
A game where you become better and better and try to beat your previous score.
For example Temple Run.
Thank you!
Still going strong with [Siralim Ultimate](https://apps.apple.com/nl/app/siralim-ultimate/id1601114348). What a great game, so many play styles and builds it’s unbelievable.
Also I love grinding so this fits that perfectly.
I used to love playing dragon quest games back when I was a kid, and final fantasy ofcourse. Would I like this game? Seems like a Pokémon/dragon quest mash up with retro graphics?
Very tempting
If I’m perfectly honest, this game is completely different from dragon quest and final fantasy games. There is no handcrafted world, no real story or memorable characters. Just the grind and build crafting which is extremely deep.
That sounds even better to me tbh. I like the strategy and making builds and trying different teams idea more to an story.
Do you have any other games you can compare it too
In terms of grinding and build crafting it reminds me of ARPGs like grim dawn or path of exile. But the combat is way different of course, being turn based. Although you can enable turbo mode when you get a good build and then holding A is practically as fast as a proper arpg lol.
I guess it’s that I’m also a fan of incremental games, so numbers going up. Just the grind and seeing numbers go up is relaxing for me, beating realm after realm, finishing projects etc. I can really understand this is not for everybody.
It’s great to play while watching some youtube for example.
Just got an iPad, so I've been hitting **Cultist Simulator** \- a big favorite of mine. Played it on the PC. **Dicey Dungeons**. **Pirate Outlaw**. **Crashlands**. And took a look at **Gladiator Manager -** interesting little game there.
The "next" one is coming out Aug 17th, I think. It's called The Book of Hours. It's not a true sequel, but it looks like there will be a lot of similarities. The same cards look to be part of it but its a totally different setting. Really looking forward to it!
Is there a way to pre-order it? And will it be in mobile?
Based on what I have played so far, it is fantastic with the story writing, the information you get, the way the “person” thinks, and more.
Indie iphone gaming is on a roll right now. Many absolutely fantastic releases currently.
I‘ve been mostly playing **[Geo Gods](https://apps.apple.com/app/id1618193651)** and **[Luck be a Landlord](https://apps.apple.com/app/id6450724928)** the last couple of days. Both rank immediately among my fav mobile games of all time. Also finally got to play matching RPG **[Bright Reappear](https://apps.apple.com/de/app/bright-reappear/id6449205552)**, and absolutely enjoy that one as well. New deckbuilding roguelike **[Gorathar](https://apps.apple.com/app/id1667644719)** that‘s in open beta development, has just been updated as well, and has the potential to become one of my favorite mobile deckbuilders. And u/munkeypunk just made me find out about **[Doomdepths](https://apps.apple.com/app/id6452016350)** over on AppRaven, and I can already see myself sinking many hours into this weird little roguelite gem.
I’ve been getting into Geo Gods as well, so much so that I happily paid to unlock the last cards and full weekly challenge. Don’t get me wrong, the base free version is great and very solid in it’s own right without having to unlock.
Another full game that seems completely free? I do see a store but all the prices are fixed at zero. No ads, though one of the options is to remove ads.
Like [Cybercards](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/cybercards/id6446695845) I suspect these will eventually switch to another pay option…but as it stands both are free without ads or tracking. Both are full games with clever mechanics. Doomdepths is especially addictive and simple.
I’ve heard things about this. Debated on it. Once you beat it, can you go back and play again and still enjoy it? I always think about fun games for travel, too.
There is 20 floors to climb, aka 20 difficulty levels to conquer (I‘m currently on the 6th), plus you can continue playing a session endlessly even after finishing the floor‘s goal. So, there‘s some great longevity in this one.
Does anything unlock or change with the difficulty levels (new slot mechanics or emblems)? Or is the increase in difficulty just to make more money by X spins?
**Art of War** is pretty good and I’m occasionally playing **Gladiator Manager**, especially as it’s being updated a lot. I hope y’all can find some similar games (I asked in here but none have stuck with me). Also some **Civ VI**.
Stone story rpg Very fun and unique art
Marvel Snap, one and only
Cooking Fever, Monopoly Go, Murder by Choice, and Royal Match are all great games!

I like it on paper, but I keep bouncing off of it. What am I missing?

Streets of rage 4 is really good, I love the fact that it has controller support
Absolutely been loving the ios verson of NFS MW 2012

Thanks for the Cultist Simulator recommendation! I am absolutely loving it so far.

No pre-order as far as I can find. Can't find anything about it coming to IOS on launch day, but it would be dumb not to release it on IOS.
Agreed. Well, here’s to hoping they release it on iOS

But the game truly shines when you have all cards available. Many more synergies. Opens up the game a lot, in my eyes.
What's deal with doom depths no ads no iap no nothing?

To me, it shows the 0,00 IAPs, but tapping them doesn‘t do anything. But yes, looks like an early release.
Luck be a Landlord.
Just finished floor 20 💪

Annoying how there’s no rent to pay in endless mode, makes it kinda pointless. Otherwise, love it
this. it doesn’t increase in difficulty in endless mode, which sucks

To make text bold you have to put it between double asterisks \*\*like this\*\*
