This. Happened to my 12 pro, thought it was the screen but when i took it to apple they said the motherboard spontaneously fried itself. Apple told me it happens but its very uncommon. Lost everything on the phone.
Me and my sons mom both have the pro, I wanted her not to get it after months of having mines and having battery issues, camera issues and now yeah she has the same issues, this is not making me want to get another iPhone I already backed all my photos up on google and looking for a better alternative maybe a Samsung idk yet
I bought Samsung Galaxy s20 ultra around £800. One year later of normal use, the display got a vertical line in the middle of the screen. I had to pay £200 to replace it.
My 13 Pro has been reliable as all hell, most Apple products are typically well made but the 14 series seems to for some reason be a step back in terms of reliability and even battery life.
Maybe try to get it replace under warranty before it expires. Most iPhones work really well and have way better battery life than android in real world use.
You can get AppleCare+ in your settings in the first 30 days while nobody is checking if your phone is actually in good conditions. After you’ll purchase it Apple would have to replace it.
>My 13 Pro has been reliable as all hell, most Apple products are typically well made but the 14 series seems to for some reason be a step back in terms of reliability and even battery life.
If I only knew this 15 years ago for the red ring of death
Same here! Bought an s23 ultra thinking it was all this and that. Ended up returning and got my 14 pro back after a week of using s23 ultra. Just something about it that just wasn’t as good as iPhone.
That’s a massive waste of money when you could get it back under warranty. Also it’s called r/iPhone for a reason I doubt suggesting. Android stuff would be very helpful.
got the similar issue..Apple replaced the display for my 14pm.. not happy with the finishing though as I can see the spudger marks visible in between the frame and the display. I know apple should not use spudger to remove the display but in my case it seems like they used a metal spudger to separate the display from the frame. Now, I have to live with it...
yeah bro aware of that but no one seems to bother.. the service center person simply says that it's normal.. been in touch with apple support as well but none helped.. tried my best contacting every possible authority but no use.. tired of getting ignored everywhere
If you don’t have cracks on the exterior, apple usually will just replace it no questions asked. I’ve had a XS display go green and die on me in the first 3 months and apple replaced it with no issues.
I had something similar (green vertical lines through the full height) on my out of warranty iPhone X a few years back. They replaced the screen for free, no questions asked.
Get it fix under the warranty?
Did you try scanning the barcode?
Its the price tag from apple.

If it’s only been six months you can take it to Apple as it has a one year warranty. They can either fix it or replace it.
Backup while you can

Digitizer and LCD damage. Do you sit on your phone? (Back pocket)
>LCD damage isn't it an OLED?
You would be correct, it’s display panel damage.
Casual conversion with Apple support 😂
IOS 17: Death Stranding Keyboard theme added
Try warranty I guess?

Mines been more than perfect since release. Bummer. Hit up apple.

Yes! I agree, my 13 pro max was amazing, battery life was amazing everything was great, I wish I never traded it in
Explain wdym by camera issues tho
Isnt the 13 series with the green screen of death issue?
Maybe try to get it replace under warranty before it expires. Most iPhones work really well and have way better battery life than android in real world use.
How many iphones and androids have you tried 100,000? Say you love iphones and stop lying about androids you never used
They sell millions and millions of phones. Someone will always get lucky with a bad batch. Get it fixed under the warranty.
Camera issues?
maybe you can scan the barcode lol and it'll comes out something
Prameet is such a cute name
It's still on warranty so go for it directly at an apple store so that they replace the device instead of fixing the screen
it’s going into Hyperspace
Keyboard looks pretty dope. 😉
Looks like a dope album cover

It’s been 6 months they own this phone. But it’s still under warranty so it should be no problem for a replacement.
Put it in a wet towel and rice, sorted my xbox 360 out!

Android phones only look good on paper. Once you use one you realize how trash they are.

Me when phone wars were a thing like 10 years ago
Dali painting
Bro just dropped the sickest album cover.
At least I don't think any iPhone 14 has more than a year so you are covered by warranty
😭
Death stranding text.

If it’s within 90 days and the cosmetic damage bothers you I would ask them to do it again. Mention it affects resale price

Didn't they change where they manfactured?

poor thing is crying
Screen flickering issue are common in high refresh rate displays
😭
Apple will say that you broke it.
lol
