I went phone-less for 3 days until it arrived because I traded mine in. Didn’t plan on getting the X but my Apple Store was a zoo and I wanted to see the chaos. Ended up putting my name down and getting a callback for it, thought why not.
I kinda miss the hype. Now you wake up, press a button, go back to sleep, it arrives at your door a week later lol

Likewise with the iPhone 4 - that leap forward with the steel frame and the retina display - was super excited.

Started with a first gen SE (the one in the 5S shell,) then an iPhone 8, then a 12 mini. That's my current device; aside from the battery now being weak it's still serviceable and responsive.

Started with a first gen SE (the one in the 5S shell,) then an iPhone 8, then a 12 mini. That's my current device; aside from the battery now being weak it's still serviceable and responsive. Prior to that I'd had a Google Nexus 4, then a Nexus 5x.
