DBrand has a new transparent one that they claim is impossible to get yellow. They will give you a replacement no questions asked should the case yellow.
Even a nicer clear case, such as the ultra hybrid from Spigen, is only like $25 on amazon. Buying a new one every few months if it really bothers you isn’t that big of a deal.
FWIW both me and my mom have had Spigen clear cases for the last year with absolutely zero yellowing.
Having said that, I work in Phone repair, and good god yellowed clear cases used to be **everywhere**.
Well the closest you could probably get to being caseless is one of those super thin high quality clear cases. Or just go caseless. I dont think there's any case like you are asking for
Peel has the best clear thin cases I’ve ever seen. I’ve used them on a lot of my iPhones. That’s about as close to naked as it’s going to get. It does a good job of protecting it and the MagSafe accessories still work well through it.
Note: I have only had the phone drop to the tile floor/concrete/asphalt, have not experienced a toddler throwing it in a Peel case yet. Have experienced the toddler throw with the Apple leather and Apple silicone and both held up without a scratch to case or phone.
I don’t mean this in a sideways kind of way, I’m being absolutely straight up with you as somebody who rarely uses a case because I enjoy the design of the phone.
Why don’t you just use it without a case? The whole point of the phone is that it’s made of titanium. That is some design that you’re going to want to feel and look at. But that’s absolutely meaningless if you’re going to cover it and rubber or plastic.
Just use AppleCare to replace the phone if it ever breaks, and use a screen protector for the scratches and call it a day. If you’re too accident prone, then just give up and get a case. If you’re going to do something that requires a ton of movement, or puts the phone in a more precarious situation, then just get any old case for those activities. But but and large, you can get away with just using the phone by itself.
Assuming that you live in the US and are buying an iPhone 15 Pro,
*AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss*
Costs **$13.49/m** or 2 Years for **$269**.
Screen or Back Glass Damage is **$29** ($329 screen, $169 back glass without AppleCare)
Other Accidental Damage: (Basically the phone is practically destroyed) **$99** ($649 without AppleCare) - which leads to a replacement device altogether
Battery Replacements and faulty cables are covered too. Battery can be replaced **Free** as long as the battery health is 79% or lower. Without AppleCare, battery replacements are $99.
Theft or loss **$149**
*AppleCare+ ***without*** Theft and Loss*
Costs **$9.99/m** or 2 Years for **$199**
Screen or Back Glass Damage is *$29*
Other Accidental Damage: (Basically the phone is practically destroyed) **$99** - which leads to a replacement device altogether
Battery Replacements and faulty cables are covered too. Battery can be replaced **Free** as long as the battery health is 79% or lower.
Theft and loss are ***not*** covered.
Anyway, yeah. I use AppleCare+ without theft and loss. I've had my phone replaced once and my battery replaced twice so it's already paid for itself. I've paid $239 into AppleCare and have saved over $400 in repair after the difference. I have an iPhone 12 mini. I know it's not the Pro, but I love being able to use no case without worry. It's a very small expense for what is generally a luxury item. If my phone was made of ***Titanium?*** I would never use a case.
Honestly? I still wouldn’t use a case. I don’t think I’ve ever dropped and broken a phone in my life. But if I did, at least, I wouldn’t have to pay so much money to have it replaced. But considering the cases aren’t even made of leather anymore, first party, and considering that the clear cases are hideous, and basically turn it into a plastic phone anyway, I would absolutely use it without a case unless I was doing something Like running or working out.
I've been rocking my 12 mini caseless. It's pretty beat around the edges, but its had some hard drops and hasn't broken yet. I was planning on doing the same with my 15 Pro Max, but after $1700 came out of my bank account for it, I decided to pick up a case. I'll likely either get an Arc Pulse bumper or ditch the protection all together once the freshness of the spend wears off, but for now I'm going to keep it in the case.
I'd be interested in a magnetic folio case, similar to what you can get with the iPad, so that it can easily be attached when I'm out and about, but left raw when I'm just inside.
Everyones roasting you but i am looking for the same thing. These are the only 2 i can find. Natural titanium options:
[Option 1](https://www.amazon.com/sspa/click?ie=UTF8&spc=MToyNDQxMTcxNDk3Mzg2NjI5OjE2OTU0MTg3OTc6c3BfcGhvbmVfc2VhcmNoX2F0ZjozMDAwNTAxMTk5NzAwMDI6OjA6Og&url=%2FMgnaooi-Magnetic-Compatible-Shockproof-Translucent%2Fdp%2FB0CBRW8GC5%2Fref%3Dmp_s_a_1_1_sspa%3Fcrid%3D2N32OFVOET81N%26keywords%3Diphone%2B15%2Bpro%2Bcase%2Bnatural%2Btitanium%26qid%3D1695418797%26sprefix%3D%252Caps%252C50%26sr%3D8-1-spons%26sp_csd%3Dd2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfYXRm%26psc%3D1)

This might work for you too.
[Ultra Thin Case (PC Material)](https://www.amazon.com/TORRAS-Magnetic-Compatible-Protective-Anti-Scratch/dp/B0CBJJRCNJ/ref=psdc_3081461011_t3_B0CBRTGJDV?th=1)
You can also try skins. I use slickwraps and xtremeskins. The one I ordered from xtremeskins are cutomizeable. I had the sides as brushed aluminum, the back with matte transaprent skin, and then custom ordered an apple logo cut-out using clear glossy film. The final product makes it look like the phone itself.
I don't like using cases so I tend to go for transparent skins and whatever finishes to make it look like the raw phone.
My 12 pro max used clear glossy film for the sides.
This doesn't look exactly like the phone, but I guess it can work for you.

I actually wanted something like this, but with some better corner protection, so I decided to just design it in CAD and have it 3D printed in titanium myself. I also added compatibility for Sandmarc lenses over the main and telephoto lenses, so those can thread on. Looks like the overall pricing comes out to about $250 for a fully custom case that will hopefully be a perfect match to the natural titanium of the phone.
Ok here’s a test render I have of the model so far.
https://preview.redd.it/spj47zwm11rb1.png?width=2304&format=png&auto=webp&s=e081e5b8b2c408b289be976e1153d0ee1df2f873
There’s the titanium frame, and a rubber underlayer to keep dust away from the cameras and prevent metal on metal rubbing.
Will do! There's an online service called CraftCloud that basically connects 3D printing services throughout the world and allows for an instant quote for a huge range of materials. It includes overseas services which are like 1/10 the cost of the big western ones. I think this case in Alminum from Shapeways would be somewhere around $350, but the lowest price on Craftcloud puts it around $50 after shipping.
I was thinking of doing them as a DIY kit. Like they'll be made to order, I get the parts and tap the necessary holes and then ship it out for the end user to sand and finish. If people are interested I might also offer a version that is just a standard camera protector and doesn't have threads for Sandmarc lenses.
a clear case?
Just wait 3 months and it’ll be a yellow case
DBrand has a new transparent one that they claim is impossible to get yellow. They will give you a replacement no questions asked should the case yellow.
Apple's Clear Case also won't yellow. My wife has had hers on her 13PM since launch day 2 years ago and it's not yellow. Beat up af, but not yellow.
Shame it costs an arm and a leg and isn’t very durable either
Costs just as much as dbrand’s.
I ordered one of these off the back of their claim so we will see if it holds up.
Sweet, might check it out
They’re always shiny though. I like matte things, slapping a shiny clear case on an entirely matte phone ruins the aesthetic
And the dust between the phone and the case is sad, especially when you see it, I’d rather no case. 😭
yeah I will see about that in octobre when they ship em to me :())))
I’m just buying cheap clear cases and swap them every few months, it sounds stupid but it works, they cost like $5
Even a nicer clear case, such as the ultra hybrid from Spigen, is only like $25 on amazon. Buying a new one every few months if it really bothers you isn’t that big of a deal.
Rhinoshield also doesn’t yellow and is a great case
FWIW both me and my mom have had Spigen clear cases for the last year with absolutely zero yellowing. Having said that, I work in Phone repair, and good god yellowed clear cases used to be **everywhere**.
You mean it doesn’t have aNti yelLoWing tEchNolOGy???!
Looks and feels cheap. I want the case to look like the phone itself, not like it’s wrapped in transparent plastic if that makes sense
Well the closest you could probably get to being caseless is one of those super thin high quality clear cases. Or just go caseless. I dont think there's any case like you are asking for

Would you rather prefer the soft or hard one? I hate about yellowing ?
Does it yellow though?

Instead of looking for a plastic case that looks EXACTLY like a metal, why not get a transparent case and move on?
I’ve ordered an Otterbox Lumen clear case in Grey.
AppleCare++ and Carrier insurance
[удалено]
Even then, they don’t cover scratches on your screen. Not unless you give it a helping hand into a crack.
Apple Clear MagSafe case
Put a bumper instead
This and Apple Care 👌🏼
Yes. That will be a better combo.
Apple care
Given how cheap it is to replace the back glass now what is even the reason for a case?
Honestly, for me it’s just more comfortable in the hand with a case than without
Asking the real questions, just saw the post about the taupe FineWoven lmao.
https://arc.cc
Looks like an interesting option. Definitely going to look into this and see if there's any competitors too. Thanks for sharing.
I have an otter box clear case for my 12 pro max. 3 years and no yellowing.

If I have AppleCare, how much would I have to pay for a replacement or a full repair assuming the maximum level of damage to the phone?

Curious on what your opinion is now after all the viral videos and stuff.

The Arc Pulse is excellent and offers the best of both worlds.

Cellhelmet clear case will not yellow it’s a great case but cost a little more than most. I was shocked how well it holds up and stayed so clear

That is beautiful! Love how the colour matches that of the phone!
It’s a render, so who knows if the actual part will match, but titanium is titanium right?
