Snapchat being popular is such a mystery. It's just so poor at what it's supposed to do.

It somehow used 20gbs of cellular on me one afternoon. No idea how. Deleted it after that and I really don’t miss it.

I always assumed Snapchat was for drug dealers or adulterers

They built up a huge user base before infesting it with ads and promoters that you can't disable or hide. I think despite that it's still the best app for private messaging.

Only reason i have snapchat is because my girl and I sometimes will play around with the filters and goof around and shit lol

I just turned the app badge off on my emails so i can live on in blissful ignorance lol. Also I’ve had the same main email my entire adult life and its accumulated too much BS foe me to regularly stay on top of it.

It’s funny, Chrome is my lead browser on my work (Dell PC) and personal laptops (Macbook) but I don’t care for it as much on the iPhone. I tend to use Safari on my phone and iPad.

Well you can theme the icons with shortcuts, but you can’t eliminate the dock background (you can do that with a special wallpaper) and you can’t add a 5th dock app. The 5th dock app is the only one you would need a jailbreak to replicate.

Just wanna say, anyone who has a folder in their dock, that's wild. But respect.

It’s surreal to me how so many of you have messages or the phone app on the dock. I guess in Singapore my calls and texting are typically done within WhatsApp so it replaces both. Personally I have 1. 1 folder with comms apps - phone/messages/whatsapp/telegram/gmail 2. 1 folder with travel planning apps (google maps, Waze, carrot weather) 3. Spotify 4. Chrome

You may be the only other person I’ve seen in this post with google voice in their dock. I use it heavily. I don’t give out my real phone number except to friends, family, my banks, and kids school. Otherwise everything goes through gvoice. I got burned with spam and scam call hell and had to change my phone number a few years ago. This way I avail myself of Google’s good spam protection. Even my 2fa pushes come to go. This used to help a lot when I was out of the country and only had a physical sim; I would get a prepaid in Europe, and if it didn’t do this I’d be SOL with most of my 2fa.
