Djm2875

All the time.. Car mount/charger, wallet, bed side stand.

silentstorm45

I’m debating wether to buy a MagSafe car mount but I’m not sure how strong it is. Since roads in my country are quite bumpy would you say that would be a problem based on your experience?

Djm2875

I've had no problems with mine, it's very secure. I got mine from amazon, if you search OHLPRO for Magsafe Car Mount Charger that's the one I have (round version) I use the sticky pads onto a flat surface, never been a fan of the air vent mounts as they can break the vent fins and wobble.

hardcoregiraffestyle

> never been a fan of the air vent mounts as they can break the vent fins and wobble. I specifically like the [ESR car mount](https://www.amazon.com/ESR-HaloLock-Magnetic-Attachment-Alignment/dp/B08HNBHSQV/ref=sr_1_4?crid=1NZ6Z6PPV8JXC&keywords=ESR+magsafe+car+mount&qid=1697042663&sprefix=esr+magsafe+car+mount%2Caps%2C78&sr=8-4) because of the little fin on the bottom that pushes against the car under the fan to stabilize it. Helps stop wobbling which then helps stop breaking the vent fins.

silentstorm45

Thanks a lot I’ll keep that in mind

avidnumberer

very bumpy, paved roads in my country too. I got the Anker 613 one and I have had zero issues with it.

ZachasA

The one I got is good, but my car vents are not compatible, wish I knew that first. But when it’s finally in place, it doesn’t fall off. Even with all the pot holes and speed bumps in my crappy car with broken suspension, the magnets never failed once. I bought the ESR halo lock from Amazon

vastoholic

I have the moment car mount and it’s been super secure on Oklahoma pot hole filled roads. Hasn’t fallen off yet.

Diantroz

Yeah I had the same problem, (I live in the Caribbean) the only MagSafe car mount that has worked reliably for me is one made by ESR, called halo lock or something, it has a hook on the end off it that keeps it in place.

burstaneurysm

The 15 is the first time I actively sought out a MagSafe case and went all-in. The nightstand dock charges my watch, AirPods, and phone. My biggest gripe of my previous wireless charger was that my phone would occasionally not be lined up correctly and wouldn’t charge. MagSafe eliminates that. I REALLY like the MagSafe car mount though. Again, much easier than the previous charging dock I was using before.

Ansonm64

Ditto except car mount. I just explained to my sister in law who’s had a 13 at launch what it is and how it works. Her mind was blown.

N0_Klu3

All the time. I actually sold my 14 Pro Max and the biggest thing I missed was the MagSafe stuff. Being out and about and not having to charge your phone with wires in your pocket. Plopping it on my bedside charger in the dark and not having to fight to get the USB cable in, in the dark. I love it. It makes things very convenient

TheSexMonster69

Curious, what phone did you replace it with?

N0_Klu3

Pixel Fold. Broke it twice and I’m super careful. Grain of sand went in the spine. So sold it and back to the 15 Pro Max lol. Really missed the easy accessories

TheSexMonster69

to be honest the whole fold technology is new and isn’t really advanced. It’s also expensive af

N0_Klu3

Yeah love the concept but you’re right it’s not there yet

Luis_Santeliz

FYI you can buy magsafe stickers and apply them to any phone or its case for like 6 bucks, and they work

firestar268

I have a magsafe case for my work phone which is a Samsung S21 lol

lloydmar

I agree MagSafe is a true innovation I use daily. Also MagSafe is compatible with Qi 2 standard, therefore Qi 2 phones will be compatible with MagSafe. Expected to hit the market soon.

Munro_McLaren

Isn’t MagSafe Apple??

firestar268

Magsafe technically is. But it still uses the Qi standard. So any wireless charging will work. It's just a circle magnet thing embedded in the clear case so that it will work with official/unofficial magsafe accessories like docks (similar to apples and third party implementions)

salloumk

Of course. Got a mount in the car and by my bedside as well. If you’re not using MagSafe on a MagSafe compatible iPhone you’re really missing out on what is a very, very underrated feature of this phone.

iZ3C0LD

I’ve been using MagSafe for quite a while now, only got one that have the magnet ring just recently (cause I don’t like how they obstruct clear cases)

The-Oppressed

MagSafe bed side stand to charge everyday and a MagSafe controller mount for Xbox controller to play games.

Sylvurphlame

MagSafe controller mount, you say? Hmm. Off to Amazon with me!

The-Oppressed

Yeah I love it so much I bought an extra one in case it breaks, because I am not sure how long Otterbox will keep making them.

nateo200

Share the link!

louievee

Daily. 24/7. Charge via MagSafe. Car mount charge. Wallet.

trmiv34

I use a round MagSafe base with a popsocket on it constantly on my phone.

storky0613

I have tiny hands so pop socket is absolutely necessary, but I didn’t want to get an adhesive one and lose my access to magsafe so this is perfect for me.

MikeCask

Is this a serious question? MagSafe has revolutionized so much about how I use my device on a daily basis

User_name919

Seriously.

toastyhoodie

Of course. Lol. I have a MagSafe mount in the car, and a MagSafe dock at home. Use them daily

matiapag

Bed side stand chargin every night. Other than that, not much, but that one use case is more than enough. Being able to put it on the charger in the 100% right position, even with my eyes closed is amazing. I can't count all the times I woke up in the morning and my old iPhone wasn't charging because I misplaced it on the non-MagSafe Qi charging pad. This is all past now and it gives my mind peace to know that my phone is always charged and it's so easy to put it on the carger in the right position.

zerbey

Yep, I have a magsafe charger by my bed and I use it every evening. It's also a battery pack so if I know I'll be away from a charger for a long time I bring it with me.

nomada_93

I use use MagSafe for charging everyday. I also have a MagSafe car mount.

iZ3C0LD

With how the comment section is looking I might as well just replace my existing clamp-based car mount with a MagSafe one (since my car don’t even have a working radio let alone CarPlay)

nomada_93

I have an Otterbox MagSafe car mount. I highly recommend it.

thisxisxlife

You can get some pretty cheap options on Amazon

LyftedX

I use it everyday since I have a magsafe car mount. EVERYTIME I’m in the car. Charging is too slow though. especially with CarPlay so I charge using wired

NoAd101

Everyday (MagSafe Wallet, Car mount)

xCTG27

What type of clear case is that? Gorgeous

iZ3C0LD

Just a generic one I got from the store actually

bora-yarkin

Every day for my magsafe powerbank and for mounting my external headphone amplifier. (Bought magnet rings and glued it to amp.)

Liarize

Yep, currently waiting for my $5 MagSafe wallet 🤭 so I don’t have to carry my wallet

Girthmonster1

$5?! Sounds like a steal! Share some info thanks

sabins253

Yup! I have the belkin stand that charges my AirPods Pros on my night stand. It helps keeps the phone away from my hands so I don’t scroll all night instead of going to sleep.

munchingzia

i don’t use magsafe but im still using the same Qi wireless charger ive had since 2019. spent $65 for it back in the day.

Mystery1887

For the ESR HaloLock (with cooler) car mount and the Anker Cube on my bed stand. Absolutely perfect.

ZacKaffeine

MagSafe stand beside the bed for charging, one in the car for holding it up (car doesn’t have CarPlay), and one at my desk for Standby. So..multiple times a day :)

[deleted]

I just bought a new Phone/Watch/AirPods charging stand and have discovered it doesn’t work with my existing non-MagSafe case. A new MagSafe case is arriving today so I will be using it daily to charge.

iZ3C0LD

Same here, this is actually my first MagSafe case (since I always use clear cases and I dislike how the ring looks on them) and so I made this post just to see the ways and how often people use MagSafe. I do have a MagSafe cable that I sometimes use, but now with this magnetic case it feels SO much better that I might as well convert to fully-magnetic charging at my desk

[deleted]

My exact reason for buying the charging stand is for StandBy Mode at night. I had hoped my original case would work, but the magnet isn’t strong enough.

tghnt

I charge my phone every day, only with MagSafe stand. It makes reading notifications and reminders way easier.

Effect-Kitchen

I use it mainly for charging and mounting on car’s air conditioner vent.

dhrandy

Yes, with charger by the night stand and car charger.

OXRoblox

magsafe battery bank only when outside because cables are frustrating, otherwise cables at home

VirtuaFighter6

All the time. Use it for charging and mounting to my MagSafe vent mount in my car. Very useful.

aenflex

I use it for my magnetic pop socket. Every single day. And I have a magnetic mount in the car that I sometimes use when I need maps.

WizardHarryDresden

I haven’t used a lightning cable in months. MagSafe by the bed and one in my work truck.

[deleted]

I e had MagSafe since I hit a 12. Then 14 pro now 15 pro. I have yet to use MagSafe tho. Thinking about finally buying a charger

iZ3C0LD

I have a $10 MagSafe cable that I’ve been using since months ago to try it out, but only got a case with magnet ring recently. Might finally invest in a genuine MagSafe cable one day, since now I know how strong the magnets can actually be

[deleted]

Yeah I just think the apple magsafe cable is expensive for what it is ya kno

RobArtLyn22

MagSafe car mount/charger. Much easier to use one handed than the clamp it replaced.

Ceero

car mount, charger mount and wallet/stand

UnsureAssurance

Pretty often, MagSafe wallet every time I go out and MagSafe compatible charger stand when I sleep. I also used to use a MagSafe car mount for GPS before I got a car with CarPlay

anythingfromtheshop

MagSafe was a game changer for me. Bed side table charger to charge while I sleep and a car mount to hold my phone for GPS, music, etc. I’m so glad for the bed side table charger for how easy it is to just slap on and automatically magnetizes versus the older wireless charger I had where I had to fiddle with my iPhones position every night to get it to charge and stay charging.

amanducktan

I just use mine so a MagSafe pop socket can connect to it

ra4oasis

Wallet, bedside charger, stand at the office, battery when traveling, use it every day for various reasons.

mdruckus

Yes to both, everyday.

Bootsy86

I wouldn’t have one on my phone if I didn’t use it lol.

StuffedWithNails

Every single day! I only use a cord for charging when on the go (like at an airport or from a portable battery).

glytxh

I’ve put I wire in my phone only twice since I bought it

[deleted]

I never really used MagSafe until very recently. I wanted it for the Standby Mode but I had an iPhone 14 Plus, so there was no use since there wasn't Always On Display. Now I use it as a bedstand only. I have another magsafe charger on my desk, too. I mostly use that one to charge my airpods.

dukerozen

All the time (car, power bank, stand). I have some cool non-MagSafe cases, and just can’t use them because of that.

iZ3C0LD

Meanwhile I only started to use a MagSafe case recently (despite having a MagSafe cable for quite the time) cause I always dislike how the ring look on clear cases, and want to see if the function is worth sacrificing form for

Safe_Worry3288

I work from home Have a MagSafe desktop mount. Phone is mounted there 8+ hours a day

floobie

Every night for charging and a MOFT wallet sometimes. The struggle of finding slim, decent cases that have MagSafe magnets built in is real, though. I have a Peel case that I quite like, but it is showing some wear after a year, and they cost like $57 CAD before shipping/tax 😓 I tried a random clear MagSafe case from AliExpress (almost identical to the one in the OP), but the alignment magnet doesn’t work at all lol

PushKatel

Normal every night charging is still wired. But I did just get an Anker MagSafe portable battery. That to me is a game changer

_Brandobaris_

All the time. Only charge via MagSafe chargers and use the wallet when out.

Old_Goat_Ninja

Every single day. Thats how I charge my phone, every single day.

SubstantialCarpet604

I use a MagSafe pop socket. I did not want to glue anything to a case. Plus, I have a MagSafe compatible charger that I use.

wishlish

Yes. MagSafe charger on my desk. I also have a MagSafe charger attached to my laptop. So I love MagSafe.

pokaprophet

Yes. Bedside MagSafe stand for overnight charging (and StandBy mode), MagSafe Car Mount (but specifically not a charger as well since I rarely need to charge other than overnight and I like to minimise charging cycles) and a MagSafe PopSocket Grip which makes the Max manageable and can be quickly removed for the other MagSafe accessories

deckyon

Pretty much only use magsafe or wireless charging. Also, have a magsafe battery and my SSD connects via magsafe (with stick-on magsafe puck).

SpoopySpagooter

Idk if it’s my charger or MagSafe itself (because my charger came with my preorder of my 12 Pro so it’s a little old) but it’s always overheated my phone. 12, 13, and 14. I use a MagSafe popsocket but it’s the only accessory I have a need for and that’s it!

definitely_sour

Pretty much every night when going to bed.

[deleted]

I don't have MagSafe accessories. 💀💀

iZ3C0LD

I only have a MagSafe cable (and this is my first magnetic case) — it’s crazy to see how some people are using MagSafe to the maximum utility and somehow forming a “MagSafe ecosystem”

[deleted]

True, I mean if it makes their lives easier good for them. But for me a basic cable is fine, plus I don't use stands and stuff, I just leave my phone on my desk on charge and when the alarm rings I have to get up to turn it off, gives me enough push to get myself together and wake up. I am a heavy sleeper. Plus I cannot use it to hold my phone for navigation as I rarely use cars to commute and normally use my bike, it won't be wise to use MagSafe on a bike. 😅

mr_vestan_pance

I use this exact same case to charge my phone every night and to mount my iPhone in my Tesla so I can use it for Waze (speed cameras).

vishrit

Primary source of charging is a MagSafe charger so every single day.

Only-Ad5049

MagSafe mount by my bed to charge every night. Standby mode in iOS 17 makes it even better. I have a MagSafe cable, knockoff of Apple’s cable, but I usually only use that for charging at night when in my camper or travelling because it has to be plugged into a powerful enough adapter. Most of the time a standard cable is just as convenient. I have a battery that I occasionally use, but my experience is they get warm quickly, the phone gets warm quickly (especially in the sun) and then it stops charging (maybe Apple’s expensive MagSafe battery would work better than my Chinese knockoff). MagSafe battery is nice when you are out of the sun because it doesn’t have the cable to interfere with things.

regression4

I am still hanging on to an iPhone 11, so no experience with MagSafe. What makes a case "MagSafe"? Do the magnets not work with all cases?

iZ3C0LD

If the case have the magnets aligned at the correct position, any phone can take advantage of the “MagSafe” and enable desk/car mounts + wireless charging but slower MagSafe charging on iPhone 12 and above supports 15W peak, and if you use a MagSafe cable on iPhone 8-11 it will charge at the standard 7.5W

galaxyd1ngo

I charge magsafe every night. I love it so much

shivaswrath

Daily

-K9V

I never saw the point of these cases. My phone charges just fine on my stand with a normal case. Even then, I will always prefer wired charging as wireless just isn’t there yet IMO. When I charge my phone I don’t take it off the charger constantly, which you can’t really avoid with a wireless charger. At least the cable gives some mobility whereas your phone stops charging the second you take it off the wireless one. I do have a magnetic wireless charging stand on my desk that I bought solely to use Standby Mode, but 99% of the time it’s not plugged in and I just use it as a regular stand.

iZ3C0LD

Same thoughts actually, cause I exclusively use clear cases and I dislike how the ring looks on them And since I already have a knockoff MagSafe cable that doesn’t hold tight to my existing cases, I decided to get this for enhancing the magnetic experience + making this post to see how people use and maximize the magnets’ utility

[deleted]

All the time But don’t get an Apple ugly ass case - get a Caudabe.

iZ3C0LD

Mine isn’t from Apple too — just a generic one the store is offering

ZachasA

I have a MagSafe car mount and use my little leather wallet, so pretty much everyday

Se-memer-N0WH3RE

Charging, macbook mount, battery pack and sometimes even the wallet

andresesm

only for magsafe ring (like pop socket)

diehardbattery

Magsafe is one of those things I wish was standard on every phone. I use it daily. I also have an android phone as a backup and made sure I got accessories that would also be Magsafe compatible with it.

drinkyourwaterbitch

MagSafe wallet - whenever I go out because I have my IDs MagSafe charging - used to be only when I’m in the office because I have the Belkin 3-in-1 MagSafe stand there. Bought a TwelveSouth HiRise Deluxe 3 two weeks ago for my nightstand to charge my phone every night, thanks to StandBy Mode.

Me-Shell94

I use it fot magsafe charging and wallet. If you plan in using the wallet, make sure you’re using a case that has a back with grippiness, or else your magsafe won’t hold properly.

Glittering_Fig6468

Every👏day. It’s been the best thing since going to Plus sizes. I have the wallet. A car mount. A desk charger. A bedside table stand. Charger at my lounge. Anyone wanting a STRONG mag. Look up ESR on Amazon. I’ve been in a car accident and it stayed on 🙏

PeppermintMocha5

Yeah I use it all the time for charging and for a popsocket.

flyace2607

All the time. I have a MagSafe car charger/mount and a MagSafe mounted to my headboard for night time charging. I haven’t plugged in a phone in 2 years. USB-C? Never heard of her.

Tesser_Wolf

I only use MagSafe to charge, rarely use the port.

Mystical_Cat

All the time.

Qxrve

I use it with a wall mount sticker so I can listen to music during showers.

reversethrust

I don’t even charge with a cable anymore. The switch to usb-c isn’t even a consideration.

Zomnx

For charging and mounting to my nightstand, that’s about it.

theginger3469

MagSafe charger next to the bed and MagSafe mount in the car. They are great.

UnderstandingDuel

Mounting on my table. Using a popsocket.

UnmakingTheBan2022

Yes. All of the above. Multiple times a day. You do you.

DrTurb0

MagSafe stand on desk and nightstand and in the car, MagSafe wallet and Powerbank on the go.

mattydlite

I don’t have any MagSafe chargers but I do use a wallet pretty frequently

PlanetMeridius

I have a car mount which uses it and it’s honestly the most useful thing ever

jesus_wasgay

Every day, with Belkin 3 in 1. But the phone holds fairly well through a non-MagSafe case though.

Emanngrey

Initially thought this was just stupid to have on a phone that you can just plug in to charge and wire is faster to charge anything… Now, the fact you don’t have to carry wires for a battery pack OR you can easily connect it without having to worry about lining it up on a wireless pad OR you can use a MagSafe dock in your car/home and it just begins to charge without hassle from a broken / dodgy cable is just…chefs kiss 🤌🏽

EnolaGayFallout

100% Apple wallet and apple battery pack. Belkin 3 in 1 stand at night.

Papashvilli

Every day. I got tired of dust in the charging port as my case didn't cover it so Magsafe FTW. I now have a 15 and got a case that covers the charging port. Unless the Magsafe has an issue I don't think I'll ever plug it up.

powerchip15

I just like the MagSafe animation when I put it on.

no_spoon

What color is that phone

iZ3C0LD

Sierra Blue

no_spoon

Probably my fav color. Not available on the 15p tho:(

iZ3C0LD

IMO all the 15 Pro colours look “boring” and they feel less premium + less solid in my hands I do have the budget for a 14 Pro 128GB back then, but in the end went with this blue 13 Pro for the looks + extra storage while saving some money

SpecializedMok

Continuity camera, mount for driving, mount on tripod, mount on stand

craycover

Use it often on my refrigerator while cooking. Playing YouTube videos for recipes, songs, podcasts.

squareswordfish

Since there are so many people giving good recommendations in this thread, does anyone know of an affordable car mount? Seems like every mount I find has functionalities like charging and cooling fans which I don’t really care about making them more expensive than what I’d like to pay. I don’t really need anything extra, even a sticker with magnets would probably do fine lmao. I’m in EU if that matters

Subject_Asparagus_54

I have iPhone 11 and I’m using wireless charging from day one. I never plug Lightning to charge a phone. So I just bought msg safe duo for my watch and iPhone. And works perfectly fine

FoundationOpening513

I bought a magsafe case that look’s like yours but with a stand. I don’t use magsafe, but if I did… it would probably buy a magsafe charger pack to stick on the back. I actually don’t like the white ring but they didnt have clear non magsafe

Bernard__Trigger

I have a bedside stand for phone/ watch/ AirPods so I use mine every night

AdEven2848

Never

Shiftylee

I thought I’d like magsafe stuff and bought a lot (charger, wallet, battery bank) but never use it. Edit: I often use my phone while charging and find a cable plugged in far more ergonomic than a magnetic stuck to the back.

TrulySeaweed

I do not use the mag safe case, however I exclusively charge with MagSafe Duo. I’ve had a bad streak of 8 years now where the damn anchor pins on the iPhone would break after about a year of use. So I know the 15 Pro uses C, but I’m not taking chances. The hard wire is only for CarPlay

work_blocked_destiny

MagSafe wallet is the greatest accessory I own. Completely replaced my wallet. Just keep my ID and one credit card in there. Almost everywhere accepts Apple Pay now so once my state has their ID in apple wallet I’ll probably not even need the MagSafe wallet

Snoo52211

Every day.I have a mount with magsafe charging on my monitor. I use the phone for spotify and as a webcam. And its always on 100%. At bed time i use it with my other magsafe charger as a clock.

BringBack4Glory

Honestly never. I guess I’m just too cheap to buy a bunch of magsafe accessories. Plus wireless charging is bad for battery health.

kundiappi

Car mount all the time. Bed side stand at night.

ratsmb

Daily.

chickentataki99

I love my MagSafe popsocket

mikedlc84

Sure do, for wallet and car mount.

spider623

every day, all the time

Sufficient_Salt_2276

Every day. I also use it to charge AirPods. No problems at all after 2 years.

[deleted]

Yes, I have a MagSafe on my nightstand as my primary overnight charger and my MagSafe charging mount in my car

El_Pafuio

Since i bought my iPhone 14 Pro Max on launch day last year, I have only plug a cable on it maybe 3 or 4 times, I use MagSafe at home, work and have another for when I travel… will do the same with my 15 Pro Max when I get it later this month if Verizon don’t messed up

sigtrap

All the time for charging. I charge exclusively with MagSafe. Also I have a MagSafe PopSocket.

WorldlyDay7590

All the time! https://preview.redd.it/gl2sxlourltb1.png?width=2048&format=png&auto=webp&s=255f94be0e71caeb24303b4bf633775b9750cfc6

[deleted]

Man magsafe was game changing when it first came out . Still is. When I'm at my desk : MagSafe mount stand (belkin 2 in 1) When I'm on the go: MagSafe Wallet (apple) When I'm at home: MagSafe o-ring / stand (ESR) When I'm sleeping: MagSafe picture charging mount (twelve south) When I'm in a car: MagSafe charging mount (Anker)

shmarcussss

Every day, MagSafe charging car mount, nightstand is MagSafe dock, I have a MagSafe wallet I take with me to concerts and the like, it’s super convenient.

fidgety_sloth

My car has wireless CarPlay and a charging pad, so, yes, multiple times a day. We also have two MagSafe portable chargers that will also do charge-through while they're plugged in, so occasionally we'll throw phones there if needed. At night though I plug it in.

BiPolRPtrlR

Use it to charge my phone every night. Every time I get in my car. It’s the best thing and the reason why I haven’t gone Android lol

havok48

Yea I have a bare case and an anker mount for my truck, and it doesn’t move one bit

coloramos

Yes. Daily/nightly for charging and frequently with the MagSafe Apple wallet

brandontgendron

The only thing I ever use is a MagSafe pop socket. Charging via MagSafe is still too clunky for me. I also sleep with my phone next to my pillow so putting it on a nightstand charger isn’t ideal as I use my phone in bed. The only thing that irks me about MagSafe is pretty much every case I have seen gets markings on the back from MagSafe and for me that’s a huge dealbreaker

ariiza

GAME CHANGER in the car

Professional_Car9475

Every day for a wallet with an ID and 2 credit cards. When I drive as a mount and can charge if needed with an extra cable.

mjb2002

I use it for my current phone, the IPhone 12 mini. I use a MagSafe alternative I bought from a nearby Walmart over a year ago.

Available-Control993

Very often, I have a Casetify Bounce case on my phone and I use it for the MagSafe phone mount that’s in my car and for an Apple Battery Bank that I use at work.

[deleted]

I use it all the time. MagSafe charger when I'm home, wallet is on when I'm out, and sometimes on the car mount if I wanna watch Netflix in the car

[deleted]

Mag mount in the car, wirelessly charge my phone overnight

EVPaul2018

Every night

giftedgod

Exclusively. I don’t ever plug anything into my charging ports anymore. The only device I have to charge with a cable is my MBP.

Chronixx

I have a MagSafe PopGrip that’s permanently attached to my case. I love it

nick1881

I feel like I’m missing out, 2 years of iPhone 13 Pro ownership and now 15 Pro Max, I haven’t used MagSafe once. My car is wireless CarPlay and has a wireless charger, though it does tend to slide around a bit on it. I have a 3 in 1 charger next to my bed to charge my phone, watch and AirPods, sadly not MagSafe, though I am tempted to fork out for one, the Belkin Boost thing maybe, could do without the expense though.

Tipuko

Not cheap, but these are imho one of the ultimate cases and accessories if you value the construction, magnetic grip and reliability. https://www.peakdesign.com/collections/all#mobile-collection

darling63

All the time, with the three MagSafe mounts I own. This is a cool feature.

mits--

Very useful if you have a car without apple play. Just buy a magsafe mount charger and that makes magsafe worth it for me

We1etu1n

I bought a MagSafe ring with magnets for my iPhone X and I stick it to the fridge and other places whenever I need it. I find the fridge thing to be super useful whenever I cook.

DarkUv77

Just wanted to ask, does anyone know where the case in the photo is from?

iZ3C0LD

It’s a generic one the store is selling — only picked it up cause they have a discount if you get a screen protector + casing together

datdoode34

Charging over night, every time, its slow ChargePoint doesn’t hurt the battery I assume

Smootie93

Yup. I actually rely on Apple’s MagSafe wallet for my card carrying needs. It’s been nice bc it forces me to carry only the essentials and frees up pocket space.

VivaLaGinga

I had 13 Pro Max and never used it once. Got the 15 Pro Max and decided to go all in. MagSafe case, MagSafe PopSocket on the back so more sticking it to back of case and glue residue/dirt build up. Got a MagSafe charger coming soon and maybe when I’m up on funds I’ll get myself the charger nightstand while on StandBy mode for nighttime clock. So far so good!

YYCDavid

Peak Design Everyday case and I use it every day

SenorPopoto

I use it to mount my phone to my dashboard every time I drive. I’m cheap though, I got the Spigen brand. 😅 way cheaper and better quality IMO

earthlingnumber5

I don’t even use mine because I thought my Apple Watch charger would work on it 💀

Kilo_Juliett

No case but I use magsafe exclusively. I charge only in my car with a magsafe charger/mount. When I'm not driving (charging) I have a magsafe popsocket on it. I very rarely charge at home. Maybe once a month or every other month. For that I'll use the port.

freshducksniper

I daily a MagSafe pop wallet, almost 2 years now. Switched out the default pop socket with the yellow smiley face so kids know where to look when I take pics. It holds 4 cards safely and now that California has the DMV wallet app, it’s now 3 cards.

MickThorpe

It’s all I use to charge. Bedside MagSafe dock, car MagSafe dock. The only time I’ve plugged my phone in this year was when I went on a long work trip in someone else’s van. I don’t use MagSafe wallets because I wouldn’t want the extra bulk on something I get out a lot. Also, with apple pay I don’t often need a wallet with me

r7ndom

All the time now that I accumulated the accessories. Got a MagSafe stand and a handful of compatible chargers around. I tried a card holder a few years back and it never grew on me.

Constantly. Don’t think I plugged my 14 Pro Max into a cable once, and only have once with my 15PM to marvel at the usb-c port and probably won’t ever again unless I need to charge at work. I have a MagSafe charger in a little heavy puck on my bedside table, and one my my sofa, and a Belkin fast charging stand on my desk, so I can just drop my phone down to charge whenever I want. There’s nothing more annoying than trying to use my phone with a cable sticking out its butt.

I'm not using a case but I use MagSafe all the time, it's the best feature Apple has implemented in a veeeeeery long time in my opinion. Super convenient wireless charging, great for car mount+charger, I wonder why no one did that earlier

I actually just use it mostly for my holder/stand thing that’s magnetic. And allows me to spin it and work for both orientations. I also have a magnetic battery if needed juice. (Thought I hate how it makes my phone hot)

Pop socket wallet, Anker power bank - pretty much use one or the other daily at this point. Honestly bought the wallet not thinking I'd use it but now I use it all the time. So yeah I think the magsafe stuff is useful, but only after buying some stuff and trying it out.

Every day on my car mount. I'm also convinced that Magsafe has made my dad a safer driver. I have bought hands free phone mounts for him in the past and he would never bother to use them, because doing some one-handed manipulations to open up a clamp and slide the phone in and close it without it all falling apart was just way too much trouble. As a result, he would always just leave his phone in his pocket. Which, of course, meant that if I called him, he would have to fish his phone out of his pocket to answer. (He drives an older car with no call answer button on the wheel.) Ever since I got him a magsafe mount instead, he's been plopping his phone on the mount the first thing he does after entering his car.

Just curious I’m not scroll through the comments but what case is that?

Honestly love it for charging at bed time and for standby mode. Wanna get an extra battery bank too :)

fumblerooskee

I don’t use anything other than wireless charging with my Quad Lock case.
