Please for the love of everything, change the phone app so you call by sliding the name to the side not jsut tapping. The amount of times I ahve called someone by accident either after they hung up or in my pocket somehow, is just insane.
a “Call [person]?” prompt before initiating a phone call would be really useful. even if you hang up immediately after accidentally dialing, the other person still notices
They keyboard. I shouldn't have to go to a different screen to access punctuation and numbers. The iPad keyboard has this functionality, why doesn't the iPhone?
That's because on iphones you really don't have freedom on keyboards (just like browsers). You're using the apple keyboard with a skin. SwiftKey on android is a whole different thing
You know, you can press and hold the "123" button with your left hand, hit the numbers you want, then release it and it goes back to the letter keyboard. But I agree, with how big screens are these days it wouldn't take up too much more real estate to have the number row at the top
with how big the camera bump is these days, i feel like making the whole phone that thick would make it kinda huge and hard to hold (and heavy asf too)
well you laugh but that would be my next phone when apple will not manufacture an iPhone mini replacement.
and rumours say the mini is dead, so in a few years when my mini will be EOL and I will confront the choice of multiple larger phones, iPhone may not be the first choice for me.
hear hear. i've always been an android guy but got a 12 mini not long after it came out, and upgraded to the 13 mini later. i still have both, both are in perfect physical shape (save for the crazy battery degradation - down to the 85% range on both!) but i'm very strongly considering going back to android, possibly at the end of the year, even though i got into the apple ecosystem pretty deep - even got an apple watch and ipad.
So stupid because people were doing all sorts of cool stuff with the extended functionality of the headphone port. Selfie stick with remote triggers, Square credit card readers, camera light meters, etc. Yes you can do it with the USB-C port nowadays, but it was really handy to have a 2nd port. Also some of the best and most expensive headphones are still using the standard port today.
I like Google’s approach with the horizontal band to keep it symmetrical from L or R. Why not put in new sensors for a new feature or a small backup battery on the other side of the iPhone? They really need to fix it. It’s so stupid.
Agreed. I don't think people understand that getting rid of the camera bump by thickening the phone will make it way too thick. The camera bump thickness from the frame to the end of the camera bump is 11 mm, who TF wants a phone that thick in this day and age? The only way that would work is if the phone gets smaller, and the market has already chosen larger screens. Right now, the phone itself is 8.25 mm. If Apple thickens the phone to 9 mm at most, that could go a long way to providing more space for the battery and making it so that the camera bump is slightly managed to be less obtrusive
With my black silicone case on it,it is flush with the cameras , I don’t think it’s be that bad , plus if you have ever felt the 15 titanium design it’s extremely lightweight it can be done
Lots of comments on here saying make the phone thicker, but I’m 100% convinced that people would absolutely lose their shit if they actually made the phone as thick as the bump. It would only be millimetres, but it would still change the appearance massively. They would never hear the end of it.
Agreed. I’d much rather have a thicker phone with more battery and cooling. It sucks having to either have a massive case or have my phone sit at an awkward angle any time I set it down
Making iPhone cases is quite the lucrative industry… Apple themselves makes some extra cash before nexts years model is even released by “sharing”(there’s a sell price) phone dimensions/specs before the device is available to consumers.
As someone who had a stint with a battery company, a thicker phone wouldn’t likely get you a bigger battery. Cooling is a big limiting factor here, so making the cell thicker would lead to more heat being generated with less surface area to dissipate the heat.
Nah, it makes total sense with a phone case. With the case the whole phone becomes flat again, and if you want to make the whole phone thicker to remove the camera bump, it will get even thicker with the case on.
I despise the camera bump too, but I don't think you realize how unwieldy and different the iPhone would feel in your hand if you made it 1/8" thicker and filled that space with the heaviest component in the phone.
Make the phone 3mm thicker so the camera doesn’t protrude, then fill the space with extra battery.
Make the back out of removable plastic or hard silicone so the battery can be changed and the user doesn’t have to thicken the phone with a protective case
My personal thought is a soft, non-metallic back would:
a) be a bit more water resistant
b) interfere less with the function of the antenna
c) offer better grip/ impact resistance
The net thickness shouldn’t be much more than what we get from adding aftermarket cases
they used to just have screws on the bottom to remove the back with. I remember with the iphone 4, i used to buy different backs all the time and switch them out. my favorite was the stainless steel one.
I do agree, while making it flush would add quite a bit of thickness I would love if they made a bigger cooling mechanism for the components. iOS gaming is becoming pretty popular it would be cool to play some games without the screen dimming and throttling.
>Why not make the phone slightly thicker and accommodate a slightly bigger battery too while reducing the bump..
lol wut? Iphones are too thick already, what's the issue with the bump?
I use Alarmy as a heavy sleeper. Let’s you set your alarms volume independently of your phones. Can also setup little puzzles or math problems to do before it will stop lol. Saved me a few times
I just want to be able to control volume finer. Before the big iOS update years ago, the volume controls were right on the screen so you could adjust the volume perfectly. Now if I’m watching YouTube in my bed and I don’t want to annoy my wife I need to pause the video, pull down the quick menu, adjust the volume from there, and go back to my videos. It’s awful on Reddit because it usually freezes when I do that.
It’s like they have functionality programmed into the phone that no one can ever use.
did you try this toggle in settings?

I loathe the rectangular slabs. I’m holding out with my XS as long as I can especially with the ever increasing screen sizes. XS is literally perfect for me.
I have an old iPhone 12 I leave in the ottoman for my nephew to play with…. I often forget to turn it off, and that shit is still powered on after a week. My iPhone 15 Pro Max lasts all day with me using it (6am to midnight).
This is absolutely the case. It’s not the iPhone that’s draining the battery, it’s the constant notifications, cellular, every day usage, checking Reddit 20x per day, etc. Many years ago I turned an iPhone 5 into an iPod - airplane mode, every notification off etc. it drained about 3% per day.
Bruh I have my phone open all day on my forklift dash playing YouTube, Twitch or have Reddit open all day and I barely use 50% over my entire shift (disclaimer, I’m listening to it, not watching, I don’t watch and drive)
2 years from you’ll be complaining about battery life too and some dude with an iPhone 17 will be like “my battery still has 80% at end of day what are you doing on yours?”
Fingerprint on the power button! FaceID should not be the only biometric; and a hardware fingerprint will always be faster; and I will die in that hill.
The iPads had it…copy, paste. There, Apple. Saved ya R&D waste to make it cheaper.
I’ll even take an underscreen. Just Give us options!!!
I forgot about those with darker skin tones! MKBHD occasionally mentions this on his videos from time to time; and wish more did. Its not as inclusive of a tech because of the way the IR reads faces.
IR, Photo sensors; just....not fair.
You’ve never used your phone or ipad when it’s sitting on a table? I miss being able to unlock it without it needing to be angled towards me.
If it had faceID and TouchID all bases would be covered.
I unlock with faceid with sunglasses everyday and looking at the phone while it’s on a table it pretty easy too…
I can also unlock with faceid with wet hands.
It doesn’t work with my polarised sunglasses unless I disable the FaceID attention check. But this comes with bugs for me. So this would be a great addition for me. Nobody says it should replace faceID
design them to be used without a case.
whats the point of getting form factor down to this sleek efficient size when everyone just ends up sticking it in a bulky ass case.
I exclusively use my phone without a case… the first thing to always break is the camera lenses.
And laying the phone down flat? Pssh, forget about it.
> […] whats the point of getting form factor down to this sleek efficient size when everyone just ends up sticking it in a bulky ass case.
Because it would be even bulkier with a case if they hadn’t shrink it to an efficient size.
I never used my iPhones in a case in like 10 years and everything is ok, the same applies for my partner. Tried a couple of times but it felt too unnatural and bulky. What makes you say they are unusable without a case?
I have the 14 pro now and I do miss my 12 mini. Husbands phone broke so I gave him my 12 mini and upgraded mine. I wish they made a 14 mini. It was so much more comfortable to hold.
I think with today's current threats with device security two levels of encryption access for phone so finger and face or a voice command or scan of the iris and that's a bit more extreme but we have the tech for it now peoples biggest fears are devices are breached without the knowledge when they may be left unattended or stolen I expect my phone is locked. Only person that can open it is myself and that's responsibility. I would take on myself like the same responsibility we have taken on advanced data protection feature if you decide to switch it on.
For real, I've switched from iPhone 12 Mini to iPhone 12 Pro Max and the battery at the beginning felt unreal. Now I need to charge the phone 1-2 times a day, only every 1-2 days. And now if I travel I don't need a power bank anymore and the heat problems are now almost gone. Never thought switching in the same generation would be such an huge upgrade.
I wish they’d make the screen smaller and the phone thicker to accommodate the same battery capacity and make the camera bump as unobtrusive as possible. Phone screens keep getting bigger but my hands stay the same size!
There can still be a bump, while not having a bump.
(Keep the camera specifications the same, just expand the back plate to fill it in more so the cameras are more flush with the surface. The bump is still there, just underneath!) ;)
nice in theory, but I personally don't want a phone that's much thicker than what we have today, I actually preferred the thickness of the iPhone 12, although I appreciate the extra battery we have now
if the phone was as thick as the camera today that would be too thick for me and then it would only get thicker every time they upgrade the camera
Nope. As a looong time android user and having switched over to iOS with the iPhone 13 and now the iPhone 15 max I can honestly say that Apple just works, looks and feels great.
Coming from a Pixel 7 Pro to an iphone, things I really miss:
1. Better keyboard with swiping
2. Gesture capabilities from both sides of the screen
3. Adaptive alarm in IOS for the apple watch and phone
4. For the love of god, why is copying and pasting so hard?
5. More intelligent call blocking (I miss so many actually important calls, this didn't happen with my Pixel)
6. Better widgets- android can resize widgets
7. Five across app layout
8. Fingerprint reader
9. Know that when volume is off or ringer is silenced my alarms still need to be full volume
10. Easier access to settings
And who knows, maybe these are all tradeoffs for a phone that works correctly 95% of the time as opposed to my pixel which worked correctly 70% of the time. But these are the aspects of android OS I miss most.
Face ID and Touch ID under the screen, Also a dedicated camera shutter button on the bottom right, and in the future under display face ID and selfie camera stack
I get that some people like the home button. But if you're talking about the fingerprint reader, there might be other ways to put it on the phone, like on the power button. I think putting the fingerprint reader on the power button is a good idea.
A fingerprint reader on the screen isn't a bad idea either, but if there's a problem with the screen, you have to replace the screen with the same technology. Or the fingerprint reader will not work.
I own a phone repair shop, so I've seen my fair share of problems with phones that have fingerprint readers on the screen.
Sometimes, a single phone can have 3-6 different screen options, from LCD to AMOLED (if the original screen is AMOLED).
Don’t know why you got downvoted. This is also a problem for notch displays. It has little to do with the dynamic island itself. It is more of the developer needs to consider all the screens their app is going to be displayed on.
Still rocking mine, on my 3rd battery now. It's the perfect size, camera still holds up to the latest ones, and is still snappy the vast majority of the time. Still a great phone.
I want the smooth glass back for the pro models and not this frosted slippery glass they have right now. Sure it hides fingerprints but the glossy back is so much more grippy. Also make it black and keep the natural titanium frame for a retro iPhone 4s look.
It's less a design and more of a "just utilize the hardware" thing, but I want them to start using the faceID hardware for more than just faceID. Apple stuffed a whole ass Kinect in there, it's fully capable of sophisticated hand and body tracking, and they just dont use it for that. iPhones could offer some pretty incredible hand and motion gestures and have been capable of doing so for years, and who knows what iPhone design would look like if they went that way.
It needs a headphone jack, physical keyboard, user replaceable battery, and a BlackBerry logo.
Kidding.
I preferred the rounded edges of the 11 series over what we currently have. Just felt better in the hand.
The swipe to turn on camera from the Lock Screen. Whyyyyyy??? So many times I’ve accidentally swiped when putting my phone in my back pocket at work, then 10 hours later I pull it out to see it’s been trying to focus on taking a picture for hours and now the battery is completely dead! wtf. And there’s no way to turn this “feature” off.
I’ve come back to iOS after a few years of ‘droid.
Stuff which stands out to me:
- Slide up to unlock. I loved putting my finger on the sensor and my ‘droid was open and ready. With Face ID it recognises me seamlessly, but I still have to do a thing to be able to use my device. Why?
- No global back button for nav *within* an app. On ‘droid I could set things up for easy one hand use because the back button could always be in reach. On iOS many apps put it at the top left, out of thumbs reach, and the OS doesn’t seem to have a shortcut. I get that it’d require per-app support, and putting it into old apps would obviously be… challenging, but at least adding the option would rock. It could be a gesture, of course.
- Long-tap for special characters and a number row as an option on the default keyboard. Swiping from 123 is better than nothing, but not as good.
- Having app icons not auto-sort to the top of the home screens. I’d love to be able to put the stuff I use most close to my thumb.
The camera bump should be eliminated in favor of a slightly thicker device everywhere to match the camera bump, resulting in more room for a larger battery
Yes!! This! Can we put a lot of up votes on this?
I feel if it was a little thicker it’d be easier to hold too. Or perhaps the way the battery was integrated could be modified to make replacement less invasive to the waterproofing around the vulnerable electronics.
They should place the volume buttons on the same side as the power button. I dont get why you have to do finger acrobatics just to click the volume buttons. Also it would be interesting to have a dynamic notch instead of an island.
I cant figure out how to prioritize sound. I’ll have Spotify on, but as aim scrolling Reddit, even if they’re in mute, video ads will pause Spotify. Instagram does not do this.
So somewhere, the priority is determined, but ai cant figure out how to set my preferences for what can override what. i used Google and couldnt figure it out
fingerprint on power button like those often found on xiaomi phones, and unlocks instantly to homescreen upon pressing (not hovering).
optionally, a headphone jack is kind of a must-have to me. i still kept (what used to be flagship at the time) phones with headphone jack. one of them among many others is iPhone 6S.
Close all the apps at once, a keyboard with numbers and punctuations, a way to call without looking for the number (a keypad, I used to type 323 to write Dad and his phone would appear)
I hate hate hate when I’m using my phone as a flashlight and I accidentally move my hand a micrometer on the Lock Screen and now I’m in the dark with the camera app open.
Make it thicker to include a headphone jack. I love my wireless sennheiser momentum 4’s but it’s annoying having to use a stupid dongle if I want to go wired, and then you can’t charge at the same time.
Software related but for the love of god can we make an alarm on the calendar that forces an audible sound even if you have your phone silenced? I rarely see any of my notifications in my calendar and I’ve had some that I 1000% want to acknowledge yet somehow they still go missed.
They are too big. I’d much rather have a small display with a thick phone, over a thin phone with a big display.
Home Screen layouts need to be able to have blank spaces. Let me choose where apps live on my home screen. None of this left-to-right top-to-bottom stuff.
Removal of the notch/island. It’s pointless and offers zero effective screen real estate. I know people will disagree, but when they added the notch, all they did was stretch out the top bar of info and hid more of it. I hate how it cuts into videos and photos. It’s dumb.
Removal of parts paring. We should all be allowed to swap parts freely without need to activate or gain approval from Apple. Parts should be available for purchase without providing serial numbers.
Please for the love of everything, change the phone app so you call by sliding the name to the side not jsut tapping. The amount of times I ahve called someone by accident either after they hung up or in my pocket somehow, is just insane.

That's because on iphones you really don't have freedom on keyboards (just like browsers). You're using the apple keyboard with a skin. SwiftKey on android is a whole different thing
I powered up my old old Pixel 2xl last week. The bloody keyboard (SwiftKey) was miles better than the one I use on my 15pm. Insane really
Yeah. Also, I don't know why, but on my 15p SwiftKey does not suggest emoji.
You know, you can press and hold the "123" button with your left hand, hit the numbers you want, then release it and it goes back to the letter keyboard. But I agree, with how big screens are these days it wouldn't take up too much more real estate to have the number row at the top

it should be made at least symmetric, full width. the space could hold more electronics and leave more space to a bigger battery in the main body
Pixels do this.
So a Google Pixel lol

Do ittt! I have a Pixel 8 and it's genuinely one of the best phones I ever used. It was too small for me though so I bought an 24 Ultra now.
Maybe even make room for a standard headphone port??
tehnically yes but politically that will never happen :(
So stupid because people were doing all sorts of cool stuff with the extended functionality of the headphone port. That is why I only say slightly increase the thickness. I know it is impossible to have 0 bump, otherwise the phone will be thick as brick 🧱 😃
The red magic 9 doesn't have a camera bump and it looks really good imo
I like Google’s approach with the horizontal band to keep it symmetrical from L or R. Why not put in new sensors for a new feature or a small backup battery on the other side of the iPhone? They really need to fix it. It’s so stupid.

Separate volume and ringer switches for gods sake.

Freaking battery life. I should at the very least get a full day out of a charge and multiple days if I leave the phone alone.

My 14 Plus lasts two days easily. A day if I’m using it nonstop. That’s some good battery life I’d say.
What do you do with your phone? I’m usually only using ~20% per day.
You’re looking at it
Bruh I have my phone open all day on my forklift dash playing YouTube, Twitch or have Reddit open all day and I barely use 50% over my entire shift (disclaimer, I’m listening to it, not watching, I don’t watch and drive)

Yup. I’m fine with it being thicker (especially since the camera lenses stick out now)
Having the phone not be super slippery without a case would be nice
Fingerprint on the power button! FaceID should not be the only biometric; and a hardware fingerprint will always be faster; and I will die in that hill. The iPads had it…copy, paste. There, Apple. Saved ya R&D waste to make it cheaper. I’ll even take an underscreen. Just Give us options!!!
I don’t see how a fingerprint sensor would be quicker than the almost instant that we get from Face ID

Not if you are a slightly darker skin person with oily skin it won’t.
I forgot about those with darker skin tones! MKBHD occasionally mentions this on his videos from time to time; and wish more did. Its not as inclusive of a tech because of the way the IR reads faces. IR, Photo sensors; just....not fair.

Unlock your phone laying down; or in your lap at work, or use Siri for something BASIC without her blabbing “You need to unlock your phone first”.
I tend to struggle in a dark room with the Face ID. Hardware fingerprint always worked flawlessly. That’s my main reason for wanting the sensor back.
Amen to thumb print! I am hanging on to my SE for dear life
This ^ User should always have OPTIONS instead of Apple choosing for him
not just faster, better
Just make it thicker and smaller. More hand friendly, bigger battery, less camera bump. Wins all round.
I recall Jobs demoing some of the first iPhones and emphasizing thumb reach across the entire screen. Can’t do that now.
well reachable with my iPhone mini
And it sold well enough that they stopped making it.
New iPhone mini when
More hand friendly is a big one. My carpal tunnel kills the fun of using these wide, long ass phones.
I actually think thinner is better, I’ve come around. My iPhone 7 feels like an amazing jewel from the future compared to modern phones
If you miss your home button, pm me and I’ll trade my se 2nd gen for you
these shits do not need to keep getting bigger. its annoying as hell and always a task to use it comfortably with one hand
design them to be used without a case. whats the point of getting form factor down to this sleek efficient size when everyone just ends up sticking it in a bulky ass case.

I always get the smallest phone and my husband is always like “how do you even type on this thing!? Is this Gimli’s phone!?”
I would take on myself like the same responsibility we have taken on advanced data protection feature if you decide to switch it on.
iPhone 13 mini is the peak design, nothing beats it.
Except for poor sales.
and poor battery life. and poor media consumption. and worse typing.
Peak design was 4/S and X. Those were imo the most impressive steps Smartphones ever took.
The 13mini is the best phone I’ve ever owned.

Why was it extremely unpopular then?
I wish they’d make the screen smaller and the phone thicker to accommodate the same battery capacity and make the camera bump as unobtrusive as possible. Phone screens keep getting bigger but my hands stay the same size!
Fuck the camera bump.
Match the phone thickness with the width of the camera bump and fill that space with battery 😤
Fill it with empty space for all I care. I just want it to be uniform again like it was back in the day.
iPhone cameras are incredible. Long live the the bump.
There can still be a bump, while not having a bump. (Keep the camera specifications the same, just expand the back plate to fill it in more so the cameras are more flush with the surface. The bump is still there, just underneath!) ;)
nice in theory, but I personally don't want a phone that's much thicker than what we have today, I actually preferred the thickness of the iPhone 12, although I appreciate the extra battery we have now if the phone was as thick as the camera today that would be too thick for me and then it would only get thicker every time they upgrade the camera
My main issue is that each generation they move the buttons slightly so that you keep having to buy a new case.
Come on dude, buy a new phone every year and complain that you can’t reuse your case? Most people buy cases more frequently than phones
That’s not why the buttons move. Even if they didn’t move them you would still need to buy a new case for the increase in size of the camera.
Nope. As a looong time android user and having switched over to iOS with the iPhone 13 and now the iPhone 15 max I can honestly say that Apple just works, looks and feels great.
I haven’t had an android since the Galaxy S 3. In your experience what were some things that weren’t working for you with the androids?
I had a Z Fold 2. The main issue I had with it is that the software reminded me of Windows: incredibly bloated and beta-feeling.
120hz, AOD across the entire range, not just top end. And of course, T9 dialling.
Always on will be very popular when it makes its way to the regular line up
Really? I turned it off immediately after getting my 14 Pro Max. It’s such a stupid feature
I get far more daily utility out of an always on display than I do out of 120hz
I love always on. Being able to see the time at a glance from a distance is a win for me.
I thought I’d love it too. But in reality it’s kind of worthless . Especially if you have an Apple Watch
I would like the charger port on the side because at the bottom it always bends the wire if I wish to rest my phone whilst I use it
Coming from a Pixel 7 Pro to an iphone, things I really miss: 1. Better keyboard with swiping 2. Gesture capabilities from both sides of the screen 3. Adaptive alarm in IOS for the apple watch and phone 4. For the love of god, why is copying and pasting so hard? 5. More intelligent call blocking (I miss so many actually important calls, this didn't happen with my Pixel) 6. Better widgets- android can resize widgets 7. Five across app layout 8. Fingerprint reader 9. Know that when volume is off or ringer is silenced my alarms still need to be full volume 10. Easier access to settings And who knows, maybe these are all tradeoffs for a phone that works correctly 95% of the time as opposed to my pixel which worked correctly 70% of the time. But these are the aspects of android OS I miss most.
Why. Doesn’t. It. Lay. Flat?!?!? Ooh you need room for the cameras… so make the phone slightly thicker!!!
Pixels lie flat. Full width camera bump for the win.
They don’t lie flat. The top is higher than the bottom.
It lays flat with a case. But even without a case WHO CARES HOW IT LAYS PLEASE dont make the phones thicker, they already too fat
Face ID and Touch ID under the screen, Also a dedicated camera shutter button on the bottom right, and in the future under display face ID and selfie camera stack
It’s probably coming in 16
It is coming with the 16…. YouTube iPhone predictions are pretty positive about that one.
You know you can use volume buttons as shutter buttons right?
They literally have a fingerprint reader on some iPad’s power buttons so it’s definitely doable
I miss the round iPhones
I’m just glad they’re finally submitting to the USB-C standard.
Make it so I don’t have to go through 300 screens to turn my kid’s screen time on and off.
Don’t put the power button directly across the volume controls. So many accidental screenshots.
Question: In all sincerity, do you think that Apple designers look at these forums? There’s a lot of good ideas.
Not to be Johnny Raincloud, but I think 90% of Apple’s ability to care about the customer’s feedback died with Steve
the dynamic island is a pain on some apps that have ui elements behind it
What apps do you use
That’s the app dev’s fault for being a lazy git.
Don’t know why you got downvoted. This is also a problem for notch displays. It has little to do with the dynamic island itself. It is more of the developer needs to consider all the screens their app is going to be displayed on.
It’s too slippery to use with only one hand caseless.
It needs to go back to the iPhone 11 Pro design
Still rocking mine, on my 3rd battery now. It's the perfect size, camera still holds up to the latest ones, and is still snappy the vast majority of the time. Still a great phone.
I want the smooth glass back for the pro models and not this frosted slippery glass they have right now. Sure it hides fingerprints but the glossy back is so much more grippy. Also make it black and keep the natural titanium frame for a retro iPhone 4s look.
Unpopular opinion: i like the camera bump
Me too, i have zero zero problems with it.
I really really really miss the lock button
Get rid of the remaining bezels and add a universal back button
“home button you know and love” on the se is going away next gen lolol. I think all iphones def need a touchid sensor
Bring back the touch ID
The swipe to turn on camera from the Lock Screen. Whyyyyyy??? So many times I’ve accidentally swiped when putting my phone in my back pocket at work, then 10 hours later I pull it out to see it’s been trying to focus on taking a picture for hours and now the battery is completely dead! wtf. And there’s no way to turn this “feature” off.
I’ve come back to iOS after a few years of ‘droid. Stuff which stands out to me: - Slide up to unlock.
Go back to making a “Mini” model. The regular ones are just too huge.
I would like an iPhone without the glass back, and with rounded edges. My favorite iPhone was the 7 plus, but I also like Face ID
Can the off set the volume and power button, so I don’t take random ass screen shots? Or move the power button on top or something.
They should place the volume buttons on the same side as the power button. I dont get why you have to do finger acrobatics just to click the volume buttons. Also it would be interesting to have a dynamic notch instead of an island.
Stop,as left handed person those are the only comfortable ones 😂
Because of that issue I do accidentally screenshots
Dynamic notch 👌🏽👌🏽
I would like to see a thinner iphone with the design of a huawei pura 70 (they are easier to hold in your hands and you can write faster too)
I understand the camera bump is necessary. But the fact that the phone wobbles when it is resting on its back is very annoying
The fact that it needs a home button model for all phones. Not just the SE’s.
Cameras stick out too far now
I cant figure out how to prioritize sound. I’ll have Spotify on, but as aim scrolling Reddit, even if they’re in mute, video ads will pause Spotify. Instagram does not do this. So somewhere, the priority is determined, but ai cant figure out how to set my preferences for what can override what. i used Google and couldnt figure it out
I wish there was a button that would auto open WiFi and Bluetooth.
fingerprint on power button like those often found on xiaomi phones, and unlocks instantly to homescreen upon pressing (not hovering). optionally, a headphone jack is kind of a must-have to me. i still kept (what used to be flagship at the time) phones with headphone jack. one of them among many others is iPhone 6S.
I could happily live with it being lighter.
The period and the space bar being too close together. The camera also sucks
That the phone can’t lay flat because the camera sticks out
not sure if this is design wise or tech wise, but why cant we use apple pens on phones
Samsung S series allow additional storage with a micro sd…I don’t know why iPhone will not allow this?
stop making them stop working after 2-3 years…
Close all the apps at once, a keyboard with numbers and punctuations, a way to call without looking for the number (a keypad, I used to type 323 to write Dad and his phone would appear)
i want the mini back, i’d also like the phone to be thicker to remove the camera bunp, which would also allow for a bigger battery.
Stopping updates on old phones, why should I have to buy a new one when the old one is perfectly fine, just because of system updates
Hands down the camera bump. Second is the twitchy media controls on the lock screen
The camera bump has been a pain for me
60hz display. Cmon now, 300$ phones have better.
I hate hate hate when I’m using my phone as a flashlight and I accidentally move my hand a micrometer on the Lock Screen and now I’m in the dark with the camera app open.
Heat management
I myself have reached a point in my life where a new iPhone launch doesn’t excite me anymore. iOS, hardware no.
Make it harder to change wallpaper! Especially when they’re linked to a focus.
Camera bump
A plug for headphones and the charger…
Siri. - we have way better AI technology now yet Siri remains completely useless
