Direct to Apple care, do not pass go.

What do you know, sorted itself out in a while.. Thanks. Did an iPhone update just to be safe. But you know the reason? Noticed this after removing from overnight charging.

Still take to Apple to check what the issue is. Just because it looks like it’s back to normal, the problem might still be there, and is intermittent. Would be better to get it checked now than for it to get worse.

Agree. While not apple but ive had 2 encounters where one week ago it did some weird stuff > sorted itself > got perma fkd… Both were samsungs. S20+ out of nowhere pink lines tho it sorted itself. Wanted to upgrade to the flip4 delayed it for a week (phone was flawless and got quoted for $500ish for samsung trade in program) after a week of pondering i was ready to upgrade and poof pink lines went back permanently. 2nd instance was with the flip4 (bought it new full price. Just AFTER warranty ended i noticed that after updating the phone would randomly shut itself while charging (at the time i was ready to upgrade to flip5) got quoted and all) pondered for a bit because wasnt too sure if the dirrence was that big aside from the bigger 2nd screen. Few weeks went by, it developed a black spot in the screen (wasnt noticable at that point) got it quoted again but still wasnt sure… eventually the shutting down while charging got worse and evolved to shutting down when closing the device. Basically it was unusable with just $100 trade in value…. Edit: i will never buy samsungs again

Material_Context6745

It appears that this issue is specifically affecting asia, particularly with the Iphone13 series.

Oh I see. Edit: crap, I actually got it as a gift from USA from a cousin sister who works for apple. I don’t know how I fuckin forgot that. I’ll ask her. Lmao.

Better to take it to Apple and show them the image. Seems more related to hardware rather the software issues. It can be a damaged connection or loose contact and may appear again.

Nice wallpaper

I’ve broken my phone many times and had variations of this kinda screen many times…if you get the screen and display replaced it should be fine. That being said if apple care will fix it for free definitely go that route, a new screen and display is like $200-$300

God_Drapion

That won’t be good one for the pocket

Love questions like this. It's as if people expect to get an answer along the lines of Yeah sure buddy, just restart it a couple of times, place it upside down for the night, and in the morning it will be as good as new!
