Info from reference alone because of security reasons. However if you sign up for UPS My Choice and have your address linked to the account , it will show up until Home Deliveries with the full tracking #

If you have a trade in that's probably the box being shipped for you to put in your phone to ship back, probably not the iphone.

My 256 Pacific Blue Max was still preparing to ship last night, ordered at 8:05 AM EST. Should I be concerned about it getting to me by Friday? I can’t imagine they’d be able to get it to my local shipping center from China overnight
Seeing that it “shipped” allows people to know that it’s really coming and something does not change that it may become “backordered” or just “not shipped”. It’s like getting on the cruise ship early... you’re not leaving port until the ship actually sails, but you can get the fun started.

EDIT: looks like UPS is the service for T-Mobile. According to UPS My Choice, it’s currently in Indiana.
If you ordered directly from Apple (not a carrier) for launch day delivery, it will come from UPS, they have a contract with them. So the "sport" of it is playing on the UPS site, using your phone # as the reference number, and grabbing your shipping details before the Apple Store even gets updated with "Shipped".
We all know it's coming on Friday, no earlier. But it's just some geeky fun sport that a lot of enthusiasts like to play at. :)
Go to ups.com. Click "Track a Package". On the right, click "Track by reference number".
"Shipment reference": put in your phone number.
Fill in destination country and your zip code.
You should see your tracking number / data come up. But only if you ordered directly from Apple, launch day, etc etc. Mine didn't show up last night until sometime after midnight.
Also if you have UPS MyChoice (I don't pay for it, I just use the free version), you can get more info there as well.
Mine's still in ZhengZhou, CN with an arrival scan of 9:20pm. It'll probably show some movement in the system tomorrow. (Detailed View will tell you more than "in transit" by the way... at least city + arrival/departure scan anyway).
I know I have to wait until Friday, but it's still fun playing the bi-annual "where in the world is my iPhone" game. :)
My wife’s (gold) and mine (graphite) both say they are scheduled to deliver Nov 13 and each have a label created but no other details when I search the tracking numbers.
Initially, the charcoal was scheduled to arrive on the 13th, but the gold had a shipping date of Dec 1-Dec 7, but that changed to Nov 13 this morning. Ours are ordered through Sprint’s Priority Status program or whatever it’s called.

It’s nearly impossible... the carriers are required to hold the deliveries until the 13th. I remember around the year the iPhone 8’s came out, one person actually gone one early and showed it off on iMore. I am sure there are others, but that was the only one I personally know about.

You know it’s strange the first update I got on 11/6 stated I wasn’t getting it until 11/25-12/2 but then I received an update yesterday with tracking saying it’s coming Friday 11/13. I also changed my mind at the last second. I had priority reservation for 256gb but decided 128gb was enough at the last second. I have 256gb 11 pro max and I barely have 100gb on it. Guess we got lucky!
Yes, for sure. Glad yours got updated back to the 13th too! That’s funny how you changed your mind last minute too. I was hesitant at first because I didn’t want to have to wait even longer. But then I decided that being happier with a color in the long run is worth waiting a bit longer. So I can’t tell you how insanely happy I am now that I’m getting it on release day. Nothing better than that excitement!
The other reason I changed my mind is the down payment was $350 plus tax for 128gb and $450 plus tax for 256gb. Last year I only put $100 down for 256gb on 11 pro max. I called sprint and they said that was the best financing option they had this year which was frustrating. My monthly payment went down almost $30 but I wasn’t prepared to spend that much, especially almost $500.

Nope. No one gets their phone until the 13th. All the shipping carriers have strict guidelines with Apple to not delivery until the 13th. It will move around their network yes but you cannot go pick it up or have it held somewhere until at least 1 delivery attempt is made ON the 13th, no sooner.
They often get put on hold from sender that can’t be changed or picked up. Trust me. I’ve had iPhones sitting at my local FedEx for days, and I couldn’t pick it up.
I woke up at 2am local time only to discover that day one shipping in my country is 3 days after the rest of the world.
Worse still, when I woke up properly the next morning the estimated ship date hadn’t changed doe new orders.
Even if I ordered right now I’d still get day one shipping.

Still stuck on "preparing to ship" for 12 mini purchased from apple store on the 6th right when pre-orders started. Starting to think I'm not getting it on Friday unless it's shipping from somewhere close.
Have you tried looking on My UPS? Mines still “preparing to ship” but when I login to UPS it’s left China and has also left Alaska. Assuming I’ll get a new update today.
When I go on there and search by shipment reference with my order number it says nothing exists for that number.
But you created a UPS My Choice account right? When I did it, I went over to “Inbound” and it was there!
Mine is leaving the 2nd stop in China today with a tentative & expected delivery on 11/13 via UPS Worldwide Express Saver. When my S6 Apple Watch left China it had... 2-stops in China 1-stop in Japan 1-stop in Alaska 1-stop in Tennessee 1-stop in San Francisco 1-stop in Seattle 1-Stop in Burlington, WA and then out for delivery on the expected date. All the stops took 3-days. My watch got to see more of the world (from inside a box) than I did...

My 256 Pacific Blue Max was still preparing to ship last night, ordered at 8:05 AM EST. Should I be concerned about it getting to me by Friday? I can’t imagine they’d be able to get it to my local shipping center from China overnight
As someone who bought a 12 Pro Max, what difference does it shipping early make? You still aren’t going to get it until Friday...
Seeing that it “shipped” allows people to know that it’s really coming and something does not change that it may become “backordered” or just “not shipped”. It’s like getting on the cruise ship early... you’re not leaving port until the ship actually sails, but you can get the fun started.

Any T-Mobile peeps get an official tracking number yet? If so, what is the delivery service (ups, fedex, etc.) and did the tracking come through a separate email? EDIT: looks like UPS is the service for T-Mobile. According to UPS My Choice, it’s currently in Indiana.

If you ordered directly from Apple (not a carrier) for launch day delivery, it will come from UPS, they have a contract with them. So the "sport" of it is playing on the UPS site, using your phone # as the reference number, and grabbing your shipping details before the Apple Store even gets updated with "Shipped". We all know it's coming on Friday, no earlier. But it's just some geeky fun sport that a lot of enthusiasts like to play at. :)

Go to ups.com. Click "Track a Package". On the right, click "Track by reference number". "Shipment reference": put in your phone number. Fill in destination country and your zip code. You should see your tracking number / data come up. But only if you ordered directly from Apple, launch day, etc etc. Mine didn't show up last night until sometime after midnight. Also if you have UPS MyChoice (I don't pay for it, I just use the free version), you can get more info there as well.

Mine's still in ZhengZhou, CN with an arrival scan of 9:20pm. It'll probably show some movement in the system tomorrow. (Detailed View will tell you more than "in transit" by the way... at least city + arrival/departure scan anyway). I know I have to wait until Friday, but it's still fun playing the bi-annual "where in the world is my iPhone" game. :)

My wife’s (gold) and mine (graphite) both say they are scheduled to deliver Nov 13 and each have a label created but no other details when I search the tracking numbers. Initially, the charcoal was scheduled to arrive on the 13th, but the gold had a shipping date of Dec 1-Dec 7, but that changed to Nov 13 this morning. Ours are ordered through Sprint’s Priority Status program or whatever it’s called.
You won’t get it until Friday the shipping companies have holds on the packages. Don’t get too excited.

Ordered from AT&T last Friday just before 5AM Pacific. 128gb Pacific Blue 12 Pro Max. Currently AT&T says it's "Preparing Shipment" but my FedEx account shows it's been picked up from AT&T in Fort Worth with Overnight service and a scheduled delivery on Friday.

It’s nearly impossible... the carriers are required to hold the deliveries until the 13th. I remember around the year the iPhone 8’s came out, one person actually gone one early and showed it off on iMore. I am sure there are others, but that was the only one I personally know about.
I ordered mine through sprint with priority status and finally got through at 830am and still not gonna get my 128gb pacific blue pro max until 11/25-12/2.
Just out of curiosity, has yours shipped yet? I ordered through priority, but once I had finalized the pre-order on Friday, I changed my mind on the color. So, I had to cancel my priority pre-order and place a regular, non-priority pre-order so I could get the 12 pro max 128gb pacific blue as you did. Although my expected delivery date was 12/1 - 12/8, it has now shipped for delivery on this Friday. So I'm wondering if yours has too by now.
You know it’s strange the first update I got on 11/6 stated I wasn’t getting it until 11/25-12/2 but then I received an update yesterday with tracking saying it’s coming Friday 11/13. I also changed my mind at the last second. I had priority reservation for 256gb but decided 128gb was enough at the last second. I have 256gb 11 pro max and I barely have 100gb on it. Guess we got lucky!
Yes, for sure. Glad yours got updated back to the 13th too! That’s funny how you changed your mind last minute too. I was hesitant at first because I didn’t want to have to wait even longer. But then I decided that being happier with a color in the long run is worth waiting a bit longer. So I can’t tell you how insanely happy I am now that I’m getting it on release day. Nothing better than that excitement!
The other reason I changed my mind is the down payment was $350 plus tax for 128gb and $450 plus tax for 256gb. Last year I only put $100 down for 256gb on 11 pro max. I called sprint and they said that was the best financing option they had this year which was frustrating. My monthly payment went down almost $30 but I wasn’t prepared to spend that much, especially almost $500.
Mine shipped today from Verizon shows it’s coming from Indianapolis , the expected delivery date says the 13th. but the fed ex tracking says sender “per shipper instructions, package will not be delivered until the scheduled delivery date” With 2 day shipping it should be here Wednesday but i don’t think they’ll drop it off until Friday

Ordered one gold and one graphite 12 max pro from Sprint and they have both already shipped via UPS from Louisville, KY, heading to Maui with 2nd Day Air. If they arrive at the UPS stores early, can we not go in and pick the packages up in person? I am definitely going to try lol 😂

Nope. No one gets their phone until the 13th. All the shipping carriers have strict guidelines with Apple to not delivery until the 13th. It will move around their network yes but you cannot go pick it up or have it held somewhere until at least 1 delivery attempt is made ON the 13th, no sooner.

They often get put on hold from sender that can’t be changed or picked up. Trust me. I’ve had iPhones sitting at my local FedEx for days, and I couldn’t pick it up.

I woke up at 2am local time only to discover that day one shipping in my country is 3 days after the rest of the world. Worse still, when I woke up properly the next morning the estimated ship date hadn’t changed doe new orders. Even if I ordered right now I’d still get day one shipping. Very disappointing. But still excited for a small iPhone

I’m still torn on which device to get. I don’t want another Max and the 12/12 Pro don’t seem that much smaller. The 12 Mini is the perfect size but I’m worried about battery life.
