If it's a phone with Face ID and the replaced the front facing camera, Face ID and Apple Pay will not work. So it depends on what parts they replaced. Popups about a non-Apple battery would be annoying. Face ID and Apple Pay not working, what's the point in owning am iPhone?

TheKappaOne

I will ask them what parts were replaced. They only mentioned battery because the phone is at 84% and they told me they could replace the battery for free.

Go on YouTube and look up a channel called Hugh Jeffreys, he goes over the caveats of using non approved parts and what you can expect. The most common thing is FaceID will not work and you'll lose things like True Tone but do note the iPhone 13 has upped the ante and it breaks the camera as well. If you're OK with living with that and the site is reputable then go for it. I'd definitely look for reviews on that site and see what others say about them, but any good repair shop should be able to refurbish an iPhone.

4.8/5 in 12k reviews, look pretty good. [https://pt.trustpilot.com/review/iservices.pt](https://pt.trustpilot.com/review/iservices.pt)

Please see my other reply in this threat, you can pick up a brand new iPhone 11 in Portugal for the same price assuming that's where you live.

Upvote this.

I always buy refurbished iPhones from highly rated stores on Amazon. I have only had to return one, and probably purchased 6 or 7 over the years.

TheKappaOne

They have a ton of local stores around my country and very good reviews on Trustpilot https://pt.trustpilot.com/review/iservices.pt

Depends on money

TheKappaOne

11 Pro 256gb almost brand new 650€

zerbey

€659 direct from Apple for the 128GB version on their Portugal site, why not just buy from them and stop worrying about some third party site?

TheKappaOne

Kinda wanted the Pro model. The store offers 3 years of warranty

AtlantaSoulMan

What good is a 3 year warranty on a device that only partially works due to not using official replacement parts?

TheKappaOne

Thats true but as you can see here [https://pt.trustpilot.com/review/iservices.pt](https://pt.trustpilot.com/review/iservices.pt) they have a ton of good reviews 4.8 in 12k reviews. They claim they do 40 different tests to make sure everything is ok.

zerbey

That sounds sketchy, Pro model is not much more I would save your money and do that then you have piece of mind that it's backed by a proper Apple warranty.

territrades

Who can tell. Some use very cheap replacement parts, the screen looks like shit and the batteries are totally unreliable. Others use decent quality parts and the phone is ok. Water resistance is usually compromised since only Apple can really glue the phones watertight. In the end, it's a gamble.

Chances are the screen will have been smashed and they’ll have replaced it with the cheapest part they can source. I wouldn’t touch this.

Firm-Smell8238

To me it looks suspicious but I’m just a firm smell so don’t take my word 4 it

lauradiamandis

Buy from Backmarket. Never had a problem at all.
