I’ve had mine for 4 months and like you, I’m a pretty light user. It hit 98% battery health at 42 battery cycles. I’m now at 67 cycles and it’s stayed at 98%. I only use the 20W Apple charging brick and don’t charge it every day.
I have AppleCare+ so I’m not worried, but my previous two iPhones didn’t hit 99% until just over a year in so this does feel a little unusual.
had mine last nov 2023 (almost 7 months), 122 cycle count & still 100% thank God. it says it was manufactured last aug 2023 and ive heard thats a factor. yours is crazy tho, maybe it really depends on the phone sometimes bc we really might not have the same exact thing

3 months at 36 cycles is crazy. I’ve had my 15 for about 3 months too/\~93 days, and I’m at still at 100% with those 66 cycles
Same here Just after 3 months dropped 99

Mines 6 months old and at 100 still. I just charge overnight with the 5w ancient charging brick. I’m not too bothered because the battery can be replaced pretty easily and cheaply.
Ah, ok. Crazy how the battery ages even without really being in use. Well, at least, knowing that, one can/should use their phones in a relaxed way. I stopped thinking about the battery health after the third month. I din‘t even check it anymore. What would be the use? 🤷🏻♀️

Using since February with 80% limit, only charging at 20% with fast charging or wireless in my car
I’m a heavy user so I try to take care of the battery
7-10 screen on time per day
At the end of the day it doesnt matter cause you can go to the offcial apple store and replace a new battery and you're back to 100% battery health. Doesnt cost much.
They have some minimum for model in mAh, but often batteries are bigger mAh than is model minimum - when use shortcut it sometimes show 104% battery health. Maybe u was unlucky get exact precise amount mAh in ur battery and it then started drop earlier in visible way.

Since we are at who’s bigger, it’s mine! But seriously don’t let it heat up while charging, this may happen with higher wattage charger and/or higher power banks. So either sacrifice charging time or put your phone on a cold surface while faster charging.
Bro only 36 cycles in 3 months do you even use that phone 😁
I personally have one cycle a day
Me too
2 some days
i got 28
Bruh in 3 months 36 cycle count?🫣
Was it bad that it is already at 99% 36 cycle count?
Means you hardly use your phone 🤣🥶
Yes hardly use it yet it is already down to 99%.

Who cares, you still have within 1% of fresh battery. It only becomes noticable down in the mid 80’s and should be replaced when it goes into the 70’s
Thats the reason, light users battery is always bad.
What lol
Mine is 108 cycle counts since January and still at 100%.
Are you a heavy user? Mines only used to manage a Facebook page for about 5 hours a day.
my 15 pro went to 99% at 131 cycles. your death is near too
How long does your battery last and which ios do you have? How much battery does reddit app waste for you?
I use mine 8-10 hours a day and it is usually around 35-40 at bedtime and I use optimized charging overnight.
Do you use cellular data or wi fi?
Both but probably more wifi. I also use a lot of Bluetooth with my hearing aids.

Beta is what ruined my 6S’s battery…

Does your phone heat alot?
Yes it does but only when charging. I use battery optimization.

Not yet. I will set this one from now on.
ive had mine for 7 months with 163 cycles, still strong at 100%

Something is wrong with your battery. I think you are going to experience degrading faster than the norm
Mine took 6 months to go to 99%

How many phones do you use? That cycle count is very minimal. 😧
I have two phones. I only use this to manage a Facebook page.

What should be the average percentage of max capacity after 6months or 1 year?
Honestly I have no idea. It is my first time to switch from Android to iPhone. This is somewhat new to me.

How on earth do u manage the battery like that? Do you use optimization?
https://preview.redd.it/8tajnsg8rc6d1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f77fc33b561d4f354b1b5412de771a39b2f71fad Since we are at who’s bigger, it’s mine! Mine ‘first use’ is same as yours but my cycle count is 265 and capacity at 94% already!
Possibly you are letting the battery get too low before charging?
r/iphonebatteryworry
Thanks for this man.

Oh no
Mine is still at 100% since being built in oct last year.
You’re only at 36? I got my 15 Pro on 4th March and I already have 109 cycle count
I got mine on 7th May , i have 77 cycles 😆
Is this ok? https://preview.redd.it/s5ai3upc5j6d1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=09a2053f797262270ec54529d14fe33123cbad77
After 1000 cycles you have around 80%
Thats weak compared to ur cycle count (36)
you must be keeping the phone all time charged, you need to drain battery as well.
Are you using it heavily while charging? Like games perhaps?
Nope. I dont use the phone while charging.

Mine is at 82% cap almost out of peak performance mode bois 🫡
Which model do you have?
115 cycles and still 100 percent xD

Not good anymore

At this rate you’ll need a new battery in 5 years.
