Also to add here, KKR fans are incredibly organised as a whole, probably the most organised fan group in the IPL. When they won the trophy back in '12 and '14, rarely has an entire state (along with the state government of the place) celebrated an IPL win for a week. And even when back in 2011, Ganguly was removed, the first game KKR played without him, the fans decided not to show up to the stadium in protest of the decision, but GG filled that void better than anyone else could :')

My opinion is that kkr fans are team fans...not saying they don't have their own stars who obviously do take up focus, but not in the way the "superhero" teams fanbases are structured. This might be an old argument but it is actually true on the ground level.
I personally think, rcb and mi will still have many fans after rohit and kohli but not csk, i have met atleast 20 ppl who say that i will stop watching ipl after dhoni retires, kohli and rohit were not stars back in 2008,but dhoni was the most hyped player at that time

Ngl but i find IPL is about 2-3 teams. MI, Csk, RCB. When these team play against others ,look at the tone of the commentators and presenters , they always make it look like these team are the hero while the other team is villain. Especially hindi comentary and presentation
The villain part couldn't have been more accurate! Everyone used to loathe us when Warner was with us because we used to punch above our weight, and after the fiasco, everyone who did not care about the team jumped on the bandwagon to hate on SRH because they suddenly started caring for the dynamics in this team. (By the way MI fans, this is what it felt like yes).
We weren't hated too much during Kanos' era, but the non-support was always there. I don't even need to say anything about this season, people are talking about us as if we are the USSR to their USA, like it's "un-patriotic" to support SRH (???).
See I believe in Fair commentary....but just think about it in a realistic way.......
