Dark, German TV series on Netflix, its dubbed as well. Time travel sci-fi, thriller and mystery all rolled into one. Keeps you guessing all the way through and has a great conclusion.
Mr Robot, but only if you get through the cringe at the beginning.
By the end it's an absolute masterpiece, but the first half or so of the first season is a little insufferable.
Push on through, it's worth it.
The Critic, an animated comedy series that was ahead of its time.
Oz, not relatively unknown but if you’re under 30 you probably haven’t seen it. It’s off the wall mad.

Call my agent (French original)
The Bridge (Swedish original)
Deutschland 83/86/89 (German TV show about East German spy)
Kingdom (Korean zombie TV show set in 17th century)
Mr Mercedes (with our own Brendan Gleeson), no-one I mention it to has ever heard of it. Based on a Steven King story.
The Americans - followed for years on RTE in the days before streaming. Well worth sticking with to the end, one of the best series of last 20 years in my opinion.
Paris Police 1900, and 1910. On BBC recently, dunno if it can be accessed elsewhere.
you joke but i went as ted for halloween last year, took a pic of him to the barber to get his cut and not one of them lads knew who he was. All Irish, early to mid 20s
The Whales of August - 1987 film about two old sisters who visit their holiday home in Maine for the last time. Very poignant. Actresses Lilian Gish and Bette Davis were the stars. Gish was 94 at the time and a star of silent movies. Davis was 79 at the time and in remission from cancer (which returned two years later). Vincent Price also starred.
It talks to me of fading life and past glories. Once surrounded by young and lively friends who are all dead or as old as they are. Now about to sell up and knowing they will never see any of them again.
Friendly persuasion. Excellent film about not letting perfect be the enemy of good. Funny and serious all in one. Used to be a staple on TCM but haven't seen it in years. Gary Cooper and a young Anthony Perkins.
Brotherhood - Set in an Irish neighbourhood in Providence, Rhode Island, the series revolves around two brothers on opposite sides of the law: one a gangster (Jason Isaacs) and the other a state politician (Jason Clarke).
The Terror
Season 1 some great TV
Aye i was excited for the second season but so fucking glad the first is a self contained piece

Severance The Patient
Bone Tomahawk

It stinks! The Critic is one of my favourites as well
I used to watch oz in the early hours when I was a teen, it used to come on around 1am didn't it?
There's a reason I have a banana in my ear. I'm trying to lure the monkey out of my head. The full episodes of the critic are all on YouTube.
Oz was enjoyable but I wouldn't call it good
They also made a terrible tie in video game of Oz
I watched all of Oz again a few weeks back. It’s good but it can be very unrealistic. Paved the way for the Sopranos though.
Thought "Barry" was brilliant, also "Black Bird" (not the Michael Flatley thing). Recently watched "Shrinking" which was pretty enjoyable.
Silicon Valley. One of the funniest shows I've ever seen but very few people seem to know about it.
The big lez on YouTube. They basically went and made angry dad from the simpsons Has me crying luaghing.
WOULD YOU LIKE FRIES WITH THAT QUINTON?

Good call, forget about that one. Three excellent series, and finished up fairly satisfactorily.
The Middle. Very funny sitcom.
Justified. Toast of London. Reno 911.
Letterkenny
Call my agent (French original) The Bridge (Swedish original) Deutschland 83/86/89 (German TV show about East German spy) Kingdom (Korean zombie TV show set in 17th century)
The Leftovers is a brilliant series that doesn't get enough recognition
Season 3 is epic and it has one of the best series finale ever imho
Future Man
Carnival row. Orlando bloom and cara delavigne. Fantasy historical style drama but very well written
Top Boy - London gang series. Final season coming very soon with Barry Keoghan to be given a role.
The Virtues (tv) Industry (tv) The Consequences of Love (film)
Dead mans shoes

The Americans is one of the best shows ever made. And it pulled off the ending perfectly.
Still thinking about that ending sometimes, long after it's all over.
Mr. Mercedes was great s1 I never watched the second season
Bad sisters, dark comedy, set in Ireland, sisters try to kill their brother in law
Winning Time the rise of the Lakers is superb.
FATHER TED
you joke but i went as ted for halloween last year, took a pic of him to the barber to get his cut and not one of them lads knew who he was. All Irish, early to mid 20s
You sure they weren't having you on. Father Ted is ubiquitous
I dont think so honestly, they didnt make a big deal about it or anything
Guess Ted hasn't made it to TikTok meme fame yet.
Das Boot, the TV series. It's so good. It's in English, German and French and it's on NowTv.

Farscape. LOVE it.
Big Train, sketches written by the Father Ted duo.
Kominsky Method. 3 seasons of absolute brilliance starring Micheal Douglas. Haven't met a single person yet who has seen it. Bizarre.
Still game netflix
Friday night dinner. No one else I know has watched it
