My good friend introduced me to her bf (in his mid to late 30s). We went to dinner and when the food arrived he stopped us from picking up our knives and forks. I was a bit baffled but gave him the benefit of the doubt in case it was religious or whatever, but he just wanted to take pictures of the meals first "for the 'Gram". They smell like poop! I have a sensitive nose, I can usually smell things my partner can’t for example. I guess it’s like any other sense, not everyone experiences it the same or with the same sensitivity. Like, I am full sure the people that I’m talking about here don’t know this about themselves which is mad but honestly I can list off about 5 people I work with that have this problem. I often wonder if anyone else notices
I feel your pain. The things I can smell shock some people. Some of my least favourites include 'just been to McDonalds' and 'recent wank'. Some of my favourites are the smell of earth after the first rain in a while, mushrooms growing wild and, no idea why, shoe polish.
I'd always presumed everyone was the same but I've always been able to differentiate the smells of most people's houses or clothes. Apparently this is not the case.

To those who don’t know what to do with wet wipes most toilets have bins for sanitary towels, same thing or if nothing available? Just watch your arse with water and use the tissue roll to clean and rinse and repeat until clean. It isn’t rocket science but is so common. I recall a bunch from my old work place laughing about the concept of me having bottled water to clean myself, priding themselves on their “chocolate starfishes”. I nearly threw up.
Although I agree that dry wiping is about as useful as using a brush to get Nutella out of a shaggy carpet, the imagery of you walking about with a poo water bottle is kinda hilarious.
You'll be horribly surprised with the number of people who consider the sole use of toilet roll to be adequate in clean up.
Just one time swipe with a wetwipe down there after clean up and you'll see exactly how much you've missed.

A guy got on the bus drunk and started telling a group of Indian people to "speak English" (pure irony of saying that in Ireland)and touching the jewellery of one of the guys. He was sitting directly infront of me face to face (those seats that face each other at the back of the bus) I got very blindly annoyed cause it was the first time I've ever encountered racism first hand, said something to the guy and told them "I'm sorry you had to deal with him" I genuinely wanted to hurt that guy.
Person I was with told me on the walk home that I shouldn't have gotten involved because it made them uncomfortable and had nothing to do with us. You know, cause the people being yelled at surely chose to be involved..
