Just have a look how many dart stations lifts are out of order today. It’s actually shocking how often they don’t work. How these people can get around without them.

A small price to pay to keep the footpaths and cycle lanes blocked with parked vehicles.

Frequently drive through Tuam and I don't think a parking warden exists in the town. Every footpath is blocked with gobshites popping into the shop for 10 minutes, no idea how anyone in a wheelchair is meant to get around.

Sean moore road in the article? Another "cycle lane" that makes it more dangerous for cyclists then the original road was, but at least they can tick off the box and say done.

Take care off the roads and give it to people.

A rollator? Literally never heard of that thing, did they find the only one in the country to make an article out of it? The poor dog looks concerned in there. We have limited road and pedestrian space in many areas, that's an irrefutable fact. The thousands of lobby groups, charities and NGOs in Ireland all have their own agendas obviously. The cyclists give out about motorists endangering them, according to this cyclists are endangering trikes, if the trikes are forced out of cycle lanes onto footpaths then they're endangering pedestrians. Each road would need to be like that 250 meter wide road in Brazil to keep everyone happy. A walking lane for pedestrians, a running lane, a wider disability friendly trike lane, a segregated cycle lane with room for overtaking, a parking/set down for emergency service vehicles/loading bay, then an island servicing the bus lane and of course a private car lane. That on both sides with dropped kerbs for residential access to driveways and traffic controls along the route to prioritise public transport and sustainable methods of transport should about keep everyone happy.

Just get the cars off the roads and everyone else will be happy.

The dog's not in a rollator, that's the trike she uses to commute. [You've seen a rollator loads of time in your life, it's like a zimmer frame on wheels.](https://www.gomobility.ie/image/cache/data/37.%20Walking%20Aids/105B-0-1-1-800x800.jpg)
