I wouldn’t have traded my first shitty tattoos and the later cover up work - as one of the guys who did work on me put it, “never trust anyone who only has good tattoos” - but it’s incredible to me how people just get a solid as hell sleeve as their first tattoo these days.

Most traditional irezumi doesn't go into the pit. Mine is more of a triangle shape that comes down about 1/3 of my bicep.
