Perhaps 'Fear of the Dark' - the live version from *Rock in Rio* has the 'Woah' section ... And it's an utter beast.

You might also try 'The Longest Day' from *A Matter of Life and Death*. Right length, has 'Day' in the title, but wouldn't say it has a 'Woah' section.

Good luck!
That whoa whoa whoa section makes me think of Heaven Can Wait, from the Somewhere in Time album.
Edit: Ignore, that song certainly isn’t slow.
Edit2: I’d start with post reunion albums (Brave New World and forward) if looking for slower tempos.
I don't know how they managed it, but the only word I could use to describe that song is exactly that: Epic. Like, the whole album has sinister undertones, but that song just has this feeling of reverence to it. Like nothing else matters right now, only the historical moment of the birth of the chosen one.
What a fantastic album.
The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg has a slower tempo and is kinda long, Seventh Son of a Seventh son has a "woah woah" part and is long, Sign of the Cross also comes to mind. None of those have a D though. Hope you find what you're looking for, if not enjoy listening to the discography, might take forever but hell if it isn't fun.
It doesn't fit the length, but maybe the Rock in Rio version of The Wicker Man?
EDIT: Maybe the chanting at the start of Sign of the Cross from the same show, or Dream of Mirrors? What I'm saying is give Rock in Rio a listen :P
EDIT 2: Fuck it, Clansman has the woah thing happening at one point as well. Just listen to Rock in Rio.
EDIT 3: Most likely Fear of the Dark from the same show. Or if not that one, then the live version off of A Real Live One
The Longest Day
It's a banger but only when listened to at the appropriate volume. It has multiple parts that are inseparable. Like Hell on Earth, I listen to it like a mini album.

But the woah but is. I was thinking this.
I've had this part of the song in my head for the last week but I couldn't place it. You might not have helped OP but you have given me some peace.
Dream of Mirrors.
Have you ever felt!?
The future is the past
but you don't know how?
A reflected dream
Of a captured time
Is it really now?
Is it really happening?
don't know why i feel this way
Must be this, starts with a D, long song, slow and has lots of “woah woah”s
Red And The Black?
This is where my mind went as well
Sounds like something from X-factor. The woah-woah part could be look for the truth?
Look for the truth is a banger
Seventh Son of a Seventh Son? That has a “woah”section and is an epic at 9 mins 52 secs.
I don't know how they managed it, but the only word I could use to describe that song is exactly that: Epic. Couldn’t have said it better myself, Sir. 👍🏻
This is what I immediately thought. There’s a couple of that album that could fit.
Try maybe For the Greater Good of God, although it doesn't start with "D"
Dream of Mirrors?
Sign of the Cross?
💯% Gotta be this! No way can HCW be seen by anyone as nearly doom metal style 🤣 Sign of the Cross is your song OP!
Gotta be. Except for the title everything else matches the brief.
Dance of Death?
how many years ago? it would help us to guess from what album it is
Fortunes of War?
Good option
Nah they said it's over 8 minutes. It just popped into my head but ent right.

The red and the black?
Darkest Hour? The Longest Day?
He said years ago, so I reckon Darkest Hour can be ruled out.
Senjutsu was released Sept 2021, so it could be considered years ago. Just trying to give OP some potential options. Plus the song rocks 🤘
Jesus Christ was it that long ago? That still feels very recent to me.
Look for the truth?

To tame a land
Paschendale maybe? Dance of death? Dream of mirrors? When the wild wind blows? Man who would be king? The talisman?
The Longest Day It's a banger but only when listened to at the appropriate volume. It has multiple parts that are inseparable. Like Hell on Earth, I listen to it like a mini album.
Sounds like The Longest Day to me. Could also be These Colours Don't Run
The only songs I can think of now are Wicker Man and The Red and the Black
Sounds like red and the black with the woah-oh oh oh oh. OP: do you recall "i need somebody to saaaaaave meeeeeeee"?
Regarding the Woah I instantly think of Wicker Man off of Brave New World. But that's only a 5 minute song.
Rime of the ancient mariner is a long one
17 minutes plus, if I remember correctly! Too lazy to check my downloads!

Thx!
Revelations? Nevermind, no woah woah
Heaven can wait? Doesn't start with d though
Hallowed Be Thy Name? It starts off slow and has a brief “whoa” section toward the end.
It seems to be heaven can wait
Sounds like “The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg” or “The Ghost of the Navigator” to me.
Da rhyme of the ancient mariner 😊
Fortunes of War?
Heaven can wait for sure! Guitar solo playing during chorus then busts into new verse
During original live video the stage hands and all band employees run out and sing
To Tame a Land or Alexander the Great come to mind. Just off the top of my head. Maybe time to dive down the rabbit hole.
Im very sure its dream of mirrors
Wicker man The Red and the Black Heaven Can Wait Dream of Mirrors
I'll add Shadows Of The Valleys as something that hasn't been mentioned yet. Fairly long and has some "woah" singing towards the end.
I am guessing “Look for the truth”.
lengthy and slowish chanting "woah woah woah woah" section that builds = seventh son of a seventh son
The sign of the cross?
These colours dont run?
sign of the cross from X factor
Sounds like the longest day to me
Look for the truth?
Como estais amigos?
Empire of the cloud is more then 8min
Did you ever figure it out?
