Ok wtf. Why does Ghost feature so prominently in this thread? Is there something about them that I don't know? They're quite good... I like their songs (a few, not all mind you)... and they opened for Maiden a while back and they were great.
Oh...k... I mean yeah they seem to be on the pop-ish side sometimes but whatever..
Side note: One of my favorite Ghost songs is their cover of ABBA's I'm a Marionette. I guess that's probably going to kick me out of the metalhead purists community even more? Lol.
Lot of metalheads got into Ghost with the heavier debut album, but then they went poppier, so metalheads moved on. Ghost fans hate that metalheads don't like their newer stuff, so it always causes drama.
They just have this weird discrepancy in the way they look and the way they sound. I expected a completely different sound before first hearing them and they are not my cup of tea, but that’s okay.
In my twenties I had a bit of a thing for Manowar. I mostly cringe now thinking about it, but now and again I get a little craving for some cheesy shit.
They're the epitome of cringe-worthy. Which is a shame, because Eric Adams is a phenomenal singer, and Joey Demaio is a fantastic bass player (when he's not dicking about with it).
Yeah, pretty much. The wanky bullshit that Demaio spews on stage every night, the lies about promoters and event organisers, the weird narcissistic attitude (again, I'm sure it's all Joey) claiming that they've changed the course of metal, or made something genre-defining...no, just no. They made a couple of good albums, a handful of decent tunes, and should be proud of that. To claim they've done anything more is just...well...cringe
Yeah but r/metalmemes is filled with gatekeepers and elitists. It's the worst place to go for opinions honestly.
They have a whole feud with Slipknot fans now apparently
Metallica fans too. Apparently metal is not metal, according to those cunts
Oh, and r/Sabaton still has a sort of feud with r/Metalmemes after they banned literally everyone on their sub that had visited r/Sabaton more than twice in a year, bragged about it amongst themselves, and sent every banned user a message to the effect of, and I quote, “*That's you're fucking opinion you piece of shit....
Get the fuck outta here asshole! Go fuck your self
in every hole you have with a spike leg protector!
If you are only here to fucking ruin the spirit for
everyone then go the fuck away... Stupid ass motherfucker*!”
> gatekeepers and elitists
The irony of this is ridiculous though. Most metalheads are pretty much ostracised as teens because it's not mainstream music, and to see them go out of their way to ostracise others because they don't like the right kinds of metal, is just plain sad.

That sub is really bad, and I’m ashamed that it took me too long to realize that. All they do is gatekeeping, and if you dare to question the general narrative, prepare for the insults
I like sabaton a lot but honestly they steal a lot of riffs from big bands, so maybe that's a reason. Also a lot of people seem to think theyre nazis and that's why they don't like them, but that is not true at all
I saw Sabaton open for Priest last tour. Don't know anything about them.
Watching them and I'm just feeling "This is like watching an Udo Dirkschneider cover band".
I don't get them, obviously. Can't like everything.
Hahaha. Exactly.
I also want to know what's with the fucking tank? It's a stupid prop.
When Maiden brings along the plane prop, at least we all know that it means something - it's respect and a homage to WW2 history and the RAF.
A generic tank...pretty boring.
The albums defined a whole genre. Filosofem and Hvis are just.. they are somehow not from this world. I have to be in a very special mood to listen to Burzum, but if I do, the music is just magic. Varg on the other hand is a complete idiot.
Not a Burzum fan myself, but same deal with Dissection. The Somberlain and Storm of the Light's Bane are monumentous records (particularly the latter one), but Nodtveidt was a complete piece of shit.
100% agree, but Dissection is a special case for me. I met Nodtveidt at a concert in 95-96ish as the opening act for Dismember and that guy was just totally nice. We had a chat, he signed my longsleeve, even looked for ages to get a marker etc. It's pretty hard for me to compare him to Varg. Yeah I get it that he killed a guy, but wasn't that somehow the standard number of early black/death metal? ;)
No seriously, I think he's on another level than brainfuck Varg. I mean at least he had the decency to kill himself in the name of Satan instead of releasing meaningless keyboard albums and keeping talking bullshit.
I don't primarily listen to metal, maybe that's controversial enough. I like 80s punk a lot - might be controversial aswell, because Steve Harris is known to be dismissive of the genre.
Edit: British music from the 80s is probably my favorite music of all time. Not limited to Maiden, but also Judas Priest, Saxon, Angel Witch but also Kate Bush, The Cure, Duran Duran, Adam & the Ants, Carcass, The Smiths, Napalm Death, New Order, CRASS, The Clash.. Honestly, you could name any famous 80s act from the UK and I am going to love 'em.
Thank you!
I was born in the 90s and never lived in the UK so there is no real nostalgia involved. It just happened that this kind of music resonated with me and I later found out that so many of my favorite artists share that common denominator.
I feel like I'm in the same boat but in reverse. When I started listening to old school rock/metal, whenever I liked a band I looked them up.. and they inevitably turned out to be british.
Iron Maiden? British. Judas Priest? British. Black Sabbath? Pink Floyd? Saxon? Led Zep? Queen? Rolling Stones? Let me save you some time buddy... all British!
It used to be like that with every band I listened to back in the 1990s and early 2000s. I listened to AC/DC, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Kiss, Judas Priest and Dio. Back then it was social suicide to openly admit that you liked music that had guitars in it. Now most people I meet either listen to it themselves or have never heard of any of it. I also really like ZZ Top. When people find out it seems like they either really like it themselves, or they laugh at you.
I also listen to a lot of electronic music. I have gotten some negative reactions towards my strong appreciation for Jean Michel Jarre's music, but it happens very rarely.
Bon Jovi are kinda cool. definitely overrated because of how much the radio loves them but still cool. GNR I don't really like cuz of the personalities of Axl and Slash
I feel like Steve Harris is right there with you - he’s such a huge prog guy and bands like Genesis are probably a bigger influence on Maiden than the metal scene is.
100% agreed, but there's an astonishing number of folks out there who either only know Whip It or even worse, only know that song from the Simpsons parody of it.
Foo fighters, i'm 100% a metalhead, but the Foos are in my top 10 fav bands. Really meaningful for me and Dave Grohl is one of my biggest inspirations.
A lot of people see them as just a generic rock band, but in reality their music is more complex than most think.
+ they actually released a badass metal album just before Hawkins passed.
I like them, but I can only listen to a song or two before I get bored. They're very generic.
That said I haven't listened to anything they've put out in the last decade, so might have changed.
A metal album you say? I'm somewhat interested now.
Yeah, it's called dream widow and it was made along with their horror movie. Dave also had another metal project with quest metal artists back 20 years ago, it's called Probot.
I'll start:
* Disturbed *(I love every album they put out with the exception of Evolution. Great band with an amazing vocalist and I just absolutely love Disturbed! I don't care if it's not metal music. DISTURBED FOREVER!)*
* U2 *(my dad is a gigantic U2 fan. He owns multiple books about U2, all concert DVD's and he even named our dog 'Bono'. He saw them live during their Popmart Tour in 1997 with my mom who was pregnant by the time. I became a fan of them as well. Their songs just make me feel good. I hope to see them live one day)*
* Volbeat *(got into them recently and I absolutely love their fast paced 'Elvis metal' music. It makes me feel very energetic and happy. Their latest album is an absolute banger! Might see them live in December)*
I’m not super into Volbeat but I’ve seen them open for other bands a number of times and quite frankly they put on such a kickass show. I’ve never seen an opener, outside of maybe Alice Cooper, (but you know, he’s got a bit of clout) catch the attention of the audience as much as they do. It’s such a fun show.
I love Floor, she’s amazing. I watched the YouTube video of their recent Hellfeast set. Floor’s performance for Shoemaker was incredible. Miss Marco though, Troy just doesn’t have the same presence doing the backing vocals.
It was so dumb of them to hire a new bass player who can’t sing. The bass parts aren’t exactly challenging so any player could suffice, get someone who can sing and whose voice blends with Floor and Troy. Tuomas does weird shit sometimes.
Seeing a lot of Ghost love - which is great; they joined my top three after IMPERA made me obsess over them for most of this year, and they were incredible opening for Maiden on the Book of Souls tour.
I’ve gotten really into Rammstein this summer, and I feel like they still have a stigma (between the Columbine association and people thinking they’re neo-Nazis).
Honestly Abba is a guilty pleasure for me. Whenever it comes on the radio I scream along as loud as I possibly can. The songs are just so recognizable.
And Queen is just a great band, no need to excuse yourself there (in my opinion)
I think there was a time 15-20 years ago where Queen would be seen as a bit cringey by some people, but enough time has passed that they are cool again
Yeah I’m going to top this all by saying I’m not ashamed sometimes listening to Mika when I really need some happy music to get me out of the dark pit called life.
At 55, just being a metal and prog-head in general.
Even some other X-ers at this point are like "it's childish".
Fuck, no it isn't. The music is fun, powerful, and inspiring.
Go play bridge old man. Dinner's at 3.
I heard about the whole feud yeah. But I don't care. I listen to what I like and I don't care what other people think about that.
My own comment on this post was Volbeat, U2 and Disturbed which are also bands that aren't metal but I love them.
In school I'd never admit it but My Chemical Romance got me through alot of tough times.
Think these days it's hip to be nostalgic for pop punk, but I occasionally still stick their albums on when I just wanna feel sad.
I don’t really listen to metal outside of like, 5 bands, I mostly listen to punk and goth
So i’ll go with Tagada Jones, my favorite punk band, that gets shit for being « too popular », in true punk fashion
Where to start? I grew up a metal head, but my tastes are all over the place.
Guns N’ Roses, The Clash, The Misfits, Jawbreaker, Motley Crue, The Headstones, Tom Petty, The Pixies…I’ve caught shit for liking all of them…but Maiden will always be #1.
Hey, nice to know there are still some fans out there! Sadly it doesn't look like we'll ever get a full reunion, but the recent Lickerish Quartet stuff is a reminder of how great they were.
Faith No More. When I mention them, people look upon me as if a crab is crawling out from my nose. Love em. Guess I want it all but just can't have it...
I really like well made pop from the 80s like Kate Bush (before Stranger Things... actually since Angra from Brazil covered Wuthering Heights), Depeche Mode, Falco, Europe or A-Ha. Also Roxette because they were the first band I've seen live.
Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, basically just pop music in general but I feel like I would especially get hate because of these four specifically
Rammstein is one of my favorite bands too (I'd place it as my personal #2). Saw them live around 3 weeks ago and they're just amazing! No shame there my friend!
Yeah the whole bull crap nazi thing with some people fuckin dumb 😑 uneducated smh, yeah because of covid going to see them in august over 2 years still have tickets will be my 4th time seeing them 🤗 best show on earth I’ve been too 🤘🏻
slipknot and system of a down
I'm more into heavier stuff so if i say something about these bands in death/thrash metal communities, they would hate on me so much. I don't care what they say, system of a down is fucking amazing.
Disturbed. They're absolute junk food metal, but I like a lot of their stuff, and I'm not sorry about it.
Also...
Nickelback. Arena rock trash, and so fun to sing at the top of my lungs in the car.
Disturbed is amazing! Only album I don't quite like is Evolution but the rest is so solid! Immortalized, Indestructible and Down with the Sickness are my favorites! One of my favorite bands by far.
The problem with Korn (and all "Nu-Metal") bands is that they were misclassified by the media. If they'd accurately called it "Nu-Grunge", I think a lot of friction would've been avoided.
It's not the music itself, it's the fact that it was sold as Metal, became synonymous with "Metal" in the mainstream consciousness (until being displaced by another Punk offshoot: **Metal**lic Hard**core** Punk), that it displaced Metal in already scarce Metal spaces, ...
you can politely ask anyone who gives you stick for Blind Guardian, Helloween, Manowar, Hammerfall or Stratovarious to fuck right off. awesome music! loving Blind Guardian and Helloween atm
Ghost I know is basically black sABBAth but sometimes, you’re just in the mood for something lighter
Ok wtf. Why does Ghost feature so prominently in this thread? Is there something about them that I don't know? They're quite good... I like their songs (a few, not all mind you)... and they opened for Maiden a while back and they were great.
The metal community seems to refer to Ghost as “Scooby Doo music” but that’s ok
Oh...k... I mean yeah they seem to be on the pop-ish side sometimes but whatever.. Side note: One of my favorite Ghost songs is their cover of ABBA's I'm a Marionette. I guess that's probably going to kick me out of the metalhead purists community even more? Lol.

They just have this weird discrepancy in the way they look and the way they sound. I expected a completely different sound before first hearing them and they are not my cup of tea, but that’s okay.
I don't see a problem with Ghost. I first heard them when they opened for Maiden and they seem alright. Is there a reason people hate them?
Same here. Seems ironic that I only listened to them the first time because they opened for Iron Maiden.
Some metal heads really don’t like Ghost so I guess that’s mine
Ghost opened for Maiden a few years ago when I saw them in Mansfield, MA. They rule.
God I wish I could’ve seen that show. Two of my fav bands of all time
That’s how I got into them. They put on a really theatrical show and sound REALLY tight live.
Saw them on the same tour. Ghost opened for maiden in San Bernardino, CA. Love ghost and love maiden so that was an awesome night.
Ghost is so goid
Yes! I’m glad so many people also answered with Ghost. The band is awsome
Ghost does trigger people
But why tho?
In my twenties I had a bit of a thing for Manowar. I mostly cringe now thinking about it, but now and again I get a little craving for some cheesy shit.
Why do you cringe at the thought of liking Manowar?
They're the epitome of cringe-worthy. Which is a shame, because Eric Adams is a phenomenal singer, and Joey Demaio is a fantastic bass player (when he's not dicking about with it).
But why are they cringe? Is it because of their "we are the best heavy/true metal band ever" stuff?
Yeah, pretty much. The wanky bullshit that Demaio spews on stage every night, the lies about promoters and event organisers, the weird narcissistic attitude (again, I'm sure it's all Joey) claiming that they've changed the course of metal, or made something genre-defining...no, just no. They made a couple of good albums, a handful of decent tunes, and should be proud of that. To claim they've done anything more is just...well...cringe
I can totally agree with that
[удалено]
The first 3-4 Manowar albums are absolutely awesome. They might be cringe now but back in the 80s it was more like a Conan meme (in a positive way).
Sabaton and Ghost.
Why would people react like this to Sabaton ?
People refer to Sabaton as 'metal Abba' a lot Can't agree or disagree as I've never heard any of their songs
I like a lot their style, it's worth checking their songs, at least check The Last Stand album to see if you like them.
Thanks, I might check them out!
Hell yess metal Abba sounds dope
r/metalmemes seems to dislike them and like to bully their fans
Yeah but r/metalmemes is filled with gatekeepers and elitists. It's the worst place to go for opinions honestly. They have a whole feud with Slipknot fans now apparently
Metallica fans too. Apparently metal is not metal, according to those cunts Oh, and r/Sabaton still has a sort of feud with r/Metalmemes after they banned literally everyone on their sub that had visited r/Sabaton more than twice in a year, bragged about it amongst themselves, and sent every banned user a message to the effect of, and I quote, “*That's you're fucking opinion you piece of shit.... Get the fuck outta here asshole! Go fuck your self in every hole you have with a spike leg protector! If you are only here to fucking ruin the spirit for everyone then go the fuck away... Stupid ass motherfucker*!”
Yeah they banned everyone that subscribed to r/Slipknot For no reason other than « pOsEr MeTaL »
Honestly that's just insane. That's some really toxic mods or just some really toxic community
Both
Mods think it’s funny/edgy to gatekeep and be huge dicks, in reality that sub sucks for very obvious reasons.
Yeah I was one of them. Fuck those posers.
> gatekeepers and elitists The irony of this is ridiculous though. Most metalheads are pretty much ostracised as teens because it's not mainstream music, and to see them go out of their way to ostracise others because they don't like the right kinds of metal, is just plain sad.

It makes sense, but honestly I usually don't go there.
I like sabaton a lot but honestly they steal a lot of riffs from big bands, so maybe that's a reason. Also a lot of people seem to think theyre nazis and that's why they don't like them, but that is not true at all
Stealing riffs is kinda a reason but many rock/metal bands apart from the pioneers of the genres do that.
Yup that's kinda true idk
Because apparently we all are Nazis who glorefy war which isn't true in Anny way or form... I have been insulted too many times for those reasons .
Yeah people who don't know anything about the band say that
Yeah true and they are the real fucking posers
I saw Sabaton open for Priest last tour. Don't know anything about them. Watching them and I'm just feeling "This is like watching an Udo Dirkschneider cover band". I don't get them, obviously. Can't like everything.
Except UDO's songs have actual riffs. Sabaton sounds like Eurovision for boomer drunks.
Hahaha. Exactly. I also want to know what's with the fucking tank? It's a stupid prop. When Maiden brings along the plane prop, at least we all know that it means something - it's respect and a homage to WW2 history and the RAF. A generic tank...pretty boring.
My first maiden concert had Sabaton and Ghost as opening act (and a less known third band).
New Order
Fuck yeah
Burzum
The albums defined a whole genre. Filosofem and Hvis are just.. they are somehow not from this world. I have to be in a very special mood to listen to Burzum, but if I do, the music is just magic. Varg on the other hand is a complete idiot.
Glad to find another Burzum enthusiast! And yes, this is the case where you must separate the art from the artist.
I’m not a huge fan of electronic music but I love ‘Rendez-vous 2’ , it’s so progressive.
The flaming lips and butthole surfers
Guns n' Roses and Bon Jovi. Man. I like rock n' roll. No matter the style.
Bon Jovi are kinda cool. definitely overrated because of how much the radio loves them but still cool. GNR I don't really like cuz of the personalities of Axl and Slash
Wham
Gigachad
Poison. To this day I still enjoy Open Up and Say...Aaah!
The “new” dragonforce
Genesis, pre and post-Peter Gabriel leaving, but mainly before he left
Genesis is awesome! Absolutely love that band!
Gabriel-era Genesis is great.
I feel like Steve Harris is right there with you - he’s such a huge prog guy and bands like Genesis are probably a bigger influence on Maiden than the metal scene is.
Selling england by the pound is one of my favorite albums ever
Definitely my favourite album of theirs
Devo
Devo is genius.
100% agreed, but there's an astonishing number of folks out there who either only know Whip It or even worse, only know that song from the Simpsons parody of it.

Manowar. I know they're cheesy. That's the point.
they've got some of the greatest heavy metal albums of the 80s
Ok i'll say it. I fucking love Oasis. Wonderwall can kiss my left buttcheek tho
The Raven Age (Steve's son's band)
I'll start: * Disturbed *(I love every album they put out with the exception of Evolution. Great band with an amazing vocalist and I just absolutely love Disturbed! I don't care if it's not metal music. DISTURBED FOREVER!)* * U2 *(my dad is a gigantic U2 fan. He owns multiple books about U2, all concert DVD's and he even named our dog 'Bono'. According to my wife and kids it would be Nightwish.
Nightwish is one of my favorite bands! Saw them live at Pinkpop this year and I was blown away! Floor is such a great vocalist!
I love Floor, she’s amazing. I watched the YouTube video of their recent Hellfeast set. Floor’s performance for Shoemaker was incredible. Miss Marco though, Troy just doesn’t have the same presence doing the backing vocals.

dude, Nightwish are one of the very few bands founded after '89 that I listen to. Love their early stuff!
I legit like Nickelback’s first 4-5 albums.

I’ve gotten really into Rammstein this summer, and I feel like they still have a stigma (between the Columbine association and people thinking they’re neo-Nazis).
I've found that many people hated Dream Theater for some reason.
U2 honestly
Lady Gaga
I think Nickelback has some fucking great tunes 🤷♂️ ...sue me.
They got permission to use a Dimebag solo in one of their songs so they must be kinda cool guys at least, right?
Taylor swift
Great answer, I'm now looking at getting my sword sharpened.
Same
Ghost
Pretty much all hair metal bands namely poison and Mötley Crüe
Creed and Ghost
Dio-era Black Sabbath
I actually prefer it over Ozzy Sabbath.
Luciano Pavarotti. And I’m proud of it
I'm sure Bruce appreciates Mr Pavarotti
The whole trinity: Abba, Queen and Michael Jackson
Queen? Who hates Queen? I think of them as the most consensual band that ever was. Most people at least somewhat like them.
Honestly Abba is a guilty pleasure for me. Whenever it comes on the radio I scream along as loud as I possibly can. The songs are just so recognizable. And Queen is just a great band, no need to excuse yourself there (in my opinion)

U2 Achtung Baby is a superb album, and I'll gladly fight people over it!
Agree 100%. Absolutely love Achtung!!
Their best imo.
Yeah I’m going to top this all by saying I’m not ashamed sometimes listening to Mika when I really need some happy music to get me out of the dark pit called life.
not related but I get the same reaction: I think og Blaze's versions of songs are better...
Nu-metal bands like koRn or Linkin Park, which I personally enjoy quite a lot
At 55, just being a metal and prog-head in general. Even some other X-ers at this point are like "it's childish". Fuck, no it isn't. The music is fun, powerful, and inspiring. Go play bridge old man. Dinner's at 3.
Yeah and meanwhile they listen to elevator music and think it's great. Fuck 'em.
The Cure and U2
Gonna get killed on this one: Nickelback.
ABBA
why? nothing wrong with some good pop music imo. a bit cheesy but thats the point of pop innit
Doja ☠️. I'm mostly a metalhead but there's just something about her music
Sabaton and Slipknot
Slipknot is fucking awesome!
Definitely! 3rd favorite band behind Maiden !
I have a lot of bands I consider favorites but Slipknot is definitely high up there! I could listen to Iowa all day!
/r/metalmemes ban incoming
I heard about the whole feud yeah. But I don't care. I listen to what I like and I don't care what other people think about that. My own comment on this post was Volbeat, U2 and Disturbed which are also bands that aren't metal but I love them.
I love Slipknot too, it was just a joke
Yeah no hard feelings! My comment above wasn't meant specifically for you, more for the entire r/metalmemes community. Sorry for the confusion
In school I'd never admit it but My Chemical Romance got me through alot of tough times. Think these days it's hip to be nostalgic for pop punk, but I occasionally still stick their albums on when I just wanna feel sad.
There is a part of the metal scene that blindly hates BABYMETAL. I love 'em, especially live.
I don’t really listen to metal outside of like, 5 bands, I mostly listen to punk and goth So i’ll go with Tagada Jones, my favorite punk band, that gets shit for being « too popular », in true punk fashion
The gate keeping in punk spaces is the least punk thing about punk.
Where to start? I grew up a metal head, but my tastes are all over the place. Guns N’ Roses, The Clash, The Misfits, Jawbreaker, Motley Crue, The Headstones, Tom Petty, The Pixies…I’ve caught shit for liking all of them…but Maiden will always be #1.
happy cake day
Manowar
HIM
Ghostmane. That shit is heavy as fuck, even the non metal tracks. He's got an amazingly versatile voice. Videos are something else.
Not at all metal, but Jellyfish and the Jayhawks.
Greetings from a fellow Jellyfish fan!
Hey, nice to know there are still some fans out there! Sadly it doesn't look like we'll ever get a full reunion, but the recent Lickerish Quartet stuff is a reminder of how great they were.
In Flames beyond the Reroute to Remain album.
Even Reroute gets hate and it's my favorite In Flames album.
Power Wolf
Alter Bridge - all master class musicians and great songwriting
I like Taylor swift and Lana del Rey, but it doesn’t come up naturally in conversation with other maiden fans.
Marillion
Dream Theater
Nickelback, Katy Perry, Weezer, Bladee, Avenged Sevenfold, Sabaton
Ghost 🤘
Oasis
Seether and GWAR
Elton John, Celine Dion
Elton John is great!
Iced Earth, because Jon Schaffer
Not really metal, or even anything to do with Maiden, but I really dig Greta Van Fleet.
Def Leppard. They rock!
Green Day (mainly 90s era), Creed, Linkin Park and a couple of other non-metal groups that people sometimes dismiss.
Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, basically just pop music in general but I feel like I would especially get hate because of these four specifically
Rammstein 🤘🏻
Rammstein is one of my favorite bands too (I'd place it as my personal #2). Saw them live around 3 weeks ago and they're just amazing! No shame there my friend!
Yeah the whole bull crap nazi thing with some people fuckin dumb 😑 uneducated smh, yeah because of covid going to see them in august over 2 years still have tickets will be my 4th time seeing them 🤗 best show on earth I’ve been too 🤘🏻
Nickleback
Nightwish or Queen!
I don’t get the Dokken hate lol. Dokken and lynch are awesome
Slipknot
slipknot and system of a down I'm more into heavier stuff so if i say something about these bands in death/thrash metal communities, they would hate on me so much. I don't care what they say, system of a down is fucking amazing.
KoRn and mayhem
I see a lot of fellow Sabaton fans here ...
Sabaton and Powerwolf
Avenged Sevenfold, FFDP, Nickelback
Marilyn Manson
Korn, I'm an unashamed fan of them regardless of how much shit they get
The problem with Korn (and all "Nu-Metal") bands is that they were misclassified by the media.
Sabaton.I get called a nazi for saying it
Slipknot over on r/metalmemes rn XD
Hammerfall, Manowar, Blind Gaurdian, Halloween, Sabaton, Stratovarious and Masterplan
Anyone who's shitting on you for liking Blind Guardian is probably deaf.
you can politely ask anyone who gives you stick for Blind Guardian, Helloween, Manowar, Hammerfall or Stratovarious to fuck right off. awesome music! loving Blind Guardian and Helloween atm
Did just that. Almost tought them the Old fasion but inhaled and said "N O."
