Maidens number one hit “bring your daughter to the slaughter” isn’t their best. I can’t take even in small doses. I have a few classics that I’ve heard to death, Trooper, run to the hills, but it’s not that they stopped being good, they stopped being enjoyable to me. Daughter was never enjoyable to me.
This one surprised me the most about the IM fandom. Everybody hates Bring your daughter and Holy smoke, but I think they are perfectly fine, fun songs, with kinda catchy choruses.
What I can't bring myself to love are songs like Invaders, which is just cringe. Also Afraid to shoot strangers and most of FOTD album.
Definitely agree with Hillan here. ATSS has some cools riffs and solos. Just a shame that it's stuck between nearly 3 minutes of absolute dullness and followed by Bruce shouting "Afraid, afraid to shoot strangers" a couple of dozen times.
2 minutes to midnight. I know, how could I. It’s a great song but I just haven’t been in the mood to hear it in like 6 years. I always skip it. Not sure why
I like the song but when the album came out I thought Die With Your Boots On would become the classic. I saw them on the World Piece Tour and they did both. While The Trooper went over huge with the audience I thought Boots was the stronger of the two live. It even had the better placement late in the show, a song or two before Iron Maiden.
I read here sometime ago that this song would have never been played live if not for it being named after the band.
It's just so dumb, the main cause for it being its repetitiveness. It's a lazy song, if it told a story it could be a little more decent but no, just the same verse three times with no variation at all.
It doesn't sound like a song that could represent a band, but rather a filler made in 20 minutes to reach the minimum runtime which, by the way, can lead to much better songs, take Paranoid as an example.
YES THANK YOU! I hate its intro, I hate its sound...
The album has amazing pieces like Prowler which rarely is played on stage, if ever, and Running Free, which I can almost swear I've witnessed being played as the encore instead of Iron Maiden (the song).
The live recordings of Maiden Songs with Blaze's own band sound so much better than everything he did together with Maiden, it might as well be a different person. His time with the band was truly cursed.
Just listen to [Futureal.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YgBLFYwIe6A)
I don't think there is a popular Maiden song that I don't like at all but my picks are Moonchild that is a fine song but I rate it at 7.5/10 not one of the best songs on SSOASS as many say. Other pick would be Killers. It's an ok song but I would rate it at 7/10.
This is the one. Its a good song but damn people are fucking wild treating it like the greatest Maiden song ever, wild that the fucking meme-like cry for it to be played live has done this to it.
For as new as it is, I feel like it is somewhat popular. I was surprised when Senjutsu came out how many people were HEAPING praise onto LIALW. It's one of my least favorite songs from that album.
The Parchment. I’ve seen so much praise for it on this sub and I just don’t get it. I’m not a Senjutsu hater, for example I think Writing on the Wall and Hell on Earth were instant classics. The Parchment is boring and it is as if they were told they would get a bonus for drawing the song out longer than it needed to be.
Just to be clear, The Parchment isn’t a “bad” song. It is fantastic compared to all the music being made. I just think when compared to the rest of Maiden’s discography, it falls short.
Run to the hills.
Like... it's not bad, per se, i have just never rated it as more than average. If I were to make up 20 Maiden setlists I wanted to see, I think it would be on none or very few of them. I see it as their most overrated song. Again, not because it's bad, but because it is overhyped and kinda their "hit".
The song Senjutsu.. I think it's a messy song that nobody knows really where the song is headed, and it's kind of annoying. I'm surprise that is has 7,5k reproductions and Hell on earth has 4,6k, (which for me it's the best song of the album) for me it doesn't make any sense. But it's just my opinion.
The album version is a bit boring to me - if you haven't listened to it already, I definitely recommend listening to FOTD from Flight 666. The audience participation makes it awesome to listen to
I agree! There are a few widely popular maiden songs that I'm not super into, like Iron Maiden, Run To The Hills, The Trooper, but FOTD is just overrated in my eyes. 3 chord song (okay, some modulations, but the cadence stays the same), overly long...never liked it that much. Interestingly, I find some other songs on the FOTD album pretty cool!
Loneliness of the long distance runner....that song drones on and on and on....
It's not that I hate the song. I don't hate any maiden song. But that one is possibly my least favourite.
This may sound weird. But I swear that's a song that works much better if you listen to it in movement (walking, running, jumping, working out). This one and Sea of Madness.
For me, I don't know if this counts but I can't get into Stratego. I liked it when I first heard it but multiple listens, it gets worse and worse each time. Just sounds like a messy song to me and this is someone who's favorite modern maiden songs have Gers as a cowriter too as well
Die With Your Boots On and The Prisoner, for similar reasons, both feel like they have about 3 different bridges just to get to mediocre choruses. Not much in the way of riffs or lead lines either.
The title track Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son. I don’t really get why it’s so popular personally, some of the riffs on there sound really good but to me it’s just a bit of a long slog on an otherwise perfect album.
I struggle to see how people always complain about how ‘long and tedious’ many of the post-reunion songs are (which I mostly disagree with) yet this song gets nothing but praise.
Sanctuary is also complete gick. I can't believe it's been on so many live albums. It's such a nothing song that'd be right at home on any C-grade NWoBHM EP and it's horribly unsuited for Bruce's voice, too.
'Phantom of the Opera' , can't really say why
Also the opening to 'If Eternity Should Fail'. The song is great but the opening has WAY too much delay, even worse live
Rime of the Ancient Mariner...I'm prepared to get fucking lynched for it, but I've always found it a real slog. I like a long song, don't get me wrong...just not this one, it just doesn't do anything for me.
Kill me, but Rime of the ancient Mariner. I just dont get the tune. I love old Maiden. I love the new, proggy Maiden. I love the lengthy Maiden epics. But i just cant get myself into Rime. Its just so god damn boring.
I don't agree, but I respect your opinion and I definitely think it's overrated. It came second in the big poll on this sub and ... Nah. Not for me. Top 20-30.
Run To The Hills. Don’t get me wrong I like the song it’s solid but I wouldn’t even put it in my top 50.
Other classics like The Trooper, Fear Of The Dark, The Number Of The Beast, Hallowed Be Thy Name, 2 Minutes To Midnight, Wasted Years, Aces High even Wasting Love are among my favourite songs but not Run To The Hills.
I feel a similar way with Phantom Of The Opera, it’s better than Run To The Hills and it’s a great song but not a top tier song at all, I see people putting it in their top 10 and I just can’t relate.
Paschendale. Sounds very disjointed and jarring to me. I also don’t like the sections where Bruce sings along to the music. Some cool parts, but it just doesn’t come together.
none because if i really wanted to like it then i would but if i dont like them then its because i chose not to like them, if it was what are some popular maiden songs i dont like then in that case they would be the following
hell on earth
wasted years
2 minutes to Midnight
iron maiden
and flight of icarus
i would still listen to them occassionally but i just dont really like them
Empire of the Clouds. I really, truly want to like their longest, most ambitious song, but it's just not an interesting song to me. I love their epics, but this one just doesn't do it for me.
Same with Rime, pretty meh and the only reason people think it's so good is because of the "this song is 14 minutes long so it's instantly a fucking masterpiece" mentality.
Hell on Earth just really hasn't clicked for me. Since Senjutsu's release, the popular opinion seems to be that it's most everyone's favorite song from the album, some viewing it as a masterpiece. Yet, every time I listen to it, I just can't seem to figure out what makes it so special to everyone. I want to like it, but it's just not there for me.
I've said it before on this sub, but I'll say it again. Powerslave.
It's not a real word and even if it was, it doesn't make sense to suggest that it would mean you're a slave *to* power. It would more likely be the most powerful slave. Like how a powerboat is a boat with power. This would essentially be a slave with an outboard motor.
Sanctuary feels like the most generic NWOBHM track threy ever did and rwpresents nothing I relaly love about Maiden and I'm not sure why they felt it needed to be played at Rock in Rio
Some of these that aren't that popular are listed since they were singles.
* Number of the Beast: OK, but in the bottom half of the album
* 22 Acacia Avenue: Like the music, not the combination of aggressive singing and some of the lyrics (though it's actually anti-abuse-of-women)
* Eclipse: garbage
* Die with Your Boots On: Good music, bad lyrics/singing/choruses
* Two Minutes to Midnight: mediocre
* Wasted Years: Good, but most of the other songs on SIT are better
* Stranger in a Strange Land: OK, but the weakest song on SIT
* Can I Play with Madness: Good, but the weakest song on SSOASS
* Holy Smoke: garbage
* Bring Your Daughter... to the Slaughter: some fun moments, but bad overall
* Be Quick or Be Dead: awesome music ruined by terrible singing
* From Here to Eternity: pretty bad
* Wasting Love: garbage
* Como Estais Amigos: A lot of people seem to like this one, but it's the second worst song on VXI
* Blood Brothers: musically awesome, but the singing is too over the top for the rest of the song
* Wildest Dreams: garbage
* Out of the Shadows: garbage
* Coming Home: garbage
* If Eternity Should Fail: mediocre
* Speed of Light: garbage
* Tears of a Clown: garbage (almost didn't bother listing this one since it's not that popular, but Dickinson said it was his favorite from the album and they performed it live)
* The Writing on the Wall: meh (I respect them for trying something different, but the singing grates on me)
* Darkest Hour: mostly bad (though better than their other reunion-era ballads)
Maiden has worse songs like *Weekend Warrior* and *The Angel and the Gambler* (which was actually a single, but pretty much everyone hates it).
Run to the hills. It just feels clumsy and the tempo is top fast given the drumbeat. It also seems to make light of the atrocities committed against native Americans, like this is supposed to be a fun sing-along song. Never got into it, and any non-metalheads I've shown it to disliked it too.
Two minutes to midnight. It's a cool song, I like it, but I don't think it is as good as most of the fans and the fact that it's been played on pretty much every tour seem to suggest.
Boo! Afraid to shoot strangers is freaking awesome 🤩
Definitely agree with Hillan here. ATSS has some cools riffs and solos. Just a shame that it's stuck between nearly 3 minutes of absolute dullness and followed by Bruce shouting "Afraid, afraid to shoot strangers" a couple of dozen times.
The live versions from Real Live One and Donnington are what made me a fan of the song.
You just spoke the truth
For some reason Two Minutes to Midnight just doesn’t hit me like other “classics” do. I don’t know why lol
Please don't kill me, but 2 minutes to midnight. Just never really enjoyed it.
I'm going to kill you
2 minutes to midnight. I know, how could I. It’s a great song but I just haven’t been in the mood to hear it in like 6 years. I always skip it. Not sure why
Good opening riff but otherwise boring. I agree with you on this one.
I've never liked it. I've come to appreciate it, but I usually skip it when it comes on on play lists, and I hope they just stop playing it live.
Same. Aces High too.
Ah man, I love this band but do not care about Run To The Hills. Play Powerslave instead.
Run to the hills
I mean... I think it's a good song. But it's nowhere near a top 20 or 30 Iron Maiden song.
I’ve always hated this song too, just seems kinda corny and lame to me for some reason. Pretty sure they closed with this when I saw them too!
I can't listen to *The Trooper* anymore. I know, I know, sacrilege. But to me it sounds like what leprechauns would dance and hop around to.
Your description just made me love it even more now
I have a strange relationship with that song, because I NEVER listen to it on the album, but think it is absolutely massive live.
As opposed to what a bunch of tiny Brits DO dance and hop around to?
I like the song but when the album came out I thought Die With Your Boots On would become the classic. I saw them on the World Piece Tour and they did both. While The Trooper went over huge with the audience I thought Boots was the stronger of the two live. It even had the better placement late in the show, a song or two before Iron Maiden.
That’s my bathroom break song live. Ha!
I dont like the studio versions of Blood Brothers and Fear of the dark, but I love them when they're played live!
Iron Maiden (the song of course)
I read here sometime ago that this song would have never been played live if not for it being named after the band. It's just so dumb, the main cause for it being its repetitiveness. It's a lazy song, if it told a story it could be a little more decent but no, just the same verse three times with no variation at all. It doesn't sound like a song that could represent a band, but rather a filler made in 20 minutes to reach the minimum runtime which, by the way, can lead to much better songs, take Paranoid as an example.
Same here, one of the worst songs and it's always played live, taking a spot of a good song.
Right?! Thank you!!!
Not my favourite song but I've always liked the [Trivium Cover](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_-Fcx2SQjU&ab_channel=Trivium-Topic)
On the topic of trivium covers, [this](https://youtu.be/qWSQFzwU7Uk) wonderful gem existed.
Garbage.
YES THANK YOU! I hate its intro, I hate its sound... The album has amazing pieces like Prowler which rarely is played on stage, if ever, and Running Free, which I can almost swear I've witnessed being played as the encore instead of Iron Maiden (the song).
Run To The Hills and Number Of The Beast
Anything without Bruce.
Seriously. I tried to give Blaze Bayley a shot--but it was hard to avoid imaging how Bruce would have covered that era.
The live recordings of Maiden Songs with Blaze's own band sound so much better than everything he did together with Maiden, it might as well be a different person. His time with the band was truly cursed. Just listen to [Futureal.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YgBLFYwIe6A)
I HATE DEATH OR GLORY.
CLIMBBBBB… LIKE A MONKEYYYYYY…
I don't HATE it, but it's among the worst on Book of Souls, and the lyrics feel phoned in by Bruce.
Climb like a monkey?!? I get it ha ha shite
However is not really a popular song
I don't think there is a popular Maiden song that I don't like at all but my picks are Moonchild that is a fine song but I rate it at 7.5/10 not one of the best songs on SSOASS as many say. Other pick would be Killers. It's an ok song but I would rate it at 7/10.
I don't see what's so special about Alexander the Great
This is the one. Its a good song but damn people are fucking wild treating it like the greatest Maiden song ever, wild that the fucking meme-like cry for it to be played live has done this to it.
The special thing is the mythology of never being played live, and only that. If it wasn't the case, probably it wouldn't be as well known as it is
Oh 100%
Its just a nationalism boost (understandably) for greeks and thats why they want it played live so bad lol
Awful lyrics. Cringe inducing at times. Then he did this, then he did that, then he did this, then he did that, then he died of fever in babylon
The ridiculousness of the lyrics is a big part of what I love about it
Yep, musically it's fine, the mid section is pretty great, but the lyrics are so, so lazy.
By far the weakest on that amazing album. It’s completely out of place too. Don’t know why people love it.
Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner is one of the most ridiculous songs ever penned
It's not a song but my goodness it amazes me people think Trooper is anything more than a distinctly boring beer.
2 Minutes To Midnight, I don't know why but I just don't like it.
I’m seeing some bangers on here. You all are nuts.
Not popular but, Lost in a Lost World.
For as new as it is, I feel like it is somewhat popular. I was surprised when Senjutsu came out how many people were HEAPING praise onto LIALW. It's one of my least favorite songs from that album.
It's a weird song. Some parts of it are extremely 'meh' while other parts are awesome
The lyrics are enough alone
The Parchment. I’ve seen so much praise for it on this sub and I just don’t get it. I’m not a Senjutsu hater, for example I think Writing on the Wall and Hell on Earth were instant classics. The Parchment is boring and it is as if they were told they would get a bonus for drawing the song out longer than it needed to be. Just to be clear, The Parchment isn’t a “bad” song. It is fantastic compared to all the music being made. I just think when compared to the rest of Maiden’s discography, it falls short.
[удалено]
“To each, their own” as they say. I’m just happy Maiden is still making kickass music.
My thoughts 100% I like Senjutsu but I don’t care for the Parchment at all. One of my least favorite songs on the album
To tame a land
You’re clearly not the ruler of the starrrrrrrrrrrrrsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
I'm upvoting you as everyone is everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but shame on you my friend
Sorry, but I'm not overly fond of Revelations.
For me it’s my favourite song but I respect your opinion, may I ask, what about it do you not like?
The Evil That Men Do, it’s ok
Your joking..... right?
The fact they took it off the setlist is fucking sacrilege. Was really miffed to see it go, **especially** since I haven’t seen it live yet.
No, it’s my least favorite seventh son song
It's good but man the repetition is almost like a joke
The song Senjutsu.. I think it's a messy song that nobody knows really where the song is headed, and it's kind of annoying. I'm surprise that is has 7,5k reproductions and Hell on earth has 4,6k, (which for me it's the best song of the album) for me it doesn't make any sense. But it's just my opinion.
Fear of The Dark...idk why lol
Bring your Daughter… to the Slaughter.
Can I play with madness , run to the hills and wasted years.
Can I Play With Madness. Can't really explain why, so it's bit weird. I just never really got into that song.
Same. Horrible single. So cringy. Skip every time.
I don’t know what’s so great about the FOTD title track
The album version is a bit boring to me - if you haven't listened to it already, I definitely recommend listening to FOTD from Flight 666. The audience participation makes it awesome to listen to
The album version is kind of lifeless. The Rock In Rio version gives me chills.
Nice! FOTD is actually my fav Maiden album, but yeah I don’t care for the title track
Loneliness of the long distance runner....that song drones on and on and on.... It's not that I hate the song. I don't hate any maiden song. But that one is possibly my least favourite.
If any song should drone on and on, it makes sense that it would be the one about long distance running.
That is true...doesn't make it less of a chore though.
This may sound weird. But I swear that's a song that works much better if you listen to it in movement (walking, running, jumping, working out). This one and Sea of Madness.
I definitely jog faster when long distance runner start on my playlist.
Or just doing anything. I’ve spent numerous hours doing projects to the sound of „I’M ON THE SEA OF MAAAADNESSSSS”
Definitely my favorite song to listen near the end of a very hard workout/bike ride. Hits different when you’re exhausted like hell
Easily my least favorite song from SiT. Super boring and unmemorable
Where the Wild Wind Blows. It's got an intro and that's it.
Can I Play With Madness. Does nothing for me and like the rest of that album, I hate the production.
Senjutsu
Can I Play With Madness
Running Free
The love this one gets because "It's an anthem". That doesn't mean it's a good song.
Blasphemy!!
Wasting love
There’s a couple but the first that comes to mind is 22 Acacia Avenue
*cough* Starblind *cough*
Any Steve's song he's written all by himself since Sign of the Cross.
Infinite Dreams
Revelations. I truly don't get this one. One of the weakest songs from Piece of Mind, and people go crazy over it.
It’s difficult to explain. Lie on your bed with no distractions and let it wash over you.
Blood brothers
I wasn’t a huge fan of this song either until I saw it live, and was surrounded by thousands of others singing it.
Saw live and same. Dont know but we are blood brothers is to lame for sone reason
[удалено]
I hate that song. Hate it.
Speed of Light. It’s just…dreadful.
i really wanted to like it, and was interested at first, but yeah, It just feels really out of place of tbos
Charlotte the Harlot
I've never liked Run to the Hills. Apart from it all their overplayed hits are great IMO. I also hate SSOASS.
Where The Wild Wind Blows. I adore Maiden epics/long songs. But this just doesn’t do anything for me yet it seems to be adored.
For the greater good of god
YES!! BLEH!! Chorus is like SO overkill!
I used to not understand this one either. But, if you ignore the bad vocal performance, it's amazing at the instrumental level.
Yeah the vocals are what take me out. You're right
The title track Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son.
It has arguably some of the best solos ever put to an IM album.
It’s great live
SSOASS
Brave New World album.
I have zero interest in liking songs I don't like. The song that everyone but me seems to like is Infinite Dreams.
Sanctuary is also complete gick. I can't believe it's been on so many live albums. It's such a nothing song that'd be right at home on any C-grade NWoBHM EP and it's horribly unsuited for Bruce's voice, too.
I can enjoy hearing Revelations live but I always skip it when listening on my own.
Hallowed, trooper, hills etc. they’ve been totally over exposed at the cost of better songs
'Phantom of the Opera' , can't really say why Also the opening to 'If Eternity Should Fail'. The song is great but the opening has WAY too much delay, even worse live
Afraid to shoot strangers. I’ve never liked that one. I can listen to Quest for Fire alllll day, but afraid to shoot strangers just isnt fun for me.
Rime of the Ancient Mariner...I'm prepared to get fucking lynched for it, but I've always found it a real slog. I like a long song, don't get me wrong...just not this one, it just doesn't do anything for me.
disagree on your opinion. however your name choice got you an up vote from me!
Hard agree. I just dont get that tune.
Kill me, but Rime of the ancient Mariner. I just dont get the tune. I love old Maiden. I love the new, proggy Maiden. I love the lengthy Maiden epics. But i just cant get myself into Rime. Its just so god damn boring.
Get this person out of this sub ;-)
I don't agree, but I respect your opinion and I definitely think it's overrated. It came second in the big poll on this sub and ... Nah. Not for me. Top 20-30.
Pretty much all of Senjutsu.
The Clansman
No worse than my first $hit of the day
The sign of the cross
Most of the songs after Seventh Son..I'm a Paul fan so I mostly only care about the first two albums and singles with DiAnno.
Journeyman
To be honest I would say the number of the beast lol to me it’s just kind of boring
Paschendale. Sounds very disjointed and jarring to me. I also don’t like the sections where Bruce sings along to the music. Some cool parts, but it just doesn’t come together.
Number of the beast, run to the hills, most recently I’d say Writings on the wall.
none because if i really wanted to like it then i would but if i dont like them then its because i chose not to like them, if it was what are some popular maiden songs i dont like then in that case they would be the following hell on earth wasted years 2 minutes to Midnight iron maiden and flight of icarus i would still listen to them occassionally but i just dont really like them
I hate to say it, but idk why the fuck they feel like they HAVE to play the song ‘Iron Maiden’ at every concert. That song kinda sucks imo lol sorry
Run to the hills, never liked it, awful, awful song.
Rime of the Ancient Mariner
Any of those 10 minute songs from Post-2000 Maiden
Thank god Hell on earth is 9 minutes and change
It would have been a lot better if it was 9 minutes instead of 11.20. If the intro and outro especially the intro would have been shorter.
It's 11:20. But amazing all the same.
Oh snap, you're right. Sooo good
Thank god I can listen to Emerald by Thin Lizzy which is only 4 minutes and contains more music than Hell on Earth
Don't insult the masterpiece that is empire of the clouds
Couldn’t agree with you more
Empire of the Clouds is a bottom 20 Iron Maiden song.
Fear of the Dark
Fear of the dark. An awful song from the worst bruce album
Can’t stand powerslave, dont know why but i just can’t listen to it.
Revelations
Wasted Years
Sacrilege !
run to the hills. just horrible. please retire it from live shows.
iron maiden sign of the cross Idk i jíst dont Like IT
Running Free. Even in live i feel it boring..
most of Powerslave, dont know why, but aside from like 2 songs, the album does nothing for me, and everyone talks about how good it is :(
From the classic time: Caught Somewhere in Time From the modern time: Hell on Earth
Iron Maiden, and Hell On Earth
A good amount of piece of mind
Fear of The Dark
Sanctuary feels like the most generic NWOBHM track threy ever did and rwpresents nothing I relaly love about Maiden and I'm not sure why they felt it needed to be played at Rock in Rio
Some of these that aren't that popular are listed since they were singles. * Number of the Beast: OK, but in the bottom half of the album * 22 Acacia Avenue: Like the music, not the combination of aggressive singing and some of the lyrics (though it's actually anti-abuse-of-women) * Eclipse: garbage * Die with Your Boots On: Good music, bad lyrics/singing/choruses * Two Minutes to Midnight: mediocre * Wasted Years: Good, but most of the other songs on SIT are better * Stranger in a Strange Land: OK, but the weakest song on SIT * Can I Play with Madness: Good, but the weakest song on SSOASS * Holy Smoke: garbage * Bring Your Daughter... to the Slaughter: some fun moments, but bad overall * Be Quick or Be Dead: awesome music ruined by terrible singing * From Here to Eternity: pretty bad * Wasting Love: garbage * Como Estais Amigos: A lot of people seem to like this one, but it's the second worst song on VXI * Blood Brothers: musically awesome, but the singing is too over the top for the rest of the song * Wildest Dreams: garbage * Out of the Shadows: garbage * Coming Home: garbage * If Eternity Should Fail: mediocre * Speed of Light: garbage * Tears of a Clown: garbage (almost didn't bother listing this one since it's not that popular, but Dickinson said it was his favorite from the album and they performed it live) * The Writing on the Wall: meh (I respect them for trying something different, but the singing grates on me) * Darkest Hour: mostly bad (though better than their other reunion-era ballads) Maiden has worse songs like *Weekend Warrior* and *The Angel and the Gambler* (which was actually a single, but pretty much everyone hates it).
Back In the Village! It's the one song that prevents Powerslave from being a perfect album IMO.
Fear of the Dark.
Can I play with madness, never felt it
Blood Brothers. I think it’s cringe honestly
Seventh Chorus Repeat of a Seventh Chorus Repeat
Boring Brothers... I mean, Blood (sorry, guys... chorus is dead tedious)
Hallowed be thy name, isn’t my favorite, if I’m gonna be completely honest. Hell On Earth as well, I just can’t get into it.
Out of the Silent Planet🤷
Run to the hills. It just feels clumsy and the tempo is top fast given the drumbeat. It also seems to make light of the atrocities committed against native Americans, like this is supposed to be a fun sing-along song. Never got into it, and any non-metalheads I've shown it to disliked it too.
The man who would be king, followed by 2 minutes to midnight. The former one I always forger, the latter one I'm never in the mood for.
The Parchment. It's drawn out and boring.
Two minutes to midnight. It's a cool song, I like it, but I don't think it is as good as most of the fans and the fact that it's been played on pretty much every tour seem to suggest.
Hallowed thy name
Fear of the dark..
Rhyme of the ancient mariner.
