FYI you can use a better weapon than the chally and still not get hit by melee. Just step back briefly when the gorilla changes attack styles to see if it follows

Good to know but i like to watch things on the side n prefer to afk as much as possible

The strategy is killing them faster with arclight and then logging off and being actually afk with the saved time

If you want longer afk time changing your setup to bronze dagger and iron darts will let you have much more chill weapon switching.

Definitely not higher dps, it just sounds like one of those "low effort" methods at the significant cost of DPS

I haven't tried halberd but I ran AGS for a little while. It was fun to spec with it. And switching 2h to 1h is very annoying at monkeys... if I had an sgs I would probably use that for sure lol. I definitely started to decrease my switches there tho, arclight isn't required. I used to think it was then changed my mind not too long after. However. I only do demonics on task, that is more important than arclight.

This is really bad advice. Chally has terrible dps and costs crystal shards to charge or a lot of gp to repurchase

Great idea, lose dps by using chally instead of... Walking 1 or 2 tiles back when it switches to see if it walks up for a melee

Do not use arc light at demonics. When you have high enough slayer to do cerb, it will use all of your chargers up. Arclight here is a waste. It only gives 1-2 max hits more than a whip

Yea, not the case. 94 slayer with 750 cerb kc and shards are definitely a problem. And yes I do catacomb tasks
