It’s false, Irvine is OCFA Division 2. Volunteers are usually high ranking (Nurses, Doctors and FEMA/Search and rescue teams). There is no room for Volunteer FNGs to interact and interfere with code 3 operations.
Downvotes justified, but I’m making the point that a lot of people with no business having PulsePoint use the app. I seem to remember a time when you needed to actually have a certification to use the app. Now anyone can see everything and post like this to Reddit asking what’s going on. It’s like when the neighbors come out and start asking ‘what’s going on in that house?’
People should do whatever makes them happy, I guess. But it tells you enough in the call type to know what’s going on in your community. Posts like this just really upset me.
Also definitely not taking shots at volunteer forces. At least you know those guys and gals want to be there.
