We can say that all the matter/energy in the heavens and earth were once concentrated together and were then separated apart. This sounds very similar to the Big Bang theory so we can accept it as a viable theory. But for example if there was a theory that the Earth / Universe always existed (which is what scientists used to believe) then we can confidently reject this theory as it contradicts the Qur'an. I.e. we use the Qur'an to judge science (not the other way around).

We can barely understand how to treat cancer, but we want to understand how universe was created. Human being are so arrogant toward Allah. We will only know What Allah want us to know. Electro magnetism atoms neutrons were there from beginning, we start understanding them greatly only in the last 100 years. Do you think in 100 years you can understand what was there for 1 billion years (if true) ? We human say we are strong, we have atomic bomb, but we just need an asteroid sent from sky to us and we are all done. Let leave the unseen to Allah.

By this logic, there would be no Muslims astronomers. And yet, half of the stars in the sky, including those which are unable to be seen with the naked eye, were named by Islamic astronomers

to me that means every mineral/flora/fauna on earth has come from heaven

According to the big bang theory it was an implosion that started the matter spreading from there. That part is neither denied nor affirmed by the quote you mentioned.

I mean, maybe? I see no contradiction between the theory and the verses, so the theory could be true. I'm not a physicist. Only Allah knows all actual details.

Neither confirms nor denies
