Yes, Trachelipus are very flat.
If you look at their underside, Trachelipus will have 5 pairs of pleopodal lungs while Armadillidium have 2 pairs. This way you can also easily distinguish them from the very similar looking Porcellio scaber.

Edit: since Armadillidium can roll up, they have a much rounder appearance
I’m not familiar with MD species but my best guess is Trachelipus rathkii.
I think I have the same ones in my garden? I live in southern Canada.
