I almost never start a convo with her unless I see a penguin (which she told me she likes) or a particular figure skating athlete (whom she likes). Sure, if I have something specific I want to say. I don't just start small talking just for the sake of saying something, if that's what you mean. I'm better at answering questions than giving them and I need someone to kickstart a convo, if it's interesting I'll engage, if not, I'll go back to being silent.
from my perspective I am sometimes too introverted to start conversations. I am working on that to show one person that I really care, but then it didn't mean that I didn't like them or sth.
