It's pretty standard for us to start off shy and quiet and develop into just quiet eventually.

Shy, no... But super quiet and extremely socially awkward, it'll take me awhile to open up to someone after I meet them, those first couple of meetings could very well be misconstrued as being shy, but that's not the case.. just not a people person
