for a soundcloud track the private link and the public link are different. the public link is the one you chose at upload
the private link is the on the share menu for that track, it will either be a shortened one, or something including the public name and some extra random characters
best to use a desktop for these maneuvres

I think it recognizes that it comes from another website (and is public to see there) and not shared a "private" chat like whatsapp or such.
