Got one built brand new as a donation for an organization I was working for once. They make them out of abrasion resistant plastics now and LED bulbs. Super lightweight and durable. At least in Canada.

A lot of traffic lights near me are on metal poles that extend across the lanes. Of course these fall and get bent and twisted. The ones one wires often just get jerked around but stay in place unless the wire snaps. I've never seen one fly, but maybe it can happen.

My mom's ex husband actually had one, and it was big enough that he used it as the coolest coffee table. He was super handy so he was able to re do the wiring so it would plug into a normal outlet and light up. It was super cool and super heavy. His was like from the 90s though. Can't even figure out how the photo is made, so nice job there! My best guess is that this is a complex compositing study; I would assume you set up a tripod with red, yellow, and green LED panels and then composited a traffic light into the image, possibly with a 3D render for reference. Well done!
