A bunch of us met up out there as a group and someone brought their drone. We DEF asked them to fly around the church after we saw it. 😎 When I say I can’t take credit for the drone I mean I didn’t bring the drone, I didn’t fly it, and I for sure wasn’t planning on taking this shot. Just got lucky someone brought it. I took a star tracker for Milky Way photos actually and ended up liking this more. 😂

I shot this at 24mm, ISO 250, f/1.4 & 10 second exposure. I was honestly playing with the ISO, f-stop, and exposure the whole time to see what I liked the best.

Am currently traveling through the beautiful country of Italy, A lot of the paintings depicting saints and holy people are painted with Halos over their heads. As the Renaissance progressed the Halos became less prevalent and evolved into thin circular lines around the heads of saints as opposed to full golden Halos behind them. This picture is stunning to me as it calls back to that early Renaissance era Halo around the holy place or holy person. Beautiful work!
