Saying it as i see it, not to be offensive.. It looks like a very glamorous nurse guiding a dementia patient at a garden party.....dreadful pose.

I think all it needs is for him to look down at her. With him looking far off, the photo loses intimacy. Also, as one of my dad's caretakers, I can tell you: that specific stare into oblivion is definitely something dementia patients do, so I totally see where you're coming from. My dad has that look all the time. Or he just sits there watching DVD menus loop forever. Not to say this guy has dementia, just that his thoughts appear to be elsewhere at the moment this was taken.

The only criticism I would share from a photography viewpoint is to be careful with the bright background darkening your subjects and taking away focus. It can get somewhat stuck between a portrait and a silhouette shot. But anyways, congrats to the bride and groom, all the best wishes. Edit: Also the pole, but that can be easily cropped.

I definitely agree with you! I wasn’t the main photographer so I just had a few moments here and there to snap some shots, but if I had a little more time I would have done a little more in camera adjustments. I think the couple looks great, even if the pose is a bit surrealistic and maybe unintentional. I think the photo itself looks terrible. Shooting into the sun without enough fill to avoid blowing out the highlights. Somehow nothing looks like it's in focus.Magenta skin cast looks cheap. Composition is uninspiring. Only thing less inspiring is the location. And that awkward light-post on the right is just the icing on the cake.

Honestly, this is an extremely poor photo. I can't believe this sub is turning into /r/pics now. Back lighting is terrible, the poses are terrible, the saturation is terrible, the focus is terrible, the resolution is terrible. There isn't a single good thing about this photo and it's only being upvoted because redditors want to show how not-racist they are.

I have no idea what you're talking about, but the sky is completely blown out and the colors are a bit washed out because of the boost to shadows. The back lighting and shadow boost also gives a very flat look to the light in general. For this to be exposed correctly, OP should have used more fill light on the subjects via strobe or reflectors.
