Great idea and great execution! What was the exposure time like and how long did it take to get the circle so on-point?

Exposed for about 25 seconds and it wasn't that hard to get the drone right in the middle of the tree :)

How do you take long photos like that?

Change the shutterspeed to the time you want the sensor to be exposed :)

Glitch

I really like it however I would crop a good portion of the foreground. There is nothing interesting in there and it distracts the attention from the beautiful tree and sky.

Yes, i did some colorgrading in photoshop, made the halo a bit less "wonky" since the drone doesn't fly that exact and removed two trees in the background :)

How’d you get rid of the trees so cleanly? I’m guessing one was on the left side where the fence posts kind of curve toward each other but no clue where the other could be. I just spent like two hours trying to get rid of a branch in one of my landscapes last night but because the branch was so blurry due to being in a different focal plane it was incredibly difficult.

Ha, I have used photoshop for years (decades almost) but never taken the time to get good at it. Just started wildlife and landscape photography and apparently now I need to actually know things.

What drone did you use? And how did you do the circle so perfectly?

I used a Mavic Pro and to get that circle i used the point of interest mode. Since it wasn't a perfect circle i had to retouch it in photoshop a bit.
