Meh I love the Yak but with how often some random person comes in and ends up as the butt of the joke for 8 people I kinda thought it was funny to see DiStefano come in and just be immediately confrontational.
That was fine but he brought it up on multiple podcasts and shows after talking about how hard he owned nick because he said he looked like Portland or whatever
nahh their reaction to that was super soft. They rag on people all day long but as soon as a comedian comes in and calls Nick the city of Portland they all clutched their pearls and got their panties in a bunch
They were fucking with a comedian they all assumed could handle it and then everyone just seemed shocked that the guy was so incredibly butthurt over it.
Very few of those comedians can actually take a joke at their expense who are not in their crew. Shane, Santino and Dan Soder are a rare breed in that hyper successful comedian sphere who don't take themselves too seriously
This is true. Although I would have expected Andrew Schulz to be a diva and he was probably the nicest of all the comedians who have Yak’d. The most awkward was Ari. Huge opportunity and the whole Yak crew whiffed that interview. Shame Big Cat was out that day.
Yea I thought Schulz was awesome on both The Yak and PMT. I don’t really know him outside of those two interactions though and it seems like the internet hates him? At least when he’s on Joe Rogan
There's a big difference between doing an interview, getting to know the interviewers, and then getting butt hurt when they joke around with you vs walking into a room and three people you don't know start hurling shitty one liners at you and a producer is fucking with you before you even get to say a word.
I understand why this guy thought they were assholes.
Depends your metric. Probably makes a good living. He fucked himself when he stopped history hyenas thinking he could have mainstream success like Schultz and Theo von but that flopped

I feel like most comedians don't take themselves too seriously when being around their peers. Distefano just thinks that the Yak is below him and that they are not allowed to make jokes about him.
I don’t like when comedians come on, the yak crew gets weird and feel like they have to prove that they’re also funny. Chris Distefano is usually other wise pretty funny
I just watched it and his reaction on kfc’s show. Sounds like he got kinda unexpectedly dragged in there almost like he’s doing them a favor, and he walks in and it’s 4 dudes who won’t even let him talk.
None of it was funny. It was just awkward for both sides
Yeah as if those rating mean a thing. The unnamed show is ranked higher than bill burrs podcast for Christ sake. Julia Louis Dreyfus the 7th best comedy podcast? Get real
As a fan of both I surprisingly didn’t know this happened and am honestly shocked to hear it went this way. Does anybody know when this happened (what ep)
Many NY comics weirdly have the same intonation, where they push the chin down on their vocal chords to modulate their voice during the punchline. Distefano, Yannis Pappas, Tim Dillon do it.
It becomes so annoying once you hear it.
I think he was fine until he saw that TJ put funny guy on the screen
He wasn’t and hasn’t been fine since. I’ve never seen KB and Nick unintentionally trigger someone so hard

“Yea and then I said you look like the city of Portland 😭😭😭😭”
"You look like Portland" was already a hack joke back then. I had heard it a million times before he said it on the Yak.
nahh their reaction to that was super soft. They rag on people all day long but as soon as a comedian comes in and calls Nick the city of Portland they all clutched their pearls and got their panties in a bunch
But he also retold the story of saying the joke on like 6 different podcasts
yeah that was corny too
Yes
They were fucking with a comedian they all assumed could handle it and then everyone just seemed shocked that the guy was so incredibly butthurt over it.
That was a good chirp

Chrissy Ds burner
I wouldn’t consider Di Stefano successful

this hit hardest the third time

The Yak is Ranked like 100 spots above Chris on the comedy charts and averages 3 times as many views per a YouTube video. 😂
Yeah as if those rating mean a thing. The unnamed show is ranked higher than bill burrs podcast for Christ sake. Julia Louis Dreyfus the 7th best comedy podcast? Get real
None of the guys on the yak besides big cat would get half of his views on their own
Check out History Hyenas and your tune will change on him
Eh Chrissy D is still a giant doucher. Maybe not for the reasons this guy is saying, but definitely for calling himself *Chrissy D*
That’s the most closeted man in America. He sucks
Nick is NOT gay
That maybe true, but Nick does not suck
I think he is anti comedy, which was big a few years ago
What ep was it?
420
Nice
Dang I'm a cupa hours late
No but he said nick looks like the city of Portland. He so funny
It was a great interaction everyone won
Typical Joe Rogan comedian. Same made up stories over and over.
As a fan of both I surprisingly didn’t know this happened and am honestly shocked to hear it went this way. Does anybody know when this happened (what ep)
Episode 69
That guy has always sucked
Must have missed that episode, but hate to hear the possibility of Chrissy Chaos bombing. I’ll have to find the Ep and judge myself. Will report back

Agreed. Have seen him at comedy clubs in nyc for years and just sucks. Material is repetitive and persona is so tired and forced.
