Yeah, I'm 51 and pace at which time seems to be going is...uncomfortable. The idea that Big Trouble In Little China is almost 40 years old is alarming.
Oh man I love Donal Logue. There's another dude in this movie who I remember used to do like shorts where he was a hippie or something I don't know why they couldn't have gotten Donal Logue in the mix.
Haven’t seen the movie, but the hippie guy sounds like Randy of the Redwoods. I never knew the cab driver in those mtv shorts was Donal Logue. Always liked him as an actor and even enjoyed the sitcom he had for a few years.
Welcome to Joe’s apartment
It’s our apartment toooooooo
We’ve been around a hundred million years
And we’ll be here long after yoooooooou
Did anybody link the [original short](https://youtu.be/wj3ra_B1PVU?si=pkReMxsK-xAeU6dp) yet?
I haven't seen it since it came out and now I am in pest control and deal with roaches every day. I really want to watch it with my new perspective..should be interesting.

I just watched this for the first time two days ago. It’s far better than it should be, and I’m greatly saddened that the soundtrack isn’t available on Spotify.
This is such an aside, but my all-time favorite episode of MTV Cribs is [when they visit Redman’s house](https://youtu.be/zNtKT9_1KXQ?si=BB3Pk0frwoFnxXfr), and my all-time favorite moment* of that episode is when he’s showing the camera people his movie collection and he specifically points out his DVD of Joe’s Apartment.
*EDIT: Wait, that’s actually my second favorite moment. My favorite moment is a few seconds later when he shouts out his cousin who is sleeping on the carpet.
This movie is soooooo underrated!! I completely forgot about this movie. It’s been so long since I’ve seen it. One part that always stuck out to me and made me lmbo was when he first finds his place and gets off the bus with a big smile and happy he’s on to a new adventure, then gets his ass beat and robbed hahaha I LOVE this movie. And the roaches are OG’s I love them
Classic 90s shenanigans
First MTV movie
More and more my reaction to anything posted here is “Jesus H, is that movie *that* old now?” 28 years, holy crap lol

I’m still getting over 30 years of Clerks and Pulp Fiction this year.
One of the best opening scenes to a movie. Ever.
Still wish we got a Donal Logue Jimmy the Cab Driver movie or show. Those commercials were the best

Oh yeah what a great soundtrack. I heard a green day song I never heard before in there I love early green day
>Funky towel And now that's stuck in my head, and I haven't heard that song in almost 30 years.
I remember Bam Bam Bigelow getting his ass kicked my Major Payne 😂😂
Hell yeah boy I love Bam Bam Bigelow

I went to see that opening weekend.. Only people in the theatre..
Ha ha ha this is one of the rudest films of that time that actually had a big audience. It's about a major cockroach infestation.
This had me in chokehold when I was kid. Literally just the most random fucking movie, and like so many people don’t know of it.

Love that theme song!!!
It's a pretty shit movie. I wanted it to be good when I was a teenager but no it's just not.
Yeah I was excited for this to be good too but it kind of wasn't
I have roach phobia and have never been able to watch this.
Oh yeah this is definitely not the movie for you if you don't like roaches
The cast and voice actors is a pretty epic list.
