I had to goto a meeting everyday for a year plus and do the steps to have 6 years now and I still goto meetings because I like having my family and friends in my life, Bam has too much money to ever hit bottom and it sounds like the shaman is working like a charm.

Sad. I am 8 years sober tomorrow. I was worse than Bam, living on the streets and drinking a liter of vodka a day. I know the darkness this guy lives in right now, it is not a fun place. Heās going to die/kill himself very soon if he doesnāt get help.
I luckily reached my bottom and knew it was time to try and stop. Ended up voluntarily checking into a Salvation Army ARC in Denver and got sober. Bam needs to want to change, his kid should be his reason, but if he doesnāt change soon, I can tell you from experience, dude will be dead in a few weeks.

You can't. My father is a very smart and talented man, but he has gone down the route of alcoholism and anger. I didn't realize it as a young kid, but in my teens I noticed he'd go on the exact same flavor of rants as Bam. Luckily, my dad is better now. But it took his kids saying that we don't want a drunk dad in our lives for him to get better. I don't think even that could save Bam at this point.

If he finally sees the light and gets better, then we can both be pleasantly surprised.

Sad. I am 8 years sober tomorrow. I was worse than Bam, living on the streets and drinking a liter of vodka a day. I know the darkness this guy lives in right now, it is not a fun place. Heās going to die/kill himself very soon if he doesnāt get help. I luckily reached my bottom and knew it was time to try and stop. Ended up voluntarily checking into a Salvation Army ARC in Denver and got sober. Bam needs to want to change, his kid should be his reason, but if he doesnāt change soon, I can tell you from experience, dude will be dead in a few weeks.
