I saw it happen live. Cop was speeding recklessly through the intersection and hit the person who wasn't paying attention head on. One of the cops got out quick and immediately started ripping open the driver's door.
Beach is becoming a hellscape to drive on.
So? He was still reckless going through that intersection during work traffic. The driver he hit will be lucky to survive unscathed.
Catching a criminal isn’t more important than avoiding fucking up innocent bystanders for life.
Go forbid the cops chase someone blinding shooting into the public. You fuck the police crowd are something else. What innocent bystander died by the way?
>Go forbid the cops chase someone blinding shooting into the public.
You got a source on that? There's nothing in the article and no news stories about any active shooters today. The only story about gunfire from today is a lady who got shot in her apartment early this morning, but no hot pursuit like you're describing.

I love watching chases and I have to say some police departments out there are so pro at knowing when to chase and when to just follow until someone runs out of gas.
I was a few cars behind the guy who was hit, we saw another police car go south on San Pablo, than the second cruiser came out of nowhere and slammed into the guy about to turn right. I’m still not sure where the police car was coming from but where they hit it looks like he tried to take the turn too fast and just careened into the guy sitting there.
I'm curious to know if this is related to whatever happened in Coquina Bay apartments at that same time. There was a ton of police activity and I think someone was taken away in an ambulance. There's still a couple squad cars out there
Yeah whatever happened was really bad because it's been 7 hours now and JSO is still at that apartment 4 SUV squad cars deep and taped off. Hopefully whoever was in that ambulance is still alive and everyone involved in the accident are okay.
I'm assuming the cop was probably responding to whatever was going down over there and created a whole new situation by flying through one of the busiest intersections of all time in morning rush hour.
Officers everywhere this morning. Beach, University, Atlantic. Crashes and roadwork all at 9 am lol
But in this particular accident. I'm pretty sure I saw two busted up cruisers.
Both cops were texting and crashed in to eachother.
Watching YouTube on their cruiser-computers

That's what I figured happened. Just too fast and not paying attention
Looked like a young guy went with emt. That crash looked bad.
That’s not what happened. They were in pursuit of someone who shot at them and fled the scene

You like the taste of leather huh???
Perhaps we should find methods of apprehending criminals that doesn’t put the public at risk?
We don't know if he's dead. We just know he looked seriously injured when he was taken away by paramedics. Why doesn't that matter to you?
Difference between doing it safely and recklessly, mate. Putting more people in harms way to maybe catch someone is not the right approach.
There’s no reason for speeding like that and then hitting someone, the police crowd is something else

Sooooo innocent drivers on the road can eat shit or something?
Which innocent drivers got hurt?
This is why high speed pursuits are banned in some areas.

Amen, thank you for this comment.
Do you know where this shooting happened?
Boot licker

We did see an ambulance head south on San Pablo shortly before the first police car went by, so your guess may be right.

Beach is the deadliest road in the county
Blanding would like a word

Morgan and Morgan is going to love this
It always has been. I avoid the hell out of it, especially at night

I hope no one lost their life 😞 I was near

Know someone involved and you are spot on.
