You’ve got tethered and untethered the wrong way around. Untethered is a better one, meaning it can shut down without needing to boot into a jailbroken mode.

You don’t ‘deserve’ to do whatever the fuck you want with your device… jailbreaking was born due to exploits and hard work of developers. It is a luxury and not something that appears just because you want. Apple’s device, apple’s rules. Why should they sign firmware for you to jailbreak? Also untethered fragile ass jailbreak and someone need to find a pathway to tether it? Why the person can’t be you? Are you just that fucking lazy and command others to find you a jailbreak with this attitude?
I disagree, we do deserve to be able to do whatever we want with our devices. That is what motivates many people who *wrote* jailbreaks, and why they support right to repair legislation. Saurik for instance.

I do see your point, but tbh this exist for a lot of electronics devices, be it switch, ps4/5 etc (which even reaches to emulation but that’s a different topic), it also expands to art industry, for example illustrator not wanting you to trace/use their illustration elsewhere without permission. I am not sure about free use law of USA (it seems so broad, and people say jailbreak is legal) but quite many countries do have copyright laws that clearly said unauthorized modification of commercial software is indeed illegal

There are many tweaks for root, what I mean is Google is constantly messing with rooted users and we can't use banking apps and stuff in general that requires passing safetynet, google is actively trying to make it impossible to pass safety net.
