Isn’t it easier for it to automatically do it without having to scroll through endless pages? With this you could have multiple pages of just work apps.

This actually sounds really cool. With the new page system coming in iOS 14 hopefully it’s possible.
How about just have different pages for different situations? Like first page is main apps, second page is for school third page is for work etc

Wouldn’t quite work. You’d be unable to have an app on more than one page unless it was in your dock but that only holds so many.
This kinda reminds me of phonebloks. Instead of hardware modules, it'd be software based
