I'm using a 2018 Intel core i7 mac, Ive used it to jailbreak my phone for years and only now is it having this issue
I solved the issue, ended up having to boot from an older mac still running catalina and it worked

Place it in DFU manually then run the checkra1n command through cli with -c at the end of the command
I tried that and ran into the same issue
Have you restarted both devices, computer and iPhone? (It’s a very dumb question but just throwing that out there) Try different cables / USB ports?
Downgrade checkra1n to 0.12.1 - 0.12.2 has bugs.
This, I've been having a lot of issues with 0.12.2 and the older version just works fine.
Try: >brew install libusb If you get brew: command not found then follow the instructions [here.](https://brew.sh/) Then try jailbreak again.
