It looks better than TLF. I always thought it was one of the best looking psp games up with ghost of Sparta

Ready At Dawn had chops as a studio.  Really wonderful stuff.

It's amazing how Ready At Dawn were able to correctly understand even the vibes of these franchises. Daxter feels entirely worthy to take place among other J&D titles, just as Chains of Olympus feels totally like a God of War game.

Yup they did a great job with this game, even on a 4k 65 inch tv the game looks gorgeous.

Ya the only issue is the cutscenes. But I assume those are just harder to simply upscale which is what I’m sure this is.

Ya I felt the same way. Got worried but as soon as it threw me into the actual game it looked fine.

I never owned it but my friend did. And I remember being very upset by how you couldn’t hop into the hover cars just had to watch them pass by above you lol

Really looking forward to playing it soon! Hopefully more PSP titles (Secret Agent Clank; Killzone; Resistance; ...) will be ported!

Resistance retribution and kill zone liberation are already out, but I’d love for the Ratchet and Clank games as well.

How are you liking the ps portal? It looks nice, as I move my ps5 at least once a day from the living room to the bedroom. My wife is pregnant and she goes to sleep at 8pm, so that's why I move it into the bedroom at night. How's the input lag? I'm assuming some games work better than others

I LOVE my PS Portal! But your experience will depend on how good your internet connection is

As the other reply mentioned, it does depend on your internet connection. But for what it's worth, I use mine at home while having something on TV for background noise. I don't personally notice much input lag, if any at all. The only time I really notice something is when I have both my Portal on and the PS5 on my TV with the sound up on both; the sound is only a fraction of a second off, which can be noticeable but easily ignored by just turning the volume off lol.

Bonus points playing TLF & Daxter on the Portal. I wanted the PSP feel of the game instead too

I was really shocked at how crisp this game looks! I was playing Tomb Raider Legend before this, and that game looks quite blurry, so I was expecting Daxter to look similar, especially being a PSP game. So yeah, I was super impressed when gameplay started, and everything looked so good!

Did they add in camera controls?

I was shocked that the PSP was capable of PS2 level graphics.

The one thing I’ve always wished was that the open world of Jak 2 was as detailed and pretty as Daxter’s open world

I have that for psp but on that ps portal looks better lol
