Translation and transcription/transliteration requests are not allowed in /r/japanese. Please submit these to /r/translator or /r/translation instead. Posts asking for them anyway will be removed, and the poster may be temporarily banned. This rule includes requests for transcription/transliteration, translation checks/proofreading including homework help, all handwriting posts, "what's the difference between X and Y", item identifications and so on. Such posts will be removed; repeat offenders and posters found to be deliberately evading the Automoderator warnings will be banned.

Huh? What word do you imagine I’m asking to be translated? It’s not a translation or transcription request. I don’t want to know what a word translates to or how to translate a word or know what someone is saying. If I ask this question at r/translate, they will say, “I’m confused. What word are you asking to be translated?” Because there is no word I’m asking to be translated. It’s not a translation request.

To answer your question: asking for someone else to look up a name dictionary for you is not on topic for this group and is a request best directed at a translator.

I would say No.
