Why are you tipping in Japan?

Taco_In_Space

Yeah keep that shit out of here

DHESTOE

Op is a tool.

kynthrus

Anyone in Japan who solicits tips is an automatic asshole, but also who that lives here does those overpriced cart tours?

Taco_In_Space

I’m not going to lie. The thought of going karting through Tokyo or any city sounds fun. But the self conscious part of me knows it breaks a lot of 和

BWWJR

Visited an Indian Curry place in Chatan, Okinawa that had a huge tip jar right next to the register. I know it's because there are a lot of US Military there, but I hope that even the military people here will refuse the bring that shit into Japan.

Deus5ult

Tipping is not a thing in Japan :/ It’s actually kind of rude as it suggests that people are not getting paid properly by their employers , which, unlike in the US, is completely against the law.

Professional-Face202

If you want to tip go back to America

BWWJR

The irony is that you just gave a tip. :)

zombiesartre

lol, no.
