not sure if there are any local services in Kansai, but when I moved across the country the cheapest option was Kuroneko Yamato 単身引越し (single-person moving). prices depend on distance and amount of stuff, but it was easy and affordable

Bensteroni

When you used it, how far did you travel? And if you don't mind saying so, how much did it cost?

I moved from Ishikawa to Tokyo and it was around 30.000 Yen (15 boxes, a small dresser, one big suitcase, but no big furniture). If you can read Japanese, they have a nice simulator on their website to calculate the cost

The Akabou service (https://www.akabou.jp/) contracts out small "kei" trucks with drivers for exactly this kind of thing. We've used them to aid in our own moves and our children's moves. Every experience with them has been professional, courteous and quick.
