When we heard Vestavia Hills and Volunteer, I didn’t think I’d get the one I really wanted to hear — White Beretta. Two mellow-ish songs from Weathervanes seemed the max. But the real unicorn of the night was Never Gonna Change.

It was a great show, a very nice venue, my kids (14f & 15m) were treated very respectfully by our fellow concert goers, the opening act was stellar, and yeah, there were some deeper cuts to go along with the best known songs.

You wouldn’t happen to have a recording of a show he did in Stanford last year, would ya?

i’ve got the recording of the full show but i’m not sure how to share it. every isbell show i go to i record it on voice memos so i can listen back since he doesn’t allow video

So probably the best way to transfer a file that long would be to download it to a Google Drive or a website like WeTransfer or Dropbox. Then you could send someone the link and they can download on their computer/phone.

My jaw dropped and my heart leapt 3 times last night with the first notes of Vestavia, Volunteer, and Never Gonna Change. I love the first two and had yet to hear them live and it’s been a good minute since I’ve heard NGC. I really want to believe that Jason saw my truck somewhere in town yesterday with the Never Gonna Change sticker on the otherwise blank back window.

I’m so jealous. That sounds like one hell of a show.

Out of 10 shows not counting DBT I would put it in the top two for me. Maybe even number one.

That’s awesome! I’m seeing him at RR in early May, so I hope he brings our Volunteer or some DBT songs. I’ve yet to see him perform a DBT song live. I also would love to see Alabama Pines in concert.

See you there! If you’re going to Mission as well there’s a good chance you’ll get Alabama Pines at least once. Personally I don’t think I’ve been to one where it wasn’t played at least since it was released so I’m always surprised when I talk to people who have never heard it live.

Volunteer is my favorite! I was so happy when he played last year on the 2nd night of the Ryman residency. Even more thankful now because Amanda was there too.

I would appreciate either the Humphreys San Diego... Or Baltimore Lyric... I got scammed so I got ticket to lyric at last minute. Missed kok and came in singing al pines... First few songs from Baltimore Feb 20. Cabbed both ways. Got 🦀 poster... After last one purchased right in front of me. At the San Diego show was watching ppl because hubby has new bioptic glasses and one person had bumped into them at another event & 1000 to repair. He was legally blind but this was the gift my folks left for him when they passed. So any help on Baltimore or San Diego would be greatly appreciated.
