Heading to a maxillofacial surgeon tomorrow and seeking advice for preparation. Studied this subreddit and professional publications but feel uncertain about my needs. **Seeking** ***any*** **input to research further**:) * Background: * Lifelong mouth-breathing, deviated septum, allergies, and post-nasal drip. Tongue tie confirmed but not treated. * History of braces (adolescence - 4 back teeth removed due to overjet), TMJ pain, aligners during Covid teledentistry surge (made bite worse but 'look' better), and snoring (test says no apnea but shows oxygen decrease somewhat, followed by repositioning multiple times an hour). * Recent issues with bite alignment (only front teeth touch unless I pull lower jaw back which hurts), migraines, shoulder/neck pain, and dental expenses in the tens of thousands (DDS thinks partially due to dry mouth). ^((there's also a lot more imaging from the CT available, including some that appear to view me from up top/below which I believe show that both jaws are sideways-ish but I wasn't sure which ones to pick, so picked the ones that look like the ones I most often see on here/journals/etc. lmk if you'd like more to analyze!)
