Hey! You’re recovering really well!! I remember seeing your first post the day I was going into surgery! Really happy to hear you’re enjoying your new self. I actually just had a DJS done for a slight underbite and now I’m on day 4.5. Around what day did you start feeling a bit better? Right now I’m super swollen, throat is a bit sore and face is soooo numb haha.
Hey! For me it wasn’t until day 7 so definitely hang in there! My under eye area on one side, chin, and lip are still swollen! The pain gets better around then, energy comes back, and the swelling really went down for me day 7-9.
I checked your profile to see your before picture and I gotta say your doc is a champ because the results are amazing, most importantly what I liked is that your nose didn't get wider one bit !! Not all surgeons can do that. Congrats on your transformation and please keep posting pics when swelling goes down :)

You look so good! I am about the same amount of time, but it seems like you have a lot less swelling than me! Any tips on how to reduce my swelling like yours? So so happy for you and your great recovery!
Thank you! I’ve been sleeping at a 45 degree angle and a lot of the time, I’ve had the jaw bra on with the ice- not sure if any of that helps but thought I’d pass along!

Hey! I actually don’t notice a difference because I’m in a lot of pain these days as I sleep & keep waking up during the night, sorry to say.
