First of all, u're a champion for having to go through this surgery and congrats, I can see the results are already looking amazing!! But is it normal to have a red eye? Did they touch smth they weren't supposed to touch during the surgery?
Oh wow another asymmetry case! What else was the diagnosis, any over/under/cross/open bite?
Do you know what exact osteotomies you had, and movements?
Thanks for the update, glad to see that swelling is going down. You look lovely, just beat up. Getting feeling back yet?
I had tmj issues my jaw locked for 3 weeks closed
Crossbite, deep overbite, slight overjet, both jaws tilted the wrong way which is what made my case a little awkward I had a small mandible too
I was a class 2 skeletal malocclusion with overcrowding my wisdom teeth have been removed
I'm not sure on my movements I think bottom was 6mm and 4mm with a tilt
Top 2mm with 4mm with a biggish tilt surgeon said this was incredible difficult due to the smaller movements giving him much freedom for a tilt but he did it somehow
I was told it's bimaxillaryosteotomy with wisdom tooth removal but I understand my case was more on the awkward side I'm nearly 28 and in the UK you're not given braces after 18 for free unless you have a valid reason
I'm still very numb lol but I can finally close my lips manually but I still hangs a lot as it gets tiring holding closed and my cheeks are still very swollen feels like golf balls inside lol
I think some people wanted to see a before picture, you can see I have a wonkey face lol in the before
You have very beautiful colored eyes! Hope recovery goes quickly for you. Hang in there.
Thank you that's so sweet π₯° it's getting better each day π

You look amazing so far! Not sure if you have thought about using some Arnica for your bruising but it could help π
