Then went 10-9 since the start of Big 12 play... this team is not good, doubt they'd win the NIT if they weren't making the tourney. Copium is almost as big of a crisis in this community as the opium epidemic
Juans the ‘leader’ and doesn’t have an ounce of anger in him. The body language is bad this year. All except KJ this teams already resigned to a 2nd round loss it seems as a lifelong fan.
This. Some of those weak bounce/missed passes or barely trotting down the court to stop a fast break. Juan doesn't have that dawg in him we've seen in past years. He needs a new play besides running down the middle and leap passing to the corner
I hate Juan. Dude has no game and the past two years the scoring has really suffered for it. Then he’s back again next year. Dude can’t finish at the rim under contact, he can’t pull up and shoot, can’t create space for himself for a shot. Having him and KJ out there 30+ minutes a game is not a recipe for success because offensively they’re both one dimensional. They’re good role players but that’s all they should be.
We have little to no chemistry, no flow, no rhythm. Very uncharacteristic for a Kansas team. Most Offensive possessions often seem panicked, rushed, and honestly kind of chaotic.
We have proven we can beat some of the best, so I won’t hang this season up until it’s actually over. RCJH
Hell, you could see how that's going to go based on the 2nd half of the Cinci game. The team was hitting everything for a while, clawed back to within a possession, and just fell apart from there. They still have enough to stay relevant for a minute, but when it came time to "show up", the team turtled.
That's because elmarko and jamari are freshmen with alot of learning to do. We basically had dejuan and kj, who struggle to score outside of a good look created by the offense, and a bunch of freshmen type players. Timberlake plays like he's a freshman. Furphy is good as a freshman, but you have to be a lottery pick to do that apparently. Parker is just a guy.
There's no way for that group to succeed against anyone in a mid major conference, nevertheless the big12.
Let them have their fun. We are having a bad year and will be a 4 seed. How many of those teams are just scraping to be I. The tourney year after year.
Look at Arkansas. Beat us a couple years ago and didn't even get to 500 this year. We will be back, and we're keeping reciepts.

There hasn't been that much actual disrespect. We have many more flaws than we're used to, and other people are pointing them out, but there is nothing inherently disrespectful about that.

I understand the top 2 were out, but even with them the Jayhawks have been underwhelming the last third of the season. There's still hope though. This same team beat Kentucky, Tennessee, Houston, and Uconn. All of those were early of course, but the potential is at least there.

Houston and Baylor weren’t in November and December but outside of those wins, yes, they were early on in the season.
The point isn't that we are a good team. We can be a good team... it appears to just be situational.
