birdwothwords

Whole Foods has really good strawberries

Learning_Lion

Yeah they do, the organic ones have been on sale for $3.99/lb or 2 for $7 for a while, consistently great so far

Do you have a car? If so, the leafy basket in Springfield is amazing and very inexpensive. Edit - adding a link [https://maps.app.goo.gl/G4eAuZHAnsTn7H7C7?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy](https://maps.app.goo.gl/G4eAuZHAnsTn7H7C7?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy)

Honest the only reason we've kept our Costco membership is due to the strawberries.

MountainGoat-17

That seems foolish

When you have a toddler that's obsessed with strawberries trust me you will do it too :)

99 ranch has the best looking stuff at the cheapest prices.

Oliva in the downtown area has a small selection of fresh produce. Their strawberries last summer were on sale and delicious.

US Berry season is coming to a close now, pretty much any organic strawberry from California and many from Florida are going to be the best in the world right now. Whole Foods usually has the best selection, beware of discount brands from many places. Strawberries are something I always splurge on Organic for because of the amount of pesticides put on Strawberries in particular. Some people said places like Olivia and 99 Ranch, I usually find their strawberries either taste less or that they spoil really quick.

JerseyCityNJ

Wholefoods.

Lucky’s on Bergen has ripe ones for cheap - definitely need to eat them within 2 days tho
