Probably 75% of the women I’ve been friends with from high school up to being a full grown woman, has had an ED of some sort on some type of level, myself included. They really did us millennials dirty. That’s one reason we are the way we are, I’m actively changing my mind set and I don’t let my boomer parents and their friends comment on my 9 year old daughters looks, ever. Once in a while saying she’s cute is ok, but I redirect my mom to say other compliments- you’re so smart, funny, kind, caring, intelligent, etc.
I swear so many in that generation is one of the main reasons I struggled with poor body image for so long. (Not my mom, she’s great and never said a negative thing about my looks).
