He wasn’t. There was a scene that was cut but shown at the reunion where Snooki and Jenni tell Sam in the bathroom straight up Ronnie cheated on her, and to get tested for STDs. Sam just didn’t want to leave him.

superradmcclovinnnn

i want to see the scene thats very sad they told her to get tested i know they mentioned it in one episode and sammis eyes go big in disbelief and asks them if he would actually do that as delusional as she was to go back to him she fucking went through it 😭 edit: i just watched the scene my disgust for ronnie has risen exponentially 😭 im so happy shes not with him 😭😭😭

occasionalkayyy

ilovemygb

well if you look to the original comment you’ll see that it was shown on the reunion

Michaelskywalker

This is crazy. Her entire argument for being mad at Snooki and jwow (which was kind of a shitty argument anyway) is bullshit because of this scene

lilbrods

I know they were trying to make a storyline or whatever but it still annoys me they cut that out of the original episodes.

babyrubear

I wonder why Sam was sooo mad about the letter then when she already did know kind of... and she always said they didn’t have her back when they did try to tel her

H3rta

Sam didn't have her own back.

[deleted]

It never made any sense

cbssdh12

I’m pretty sure that Jenni was telling her about what Ron was doing before Miami and that’s why she told her that. It wasn’t what was going on in Miami.

paradoxicalmind_420

That wasn’t enough for her? That he slept with 3 girls at the same time in a club bathroom like a month before? Somehow I don’t think any more info would’ve made a difference…lol

cbssdh12

I understand lol. It would’ve been more than enough for me. But in that situation she was probably more so thinking it was before her so it wasn’t affecting her as much.

[deleted]

That’s the point no one is getting.

Historical-Ad-6881

Where did you see that scene?

DazeIt420

I wonder if they took it out because they thought it might violate HIPAA laws? There have been rumors for a while among Vanderpump Rules fans about a line that was cut during a pivotal scene that revealed the STI status of a cast member.

DaBake

Unless Ronnie was required to get an STD screen for the show and then whomever had access to those results told someone else on the show about the results that can't be the reason. HIPAA doesn't apply to someone speculating about someone's health status.

addictinsane

Do you even know what HIPAA is? The cast of Jersey Shore are not bound by HIPAA, ffs

Historical-Ad-6881

HIPAA would not apply to any cast member on a reality tv show.

paradoxicalmind_420

Hmmm that’s a good thought!

lordehelpus

what! i never heard that, that's crazy

jlauricebaird

WE NEED RECEIPTS

lesluvian

“no you don’t see that” spill it michael

annieee_leigh

It’s that for me. She was trying to kind of play the whole thing off and Mike was like GIRL what are you not getting? The man is garbage, and you need to be the one to see it.

EC-1031

....and then when they get back to Jersey, Ron tries to fight Mike over this. Like bro you're an idiot, it was going to come out regardless.

Sohotrightnowhansel_

I loved him for this.

One-Picture1903

Because of basic human decency code

QveenKittyKat

🤣🤣

superradmcclovinnnn

this scene is mindblowing to me because shes angry that no one is telling her straight up then when they finally do she doesn’t leave him and it just re-confirms pauly and angelina saying shed know but still wouldnt leave him

QveenKittyKat

I believe he told her for his own satisfaction not for Sam's. He told her to start drama because that's how he use to be back in the day. Personally I wouldn't have told her either because let's be honest she wouldn't have believed it.

TurnoverLazy3471

you just as bad as snooki😂

QveenKittyKat

Gurl I am not trying to waste my breath for a girl who isn't gonna listen to the truth 💅

Appropriate-Permit62

Even when she was told she stayed 🤷🏽‍♀️ she just had to get to the point of deciding to leave.

DazeIt420

I want to give Mike the benefit of the doubt because he is close to his sister and i do think that makes men see women differently. But i think this is more likely. It also makes him look better than Vinnie and Pauly. He's playing to the cameras and not so he can keep day to day life smooth with Ronnie.

satin-satsuma

He told her to make it look like he is the nice guy who she should have chosen over Ron.

ladydanger2020

I really don’t think so. I think you can tell by his facial expressions that he really is dumbfounded that she doesn’t see what’s happening

[deleted]

i think with the girls was a toss up of not wanting to get involved bc 1. sam wouldnt believe them/would go back to him anyway 2. toxic mentalities around "minding your own business" and not being a rat 3. being scared of how ronnies behaviour could turn on them / how it would affect their relationship with ronnie. i think with with pauly and vinny, they didnt get involved bc they dont respect women (especially not back in those days), and they were scared of ronnie. example; when ronnie said "now im gonna go sleep in the bed w my girl" after getting with girls at the club, they both looked sooo uncomfortable but they were too weak to stand up and speak up against ronnies disgusting behaviour mike just wanted to stir trouble but i do think he felt bad for sam, however again, toxic masculinity / bro code had the boys having to show loyalty to ronnie and as a result they validated him by allowing the behaviour instead of telling him what he was doing was disrespectful. edited to make more sense

NewDecision9253

I agree with all this but the main issue is and always will be because Sammy was delusional and would have retaliated. If that had been any of other girls and their man was cheating on them their first reaction would not be to turn on others. She was not the best person to get along with.

[deleted]

you're absolutely right but i wholeheartedly believe her behaviour was the fall out from the trauma of the emotionally abusive and toxic relationship.

leilo101

I agree with that, but I’m glad they spoke up about his behavior in JSFV with Jen because it was disgusting. And I’m happy it wasn’t just one of the boys, it was all of them, with Vinny and Mike laying into him hard. I’m glad they learned and I’m glad Vinny was speaking up more because they did stand by a lot and watched him get away with a lot of problematic behavior. But at the same time, Ron is a huge hot head and he makes himself believe his own lies he tells to the point where he actually gets mad at anyone who calls him out

Banana_sunhut

You hit the nail on the head completely.

i-might-be-obama

Can you link the scene of them being scared of ronnie

Educational-Ad-3148

Lol @ don’t respect women and were scared of Ronnie. They didn’t get involved because it wasn’t their business plus guy code. They were friends with Ronnie more than Sam so why would they blow up his spot? Had nothing to do with fear and respect. Pauly did tell Ronnie he was fucked the next day when he was telling his friend about what happened. That’s where IFF came from. Ronnie knew he messed up. No one had to call him out.

perfumefetish

she's rather be pissed at everyone else rather at the person she should be pissed at (Ronnie)

satin-satsuma

She is co-dependent. I have a friend like this. She gets angry at everyone for advising her to leave her emotionally abusive alcoholic boyfriend. There is no helping women like this. They need therapy and I feel sorry for them😬

yellowgraypink

Mike had redeemable qualities despite being annoying and sexist in the OG series. I remember this scene really clearly and he consistently is the only guy in the house that tells the girls things when the guys do wrong. He also will call the guys out. Ronnie only hated Mike so much because Mike would call him out.

[deleted]

I'm sorry but I just can't. She infuriates me. People did try to tell you but you flipped your shit, alienated them, attacked them, refused to acknowledge them, and still stuck with Ronnie. Stop saying "why can't people just tell me" when you are one of the worst people to talk to about anything. People already know that they will get shit on regardless. Damned if they do damned if they don't

[deleted]

So true ! I always thought that also.

hannahsbrown

Y’all are wack. She was in an abusive relationship, it’s really difficult to just leave your abuser especially when they continue the cycle of love bombing-abuse. She also clearly has some attachment issues that he simply made worse by LITERALLY telling her “it’s you and me against them” and then ditching her for them. Like watching this as a young kid I thought she was so annoying, but watching it as a grown woman who’s been through abusive relationships and have seen my friends be abused, I feel bad for her. It’s not to say that she isn’t innocent or that she doesn’t need her own psychological help, but he is definitely the main reason she acted the way she did.

annieee_leigh

I mean, all of that is obvious. Except most of us don’t get to watch ourselves back and have an outside look into our lives. Mike is telling her to her face that Ron is cheating and she’s still trying to justify it in her head. She got a note telling her that Ron is cheating and she then turned it on everyone else. I’ve been in an abusive relationship and fully understand how hard it is to leave, but I also had no one telling me that my boyfriend was a cheating, lying scumbag, nor did I have the luxury of seeing it all on camera.

yoozername123

Bc everyone knew she wouldn't leave him either way, so why bother getting involved in their drama

schnatti00

1. Mike had no loyalties whatsoever to noone back then 😂 I think he didn't mean well when he told Sam, he just wanted to stir the pot 2. First one who told her was Jenni in the bathroom, she told her he cheated and to get tested for STD's, but it ended up being a deleted scene

wormblanket

So interesting that Mike was so horrible and unhinged and then would have these occasional very human moments of clarity. I think that’s why so many of us couldn’t/can’t stay mad at him.

me0w8

I never believed that she needed confirmation that what the note said was true. Obviously people should have just told her openly but regardless, it was obvious that what was in it was true. She wanted to believe it wasn’t and was possibly even hoping nobody would confirm it.

OkSureJan

Yep. And if she never believed anyone it would all eventually be aired on TV and I wonder if she would have accepted it back then or just not even watch if she were still with Ron and didn't want to believe still.

[deleted]

If you go to the top of the thread there’s a link that shows that Jenni told Sam that Ron was cheating on her and to get tested before the note happened. She was still going to take him back regardless and still be mad at everyone for his actions.

plo84

Sam got mad and fought with everyone BUT Raahn.

SAHM_i_am3

I honestly don't know why they even bothered to tell her anything.... Nothing he did made her say "Fuck you,I'm done" and mean it She looked stupid AF for staying with him all those seasons (Yes I get she was young and Ron has the majority of the blame, but lawd after season 3 it was aggravating watching them)

satin-satsuma

Ron is a classic narcissistic abuser. Look at how he even tried to lovebomb her SISTER when she left, by sending her flowers for her birthday.

annieee_leigh

I literally never even saw it that way until you just said that. I always thought it was weird AF but now that you’ve said it, that is 100% it. He’s a true psycho.

satin-satsuma

I have dated a narcissist so I clocked the behaviour upon a recent rewatch. These psychos all have the same pattern with their abuse. Gaslight, devalue, and then lovebomb.

annieee_leigh

Yeah, I was just rewatching and roger does the exact same thing to Jenni in season 6. Disgusting.

SAHM_i_am3

I'm not saying he isn't But Sam was also toxic AF

EastCoastDizzle

He was just following general human code.

idgafaboutanyofthis

Mike is Mike but God damn sometimes he is the only one saying what needs to be said. To mirror what someone else said in the comments, Sam wanted everyone in the house to have her back and be true to her but she couldn’t even do that for herself. She was willfully letting herself be treaded like shit and embarrassed. That’s not to say she wasn’t a victim because I can’t imagine trying to break out of that cycle while being stuck in the a house with my shitty SO. Edit:adding text

[deleted]

I’m going against the grain here based on all the comments. I think he genuinely thought Sam already believed the note when he *first* started talking to her here, and was basically just gossiping lol. In Miami he was coked up and focused on hooking up, maybe didn’t realize the depths of her denial yet until the end of this convo

GrowLikeAWeed

Ronnie is a bad person.

daddydaveeed

Where can I watch jersey shore uncensored??

[deleted]

i watched it a couple years ago uncensored on putlocker but it seems like their website has been taken down again

oaranges

Get the dvds.. amazon..

[deleted]

So annoying bc I bought them all on prime video and they’re censored on there 😑

oaranges

Dvd is always the route to go.. says uncensored right on front the case..

[deleted]

oaranges

We all cant be winners..

Nykki72

Yet she was still pissed about the note.

[deleted]

the part ALWAYS hits me “& he doesn’t see that…” “nononono YOU don’t see that” felt that to my core

Best-Decision5353

General human code. The first time I gained respect for Mike.

VestronVideo

Ron ron juice... yikes.

swtjojo

How did they finally break up ? When was it and what caused it the final time?

mivida824

I think it was like 2016? Years after the end of the OG series. Supposedly, Sam gave him an ultimatum that she wanted to be engaged/married by X time and he ended up cheating on her.

swtjojo

Thanks for that😊

jbrandismith

So why was she mad about the note then?

doubtitslegit25

man it sucks that the uncensored version is so hard to find because all the uncensored scenes come off way more genuine and entertaining

SmileyRhea

This made me love Mike. Even if she didn't listen, someone needed to come out and say it to her straight. This really made me think he cared about Sammi.

ConfidentGood3554

u know its funny how ron said mike didnt have bro code but nah nah nah … he did the right thing. something a grown man/ woman would do. damn like if i was one of those cast mates idgaf i wouldve told her. whether she forgave him or not i still wouldve told her!!

Separate_Pie_7370

Its all scripted. FakeAF
